Peaceful. Nice covered place for a pucnic. Plenty of room for dogs to walk. Little natural trails. Besides it is historical
Its simple, spacious, and historic. The trail along the river is surprisingly long, and allows you to get far enough away fromit for the trip to be worth it, and cathartic.
Great park with plenty of water to get in and views to see. No bathrooms or stores to buy souvenirs. Just bring your fishing pole and your set. Maybe youll grill out.
Best place ever. So beautiful
Its fun in the sun when you can sit and chat with family
I absolutely love this park. I cherish a wonderful memory from a visit to this park! I will carry that memory with me forever! ... very peaceful place to sit and talk, Especially in the evening when its getting dark! The sound of the water is so soothing!
Nice quiet park along Tinker Creek.
Not a park in the traditional sense- more of an overlook for the creek/ river and the dam.
It holds a special place in my heart
This is such a great little park!I love taking my dogs here to play in the creek. There are a couple of hiking trails. Decent amount of wildlife to see.The creek is clean for fishing. People pick up after their dogs. Ducks, herons and cranes can be seen in the creek. Its stocked with trout, crawdads for kids to hunt, lots of mud and queen snakes, minnows to chase....
Its a good place to walk and get out of the house, trout is stocked in winter months.
Possibly good for fly fishing but this cute little place needs some work. The historical plaque was over grown by the bushes, there were no picnic tables and the trails going to the top of the dam was over run with poison ivy. It could be adorable if someone gave it some love.
A little peace and serenity
Pretty place but some people that come there are a little fify.
Great place to just go sit and enjoy the view while possibly having a picnic or something of the like! I have enjoyed it since I was a child and I would definitely recommend going to see it if you havent already!
It was well kept and more space than one would think, prime trout river with shallows and depths long worn river trail but you gotta find the quiet entrance. A secret found with an adventurous eye.
Sound of the water and the water flowing fto5m dam very peaceful. ..clean and well cared for.
Good place for your dog to get in the water
Quiet a peaceful..
