I had the best experience here! It’s an amazing attraction for families and friends. Honestly, I wasn’t a golf lover till I came here.The entire area is large and spacious, with brilliant views no matter what floor you’re playing from. The service by staff members was excellent and they were all cordial. There is always assistance nearby, for your needs.I had an awesome time with my family and their food is also splendid. I had their spicy wings and pizza which both tasted so good that we had to order more! You can eat while playing golf at the same time at your designated area for playing. In fact, there is also a cafe and restaurant on the ground floor if you want to have a proper dinner after a tiring game. How convenient!The place is safe on the top floors too which I really liked. The ambience is nice and indoors the temperature is kept sufficiently cool during the summer time. What I loved at the end was the reasonable pricing. You’re getting good quality food and sports with your family all in one place.Would definitely recommend to everyone especially tourists!

3rd time here and always have a great experience. Food is pretty good, service is usually pretty quick, but a little slower today. Games seemed to be a little slow to register today and had to adjust scores a few time. Same thing with the virtual courses.. least when it came to putting. Most of the patios and such were closed, maybe due to covid, but there are a lot of areas to hang. Havent tried the Putt Hutt course yet, but it looks really nice. Each level does have a bar area. I prefer the 3rd level myself. Lots of big TV to watch sports. Plenty of monitors in your bay to see how you are playing. Lots of fun, great place to have an outing or get together.

The food was absolutely amazing! The place itself was great they had heaters everywhere to keep you quite comfortable. The customer service was also amazing, not only was the service fast but they respected you! Overall a great experience and a great choice for a family outing, birthday party, or just for fun!

Great place to go for a fun afternoon with family and/or friends. We were there 2 hours and really appreciated how clean and sanitary everything was. The staff was amazing and so were the food and drinks. This was our first time going, but well definitely be back!

I don’t have much time left. I explained that to the management. They disregarded it. I got there at 5:45 and waited to play, bought food and had some drinks and I asked again and they told me 30 minutes about 3 times. It’s 7:49pm and I just left because I have to get to an appointment. Would not recommend.

Good experience. Little pricey, but definitely worth it!!!! Some of the ball tracking technology is out of this world. Plus the clubs that they provided were actually pretty good (I brought my own clubs but I was pleasantly surprised).

Balls are like rocks because of sensors located inside. Tees too low for drivers and space is tight. Cool atmosphere. Fun place to socialize with friends.

One of the biggest issues I had with Top Golf was the crazy wait times, but here in COVID Richmond, walked right in and got a bay. Food is a little on the pricey side for the quantity and quality, but the golf games and technology is amazing. Get a one star gig for not having a full slate of NFL games on the screens. In my opinion, Top Golf is like a huge sports bar where you can swing your clubs too, they have to get the Sunday Ticket so they can show all the games on Sunday.

This place is such a blast! My fiancée and I went with another couple and we booked a 2 hour slit to begin with and it was the perfect amount of time for food, drinks, and a few games of fun! We will definitely be coming back. Thanks top golf!!!

Fun place for all skill levels of golf. The areas are sanitized after each play including the golf clubs. You dont have to be a season player to enjoy. If you never been here, I highly encourage you to come and spend a great time with family or friends. The night time offers a light show sync with the music. The afternoons are more quiet. Choose your style and enjoy!

Great option to do something different with a group of friends. Even in cold weather the “lanes” are heated. Great drinks selection. There is a bar on every level. The game itself it’s fun. Even if you have never played golf in your life; it is a lot of fun to just hit the ball. It is designed to set up multiple games so you don’t need particular skills to play it. In the end it is just about hanging out with your friends but if you want to take it seriously there are multiple options in the system. Great food and plenty of parking.

It was my first time at a top golf and it was so fun! We were on the third floor and being scared of heights I asked if we could move to the second floor after our first game. Everyone was super accommodating and let us move downstairs and made it super easy! We had a great time!

Awesome! Youll spend some money but this place is a great spot for team building, family fun or just some time away by yourself. Always attentive staff, tons of different game modes, gobs of food options. Not sure what else you could want.

Ryan Cahill, a manager, wasn’t very informative when my party had a problem. My bay host, Will, was very well informed and tried to be as helpful as possible, unfortunately we didn’t get much directive from the manager as we had hoped. The bay hosts on the floor were amazing and we hope the managers can improve on the hospitality. XO.

