What a fun, welcoming place! The park has been around for at least 50 years, no kidding. We always went there after everywhere else had closed, but its not just a late night after bar. Its a thriving little gay dance club!If you havent done the Sunday drag brunch, the food is to die for and the show is campy, hilarious and wildly entertaining!Just go. Youll love it.

I would love to give this place a 5 star rating, but tonight, when I was searched by a metal detector after going through a walk through metal detector, I was then told that they didnt have any numbers left at the coat check. What do you mean? There are no numbers left No more coat hangers to hang my coat? Yeah, no more numbers. Lol What? !? Afterwards, Luke, delivered some jello shots and the Jello shots were great! Cinnamon apple was delicious. He then remedied the situation by bringing us a number for our coat rack and hung our jackets for free. Thank you very much. 5 star all the way for you. Great music! I just wish all our drinks were the same everywhere. (At all the bars) Long Island great at the front bar, and totally different at the back bar.

Love the atmosphere. Music is based on patrons requests..which is Awesome! Great lighting. A wonderful club for LGBT and LGBT FRIENDLY people over 18 (21 to drink) to enjoy good food, drinks, shows, pagents and events! Always clean and Always fun!

Not sure why my friend’s 1 Star was removed. But also that goes to show you what type of people run this establishment. Just look at the way the owner responses to negative criticism. I guess they need all the business they can get. But it’s still not worth the money or time. We were denied water multiple times by a bartender who laughed in our face. After we were dehydrated just from dancing. Unprofessional and simply not a good look for my first time. Def won’t be going back.

I enjoyed the company of people there and the friends I had with me and the majority of the bar tenders were really kind, however one lady took my bud light from my mouth while I was chugging it as they closed... she clinked my teeth when she grabbed it, I’ve been dealing with a tooth ache for a couple hours now. I was unaware of the rules, but she could’ve handled it in a more professional manner rather than hurting me. I feel as though she could’ve explained their rules and regulations professionally. It was rude. I had someone to tell me to chug down the beer when that lady ripped the bud light directly from my mouth. I said ow and she said “you should’ve finished it before we closed” out of respect I didn’t say anything, but I purchased a 4 dollar beer and it was taken from me by force before I could even drink my money’s worth. She easily could have told me to finish my beer and I would have given it to her, but snatching it out of my mouth with a terrible attitude at that, does not entice me to come back. Please teach your employees to be more courteous.Thank you to the bartenders for the wonderful service.

A good place to go and be yourself without judgement.

Had trouble getting my ID back at the end of the night. I’m 19, so I was supposed to be given a wristband apparently, but the previous bouncer who checked me in didn’t give me one. While leaving they didn’t want to give me my ID and accused me of cutting my wrist band. Thank god I had my friends there who could back me up and tell them I wasn’t given anything when I first got there. One bouncer apologized and said it was just a mistake and he was sorry, while the other said “no dude I’m not sorry.” Everyone else inside the club was very friendly but the crowd wasn’t really much of my vibe, and after experiencing unneeded negativity while trying to leave, I won’t be coming back.

The place is vibrant, the shows are awesome most nights... drinks maybe a little pricey but I assure you, its an overall cool place to go to. (Judgement-Free might I add)

Will be moving to the area in August and was going to visit a few weeks ago on a Saturday... Was not open. Can someone please inform me if this venue is still open and the hours of operation. Holy $h!t this was my first time coming here and the vibe and atmosphere is amazing! Music was on key, people friendly and beyond accepting, and over all service impeccable. I will always come here for a good time. It may be in a shady place and neighborhood but once you go through the door. . Welcome to wonderland baby!!!

I went with friends well chose. We had a good time. We never had a hard time getting a drink. Everyone was very friendly. Fun atmosphere. Always some special attractions going on. Music rocked. Clean,safe,well staffed. Worth the trip.

Very cliqueish. What applies to regulars doesnt apply to those who just go occasionally. Rude guy at door wouldnt page my girlfriend or let me back in a minute or two to find her. Said they didnt page people but had paged somebody as I walked in door. We havent been back since.

I love it there! Im in there almost Every Saturday night! If you love to dance come by on a Saturday night around 12 pm the place will get packed! Drag shows on Friday nights!

Recently moving back from out of state I was very excited to return to The Park. For starters, parking is terrible! All night long the dj has to stop the music to tell people to move their cars. There used to be a lot you could park in across the street. Thats not the case anymore. Secondly, the music is ok depending on the dj they have playing that night. However, the majority of the time the music is not current. Thirdly, the womens bathroom only has two stalls with doors. One of them is out of order. In addition, there was no toilet paper and this was at like 10ish. Mind you the place opens at 9. If you dont vape, dont worry you will now at this place. It literally made my stomach sick breathing in all the flavored vape smoke. Even the bouncers were vaping. No offense take it on the back deck, this place isnt a hookah bar. Most of us paid to have a good time, dance, and drink. Not breathe in all these chemicals. So I had to leave and dont know when Ill be back. Security is the only thing thats going for this place anymore. They check you before entering which is nice. All in all this place is decent and maybe its amazing if its the only club you have been to. However, after living in Dallas and going to their gay clubs this place seems...ehhh. Unfortunately, its the only gay club in the area. They need a new owner...... again.

Best place to go in Roanoke

My Review from when I walked in the door! On Saturday Jan. 6th 20181. Cover Charge after 10pm $8.00 thats great! But you swipe my card for that so thats swipe #1.2. Walking through the doors I noticed that new ownership has taken all the updated equipment that was once in there! Replaced with older model cash registers and credit card processers! Back to leaving your card with the bartenders for a tab, which is very risky!3. I got my drinks paid $11.00 for a beer and shot! Not too too bad! She swiped my card again swipe #2! The beer was good and my shot was terrible! The shot tasted very very cheap! And i had a blue motorcycle which was very very strong way to much alcohol swipe #3 and you might be pouring your profits down the drain!4. Explored the dance floor which was very sticky! Very gross! Being clean is one of the things I look for, here was not so much, they opened the downstairs for smoking and pool cause its cold out thats great but have a little ventilation going it was like walking into a burning building full of cigarette smoke! Didnt eat any of the food due to cleanliness! There use to be a dance cage in the back but now there is a very cheaply made drink stand with a mismatched countertop from all the other ones with lights in it but the top is very cheaply made, it can cut you on the edges so be very careful! Spotlight number at 2am for her birthday was a good performance but poor timing no one wants to watch a queen at 2am they wanna be dancing! Music is variable plays good music a lot of base, like vibrates everything! Cant even talk! And we left after being there 30 minutes! It was so sad to see this place where i used to come all the time, be at its all time low!**My review is based on what I saw and did, my opinion is I didnt like it very much! Needs a janitor to clean the floors and probably update! Again!

I was told the owner takes the money from the bar and money from Pride and uses it for his personal use. Not right to steal from the Pride fund.
