4 stars for facilities / 0 stars for management and customer service- upper pool was closed for repairs 5-6 weeks out of season for the last 3 years. Which appears to be an ongoing issue with the water pump. I cant tell if that was an issue before because we joined 3 years ago, but I am puzzled why it keeps happening- with Covid this year management failed to ensure ALL member could enjoy pool equally. 1 hour per day reservation policy was not enforced, allowed folks to make reservations for entire season resulting in multiple no shows- restriction and poor management and rule enforcement resulted in our family of 5 not being able to attend even once this season. Management did not reimburse any of $$We will be taking our membership fee of $800 somewhere else. Strongly recommend to NOT use this place.

This pool is so nostalgic with many generations of family members. I love the old school feel with updated look. It has three separate pools that divide toddlers, kiddos, and adults, tennis courts, beach volleyball, and many fun activities. Float Night is the best. And we love the Tsunami Snack Shack!!

I have been a member since I was 5 and now I’m raising my children here. It’s a great Club, a great community and we have wonderful summers here. The baby pool is heaven! My older boy loves playing tennis and swimming on the swim team! We love 3Chopt!

Best all around for family fun and social events! Great people, multiple pools, 3 sand volleyball courts, snack bar or bring in your own food and drinks, large pavilions for parties, basketball, awesome tennis program and Monica the Pro is amazing, lighted courts, swim team, water aerobics, adult pool, slides, diving boards and team, loads of tennis! What else can you ask for!

The Pools and tennis courts are very nice and also has a snack bar. They have many chairs and chaise lounges to enjoy being around the pools. There are 2 full size pools and the upper pool is primarily used as an adult pool and jumping and diving at other end.There is also a nice children’s pool for young children and in the lower pool has a slide.If interested in joining a neighborhood pool, you should check it out. I believe it is good value.

Went as a guest with my family. We mostly stayed in the baby/toddler area. Great toddler pool with 1 ft and 2 ft areas separated. There was a basket of toys kids could take in the pools. My daughter loved the water jets that spray from the sides (sort of like a fountain). The bathrooms need some work but otherwise we had a great time.

Nice setting nice staff lots of chairs several pool options from kiddie to adult pool. Beach volleyball tennis consesions and showers.

Im a former member of Three Chopt Pool from 97 to 03. I was able to make it to their open house, open to the public swim on Saturday. It doesnt look any different other than the slides and the wading pools.The staff is A-1 on courtesy. Every employee and staff member acknowledged me at the open house with a sincere greeting.I was unfamiliar with the snack bar. I got a snow cone and it turned out to be ice cubes with flavored syrup, similar to a Sonic Drive In (just with the snow cone type)I was able to take pictures freely. Some other pools Ive been to in Richmond frown upon my selfies. No problems here.I even tried The Dank Eats Food Truck while it was there for the open house event. My review for the food truck continues here: The prices compared to the food I received was outrageousness.I got a medium sized fries with Old Bay Seasoning and chipotle sauce in a cup.For the outstanding price of $7.50???I was thinking I was going to be getting a loaded fry with a variety of toppings.I felt swindled to be honest. Id much rather take McDonalds Fries or Wendys Fries any day over Dank Eats. Ive nicknamed them Dank Swindlers. The Chipotle Sauce on the side without any other toppings just took away the fries taste overall.Ill take The Three Chopt Snack Bar for The Win!

We were pool members for 2 summers and will not be renewing. The baby pool, the reason we joined, was filthy almost every morning/day and Id have to beg for someone to clean it. I was told on several occasions it was not priority due to short staff. Not acceptable. When I emailed the association, there was no apology given, just a we will try to do better and it was not ever better.
