This place is huge, and almost always open. There are smaller studios in the back. Excellent parking. Every type of dance you could ever want to learn is offered here. And whoever is at the entrance is always seem welcoming, no matter if youre a beginner.

Normally they stay open for Tango dancing until 12 am so 120 dancers were told not to dance and go home at 10:30 at Thursday night Milonga. I liked the dj Judy but why they close early makes no sense.

Fun, Joyful, Exciding, soulful and such a great mix of great people to enjoy an evening of dance with.

I attended the Milonga de Nora on the second Saturday of the month at the new site of Allegro in Richmond.This is definitely not a place to go if you are a follower and dont have a parthner. Most of the dancers are already paired or they know each other and dance only among themselves. I am not a very advanced dancer, but definitely not a beginner and I was in a complete isolation for hours. They would pass by completely ignoring you and you can sit and sit until death without getting a dance.It was a very boring and sad experience. This is the closest I ever came to experience invisability. Toward the end somebody noticed I was agonizing and said: Oh, I am so sorry, but maybe next time. But there would be no next time for me. And I would strongly advise you as well to stay away from this snobbish dance event unless you are snobbish yourself.

What a magical place! The instructors are fabulous, and the weekend parties are a ton of fun. If you are looking to try something new, either as a single or couple, this is a great spot to try.

I was vacationing in the bay area and took salsa classes for the first time. So much fun! The instructors were amazing.

Possibly the best place for dancing in the bay area, as they have at least four dance floors, so on any weekend night you can do Ballroom, Latin, Argentine, and Kizomba. Parking is challenging if you come late.

Great place for Salsa dance on Sunday night. But the instructors were just ok.

One star for charging my boyfriends 12 y.o son entry fee just to sit there do nothing on Sunday tea dance. We had to bring him along so we can dance. We are the regular dancers in Allegro. The young Chinese guy made us pay for 3 admissions for 2dancers. He said this is a business. Well, I thought Allegro is non-profit. Money hungry bastard.
