Lovely place, not much to see but worth the stop if you love history
Nice little piece of the Seven Days battles. Just off the very busy Mechanicsville Turnpike and not far from. HWY64 is Chickahominy Bluff. Pull off the turnpike and you are in a quiet wooded area where there are still field works. An overlooked part of the Richmond national park system and significant where Lee started his Seven Days drive.
Its just a quick stop but great to have as a historical location with an information board.
Great time on a beautiful day.
Needs better trail signage.
Its a nice quiet spot to sit and chill Ill take a walk
Very peaceful
Peaceful Park to relax and get ur thoughts together
Small park, quiet. Historical view of Chickahominy River basin and informative placards. Original earthworks built during the war are still there.
Small but the kids enjoyed it
Cute quick stop. Nothing big. Good start for 7 days.
One of my favorite neighborhoods. Very quiet, clean, and family friendly.
Nicely maintained. Has an electronic narration that tells the story of the battles in this area. Not much to see and much of it is off limits for walking through, though the berms and trenches appear to be well preserved.
Love this community(most of)the staff on site is very helpful.
Good information on VA History!
Great to be where history was made.
I was hoping there is going to be hiking trails little disappointing. But the history lessons was interesting
Very small park with a few good places to relax, great parking
Cool place to see earthworks defenses from the Civil War.
Beautiful Place!!!
Great