Definitely need to explore better options for answering services. Called twice and sat through all the automated recording and chose the options I needed only to get to the end and be hung up on.

Waited a very long time for a spot. They said that the patio was closed, but when we came down from our games, there were people sitting at the tables. So I wonder why they had it closed while we were waiting?Our waitress was helpful & nice. But that 35 minute wait was long & hot. I definitely recommend that you make reservations.

Birthday Party for 14 yrs old boy.Started on Top floor of 3 floors. Each floor is an outside Driving range reminds me of Bowling Lanes set up. There is also Mini Golf.We are not golfers aside from Putt Putt and we had a blast.Party buffet was sliders, chicken tenders, mini hotdogs, fruit, and tater tots.

I really enjoyed my visit. Service was amzing. The pricesbwas great also.

Long wait. Horrible food. Nice waiter. Awful drinks. Clubs are in bad shape. There’s a gas smell coming from the heater or something that gave us all headaches. The fans are so loud that you can’t hear anyone talk. Drive shack is 1000x better.

Went in for my first time with my family for a birthday and our hosts name was Ner she was absolutely amazing!! Took such amazing care of us and had such a great personality! Definitely made our first experience the best. Will be back next weekend!! For anyone looking to go ask for Ner!!

The first experience was awesome!! Don’t visit if you have a party over 6 with toddlers because you’re going to have to have an extra bag and rotate out into the other with the toddler!! We were hounded the entire time and everyone who cane out for my birthday couldn’t even stand around to sing happy birthday!! Horrible experience!! If this is the option to reopen they should stay closed until there’s a handle on COVID!! Our server did her best to ease the hassle but the manager needs a little more training on how to handle specific scenarios! Many of my guest stated this was a one and done experience!

Was having a really good experience up until the very end, within maybe 30 seconds of our game ending, we were approached by the staff asking is to leave our lane when we still had food in our table. Highly doubt thats a way to treat your customers.

No one would answer the phone through the phone tree; just wanted to see how busy they were. Talking to a live person shouldn’t be this hard.

We had an amazing time here tonight! The service was amazing! Garry was our host, and he was so great! We played for a couple of hours and had dinner. The drinks were awesome, and food was good overall too. My salad was initially overdressed, but they brought me a replacement as soon as I mentioned it to the server. They were really accommodating with allergies too. The games were fun, even for beginners like us. It seems like it would be great for all ages! Well definitely be coming back!

Buffalo dip was sour and workers were very aggressive that our masks were not worn correctly when going to the restroom.Served appetizers with no silverware or side plates.

We went there for the mini golf around 3PM on a Saturday. FYI their golf was so busy there was around a 3 hr wait time. It is $8.50 a person for the mini golf and a bit cheaper for kids.The weather was surprisingly warm for December, and the employee was friendly and helpful. They didn’t have the numbers set up yet that’s how new their mini golf is. Min golf course consists of fake grass and sand in a snake shaped oval.The course isn’t big, but it took some time to go through it because there were people ahead of us. I like that they had benches throughout so you can put your drinks, food, stuff etc down while you play. A simple but fun mini golf course.

Great brand new venue. Huge staff eager to help. The thing is, when you go to the bar they take a while to set up your tab before getting you a drink. It would be nice to have a drink in hand while theyre doing that. Its pretty customary to serve first and pay second. Also, our hitting bay machine malfunctioned and we waited 20 minutes while maintenance fixed it. The bay next to us was open. How about offering to move us, considering were paying by the hour to play? These are minor complaints, because overall we had a blast, but things like this would make a good experience even better.

Great place to hang out with friends and family. Nice and clean playing area. Be aware that you need to get a $5 membership the first time you play. You can also upgrade to a VIP membership for $100-$300/month (if thats your cup of tea).A good variety of games to choose from.Pretty terrible food, did not have high hopes to start with but thr chips and salsa was pretty bad.The worst was the hard liquor, the Kentucky Mule I ordered had basically water and ginger beer with not even a hint of bourbon. When asked to have it replaced, I was informed that it would be an additional charge to get another ‘shot’. $10 for small steel cup of ginger beer smh.Great service from the people though.Still worth going as long as you are careful with your food and beverage options.

