I have never been there but as a local I feel like it is my duty to see this beautiful landmark in sunny so cal ... first time kinda nervous I’ll let y’all know how it goes

This is a quirky place and you can go to the fence at its base. Be careful as you must descend an embankment and there is no where to park.

Absolutely life changing. i just went there 5-8 minutes ago and its perhaps one of the best places ive been to in years. the cup is amazing, flawless even. i love. it.

So happy this wasnt torn down when the plant closed. My dad worked there as a Machine Adjuster from 1966 until the employees were greeted to a lock out in the early 2000s. Originally, this was Lily-Tulip paper and plastics (cups, straws, etc) and then was bought out and became Sweetheart. While it was Lily-Tulip, this cup would be painted with the design of new cups being printed. As a kid in the 1970s, that was a very cool sight to see!

If youre going to Riverside, and you like strange things... you have NO EXCUSE not to go see The Worlds Largest Paper Cup! Not that there is a fence, so you cant get super close. You have to just pull off the side of the road, which is easy to do. This isnt a roadside attraction that is going to take much time. There is no gift shop, museum or bathroom. Just a giant paper cup that was made when this was the now defunct Sweetheart Paper Cup Factory. So as long as you curve your expectations (and youre in Riverside)... you have to see it!ps... note that it doesnt have the stripes anymore.

There is absolutely no parking, ensuring that only those who are truly worthy will be able to make the quarter-mile journey from the nearest available lot. Not for the faint of heart, prepare to be filled with wonder: How did it get there? Who built it? What’s inside? Questions we will never know the answers to, as there is no signage. Just an ominous, gigantic cup standing tall and proud.Some people assert that it is actually made out of concrete and stucco and, therefore, is not a paper cup. Some people have no imagination. Don’t listen to those dream-killers.

I was born and raised in Riverside moved though but why have I never heard of this giant paper cup? Maybe I will see it when I go visit in July!!

If youre on a trip to self discovery, this cup will give you the answers you need. 7/10. Already recommended it to a friend and he said no. Will probably never go see again.

Very cool late night spot to haggle with the transient folk. If you listen very carefully you can hear sea shanties coming from inside it.

I used to drive aimlessly around the 951, looking for something remarkable to show my mother. She was in town to visit me and on a relentless search for caffeine, we came across this gigantic eye sore.

Not anything to go out of your way for. No parking, just something to see as you drive by.

Hilarious! I cant believe we drove all the way out here to see this! But its so funny we have been talking about it all day.

Was good until i saw a hand come out of the cup, was an odd art choice.

Not worth going to. Not much of a tourist attraction...There is no where to park and the road near it is too dangerous to pull over. We found a parking lot, but a security guard was rude and told us to leave the area near the cup. We drove here to see it and left very disappointed.

This landmark was used as the symbol for Lily Tulip cups...My Mother worked for this company...I dont know if they still decorate it or not but as a child it was a sight to see...

One must channel their inner Huell Howser to truly appreciate the greatness that is the Worlds Largest Paper Cup. The history behind it, is as quirky as the landmark. A short side trip here will have you saying Thats AMAZING!
