Ive now seen three plays by Cadence Theatre, Rabbit Hole, Fun Home, and Appropriate. Each one has dealt with serious, real-world topics, both emotional and physical, that many times lack the space in our daily life for reflection. The Director of Cadence Theatre, Anna Johnsons dedication to using the theatre to create dialogue around the hard stuff is a gift to Richmond. Ive not only found it a place for my own reflection, but a way to bring relevance to conversations I need to be having with my family, including tween and teen. Thank you Anna and Cadence Theatre for doing this much needed, good work! Cant wait to see whats next!!
