Its a wonderful place for walks and hikes. Just make sure that you wear shoes with a great grip because the gravel is very loose in some areas.

Great little park with a jogging and exercise stations. Grass for the kids to play on or to meditate.

Fun place to go for a quick walk or a small hike. Although this trail is not long its still lots of fun to climb and play on the rocks and feel the breeze while you look at the beautiful view of Riverside.

Nice place 4 my walks. Many trails 2 choose from. Some more difficult then others. One water fountain 2 drink from & a bench or two. I like it because there r very few people in this park. I use this park every other day. Nice park.

Other than the occasional graffiti this park is a little wild oasis in the city. Great for walking. No facilities available other than a few benches and a water fountain for you and the dog.

Challen Park is a hotspot for people that want to exercise quickly. It makes for a great cardio workout with its uphill slopes. Its also a great place to take a quick hike, reaching its top you get some pretty awesome views of Riverside.

Great small park to get in a quick exercise sesh in before beginning your day....i like to bring my two dogs here so they can get fresh air and exercise...i dont really recommend bringing kids because there isnt much for them to do other than walk so my daughter isnt too fond of coming with me (11 year old, maybe thats why lol). I recommend sunblock and a hat during the day since there isnt any shade anywhere other than the foothill of the trail....

It sucks there is some broken glass and that people graffiti the rocks and then they get painted and become slippery. But its a great short hike with awesome view and the rocks make for a great bench on top of the hill. Could use some shade. Or see if an artist would paint the rocks with rubbery paint and make the rocks on top in different colors.

Its an awesome place for hiking with your family and pets.

When I was younger I saw some paranormal thing on this hill. People in the 90s used to do animal sacrifices up here and someone poisoned the horses that where on this hill next to food 4 less when it was a Smiths things have surely changed I havent seen anything out of the crazy anymore

Ive been going to this park for a while now .. has a lot of good perks to it like the sights at the top but lately theres been more graffiti and the homeless situation has taken its toll there as well .. other than that decent people go there for the most part but youll find your wakjobs occasionally.. dont come alone at night

Its a good hike. But I went around and up a couple of times to get a good workout.

Used to be nice. Now theres beer bottles and garbage everywhere.

Cool hill with a nice trail surrounding it, but it loses its charm pretty quickly, and all the evidence of homeless folk sleeping there doesnt help. Climbing over to certain areas will reward you with a blast of the scent of urine. Worth going but really once is plenty.

Good place to walk small hills..But watch out for the snakes in the summer..

Great rural park with nice trails and grand views in the middle of the city. I used to run here in the late 1970s when NO homes existed, and still a good place for hill training.

I love our hikes here also the view is awesome.

City does a very poor job with the up keep/ maintenance in park, water fountains have not worked all summer which is terrible when I walk my dog there.
