Went to a wedding. The space was very nice and there was ample parking. If you need an event place, check here first.

Attended a graduation party at Bon Air rec. The acommodations were great, the clean up was excellent. Recommend anyone giving a small (50-100 guests) party to give it a go. Loved the space.

We have been going to Bon Air off an on for 20 years. Alsways a great experience and especially now during the COVID-19 health crisis. Great measures put in place by thoughtful board members that make for a fun experience for everyone.

Fantastic community association for families. Clean, well maintained, and allows outside food and beverages. The folks who volunteer to run the facility care about it so much, and it shows!

New member and very happy with it so far. Despite the negative and essentially incorrect review, the lifeguards werent whistle-happy and the environment was completely fun and laid back. You can bring your own alcohol too. Very nice to have a baby pool, kid-centric pool, and then a large lap pool and deep end/diving section. I dont play tennis but the courts looked good to me.

Quiet, super clean community pool. If youre looking for a significantly less crowded alternative to Granite, this is absolutely the place to go. Very friendly people here, and you can always find a seat and/or table at any time of day.

This is a nice diamond in the rough. Doesnt really come up with general venue searching, but has nice potential as a wedding venue location. Price is great for the amount of people it can accomodate. Also, Bruce has a a great personality and would be fun to work with.

An OK spot if you want to be around a bunch of people on edge and a bunch of trigger happy life guards who seemingly have no idea how annoying it is to hear a whistle every 5 minutes. Be prepared to read a Bible of rules and pay money to be told what youre not allowed to do.If youre looking for a more lively atmosphere and laid back mentality, go to Woodmont where youre welcome to bring in your own alcohol and have fun responsibility

What a nice environment to bring kids to the pool and play tennis. The members are very friendly to new members. The tennis is laid back and welcomes new players at all levels. Lots of socializing around the courts.

Only been here for swim meets, which are huge busy affairs, but I would say its a nice size for a little neighborhood pool. The parking lot has a weird one-way flow to it, but again, thats important only when its stuffed to the gills with swim meet cars.

Its a humble center that doesnt disrupt the surrounding environment. Its painted a pleasant light sunshine color & has athletic courts that are comfortable, shaded by surrounding woods & in keeping with Old Bon Air. Oddly, some foolish group went across the street & removed the topsoil, Ladyslippers, blueberry bushes, white Dogwood & other old world plants or shrubs from the small humble property of the Hazen Memorial Library. Hope that stupid mentality doesnt spread. Grass is a mono culture & has nothing to do with Old Bon Air. Cows need it & sheep. The bushes are not native plants & the property needs watering, fertilizing & tending now. Keep Bon Air Beautiful IS the natural, protected, shaded, non-watered, native plants of the BACC/BACA. Its NOT the re-done, artificial, costly property of the Hazen Memorial Library across the street. Go visit BACA grounds. Humble, doesnt absorb & reflect back intense summer heat, good place to belong or join, refreshingly humble, family friendly & cool on hot days. Its one of the few largely natural areas left thanks to St. Michaels woods & the railroad.
