The Filling Station Sports bar & Grill

Monday I was introduced to this little gem, Got hot wings, BIG MEATY wings with breading . Their sauce isnt super hot but is tasty. Tuesday i had them again. Just as good, Wednesday a co work mentioned wings and well 10 more fantastic wings went down the hatch plus some O rings. I did take out all 3 times food was hot and ready on time. I totally recommend the place for wings next up is a Cheeseburger, may have to visit this weekend for that and some suds. ohh baby!!!

Best place on Williamson Rd to get a cold brew, a stiff drink, a home-cooked meal, play some pool, or slots, sing Karaoke, or request your favorite Dance song!!! Love my local watering hole!

Ok, when in Roanoke & truly looking for a local pub with great burgers,chilli cheese fries, pool & karaoke.. you have to stop by. KK (Kay-Kay).. pulled my beer to my dinner order & think even went to kitchen & cooked. Cant beat!

Everyone at our table was quite pleased. feels similar to a restaurant in philadelphia that i enjoyed visiting.

I have not been here in forever, since I was married almost...a good while ago.It was different and it wasnt. It is what it is and I dont see anything wrong with that.Good service for a Thanksgiving evening. They had food for anyone who wanted to eat for the holiday. I felt that was a great idea and I am very happy for those who didnt have any dinner to go over there and get it free. It was brought by people there.The music was good and the karaoke was well like karaoke at all places. It was very good to see people have fun.But it also has its times when even friends and alcohol mix up can be an argument. But it was stopped quick by the people and the staff. No one was hurt and all was well.I wanted some fresh french fries and onion rings. I was happy that they actually stay serving fried food until they quit selling alcohol. It is apparently the law in the City.I know many dont and I will say that they are in different areas of the valley.But it was very good and I dont mind the price either. We had a great time with our friends and they sang karaoke .I definitely will be back from time to time.

To be quite honest I have lived within walking distance of this place for a number of years and I really didn’t think about stopping by. Due to recent issues at the place I have gone to for years, circumstances beyond my control, I have been taking up space here and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. The staff are always friendly, the food is delicious and prepared quickly. The entire experiences I have been having here is definitely worth stopping by for at least a drink or say five.

Great place to go and have fun any day of the week, staff is friendly and it just feels like everyone knows everyone in there... we are definitely making it one of our regular places to go for a drink

The bar is dimly lit. The atmosphere is not welcoming unless you are a local. Also, a place I would go with someone, but not solo. That said, I have been to this bar multiple times and will go back. This is just my honest review.

5 stars, in my opinion! This is a great dive bar with friendly regulars and prompt service. Smoking inside, 2 pool tables and karaoke every night of the week!

Bartender was nice, dj was great! Kind of a funky smell in building, parking is kind of scarce and awkward. Was not totally comfortable there.

Smoky, rowdy, often crowded. Wait staff is good and they bust their humps, but the drunks tend to get aggressive. Ive witnessed multiple arguments that became physical or nearly physical there.

Only had one beer, wanted to see the place. Nice crowd for karaoke.

Having smoking in the bar is one thing. Not making sure its well ventilated is unhealthy! Cant go back. I thought there was a law for this in Virginia.

Great place for a drink with friends. The food was good I just didnt like the smokey atmosphere but I knew that going in. Great place otherwise.

Best bartenders in Roanoke..... Good food cold beer at great prices for Roanoke...... $5 pool tournament every night with good shooters always 15-20 people in the pool tournament and they have multiple break and runs at the end of the tournament for 50 bucks each ball you make...... Great bar for pool players or buzzed people that try to sing/(also every night)

The is a hole in the wall if I have ever seen one. The food is mediocre bar food. While it is reasonably priced, I wouldnt expect too much out of it. The bar/resturaunt is rather small and it is one of the few places that still allow smoking inside so it makes it difficult to breathe. As far as the staff goes, they are friendly for the most part, however, the service could be a little quicker.

Probably my favorite place for drinks, fun, and karaoke. When not real busy, laid back and chill. When busy, the place is packed with a varied casual crowd of the young and old, beautiful and.... not so beautiful people. A place where everyone can be comfortable, meet and mingle.

I had a really nice time. Everyone was friendly. We ate some food and drank a few beers and even played in the pool tournament. The food was served hot but I had a blt and the bacon tasted a bit gamey. Only ate half because the bacon left a bad aftertaste.

Always a great night at the Fillin Station 7 nights a week. If your night here your missing out

Great bar tender! Prices reasonable. Just kinda a hole in the wall...but I liked it really. Not crowded...pool tables...drinks...what more do you need! Lol

June 9 ordered three burgers to go and a beer, took 45 minutes for the burgers, in the 45 minutes was never offered another beer got home and the orders were wrong! I will think twice about spending my money there again... just realized if youre not a regular you will wait for your order and your food

Great service, good food and drinks!! Wonderful and friendly place to shoot pool!! Pool tournament everyday at 9 pm depending on amount of people usually need to sign up by 8:30 if possible. $5 entry 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Walked in and was confronted by the security yelling not coming up in here without an ID, yall boys got ID. I understand he has a job to do but to yell it across the place and embarrass you is another. Will not return back here ever again. There is plenty of places to go on Williamson.

What a hole in the wall, literally. This is the classic old style bar/grill where you can eat, smoke, listen to music, and play pool at the same time. They even have karaoke playing. Not a horrible place as it was easy to strike up a conversation with some of the regulars.

Delicious fried chicken salad and even better homemade ranch dressing!

Can be different than most bars in roanoke. But must be open minded when its your 1st time.

Its a nice chill place for a beer or if you feeling heart breaks you can always talk to the bartender.

I tried to enter this establishment. The meathead bouncer said I did not match my id even though i had two forms of ID. Filling station two thumbs down. Only good if you have no dignity.

This is a second time in the bar and we sat at the bar we were served our drinks the bartender was very nice but after our first round we sat there for 15 minutes waiting and the other bartender cleared our drinks away without offering us another drink and the bar was not even full