It was a ton of fun. If you have never gone to a driving range it feels daunting. But it is quite fun. It is partially outside so if it is cold outside wear a coat youll need it.

Spontaneous trips are always fun. We drove an hr just to play some golf and was totally worth the trip. The sensors here are not as good as other locations I have been to, so you may have to adjust your score at times even when you sink a whole-in-one. Other than that, definitely worth the trip!

Pro-The chef name Charles was wonderful, he came and talked to us about our the food menu since our daughter has a lot food allergies. He was very patient and thorough. Great selection on food and drinks. Servers were not bad.Con- each player had to sign up a $5 membership in order play so it is different from Drive Shack.Also the person helped us set up was not very patience, came to us three times and said if we dont start then we will loose our bay even while my wife and daughter were talking to the nice chef to figure what could she eat on the menu. It was not like we just sit there doing nothing, we were trying to order our food. She also came back 15 minutes before our end time and asked to wait while working on the monitor and we did not like the interruption at all. We did not have that problem with Drive Shack, all you have to do was sign in and play and click extent time or not. A lot easier.

I had some time to kill yesterday and stopped into this place because I heard a lot of wonderful things about it in Forbes.The technology is top-class and this place is a lot of fun. There was some corporate parties going on there and I could tell they were having a great time. Also the staff seem to truly love what they were doing and I enjoyed being helped by them. It was my first time and the host at the front door was happy to show me around. I got a membership and I am definitely going back!!

HAPPY PLACE. Me and the hubby love this spot. Always leave smiling, full, and a phone full of memories (I.G post). Food is tasty and drinks are reasonable. Try it out for yourself, you wont be disappointed

Such a fun experience! Harder than it looks at first but you can quickly get the hang of it!

Probably a lot of fun for non actual golfers. The balls are dead so therefore the stats wont help you in real life. All you need to be good at is being consistent with one target to win the flagship game. Its ok but its a gimmick once you have played the real game. Nice facility.

Great facility! The staff is very friendly and energetic, from the host when you first walk in to the management. Been 3 times since it opened; work event, date night and family outing, the service and experience blew me away each time. Thank you!

We had sooo much fun on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

It was New Year’s Eve, we had a 45 min wait to tee off, so we went to the putt putt golf course and played a round of 14 holes it was so real.Then returned to our tee off time and our booth was ready and had a great 1.5 hours of food fellowship and fun with my wife.

Its a very cool place to have fun with family and friends. The food was nice servers were attentive, facility was nicely designed. Only wish they had something else to do while waiting for hours to play like an arcade or something.

After waiting 2 1/2 hours for our bey, the service was below par. They must give the servers too many tables to take care of because it took 20 mins for the 8 of us to get all of our drinks we ordered, and some of the appetizers even came out before we got all of our drinks. Our server was nice, but in the middle of taking our order he walked away to the table next to us to help with them something.Should probably hire more efficient/or more bartenders, and servers so they can handle their sections and give better customer service.For the amount of money you spend when you go here because their prices are higher, you would think when you do speak to a manager (I’m assuming she was) about what was going on she would’ve done something about it all, but instead gives me a look of okay andddd? Rude.

Went with a group from work. Was a lot of fun. I have zero experience with golf or hitting golf balls. I did well. Highly encouraged. Support team was very helpful with the directions and how tos.

I was here Friday night and ended up having a great night. Our host name was Lizz and she was great. She gave us great personality and with a smile. She made sure our glasses and stomach stayed full while still maintaining her other guest around us. She even made time to answer any of the questions we had to ask. I would highly recommend Lizz to anyone that goes to this location.

Great little place to relieve stress! I did a few games here and had a bunch of fun trying to get those targets.This place is huge, and has some great deals on games certain days of the week.The one thing I didnt like was the excessive number of visits from several staff asking if we were okay, then are you still okay, do you need anything, are you still okay... etc... not just our server, but 3 different people came by all asking the same things repeatedly in our hour and a half... having good customer service is important but over-doing it can be intrusive too and super annoying)There seemed to be at least 5 too many workers on our floor for the middle of the day. They looked bored and were just standing around huddled up talking. I imagine this is why we had so many visits.The menu: I ordered fries and spinach artichoke dip & chips. The dip n chips were good, a lil pricey- but atleast good and the fries were way overpriced.... It was $4 for what would equal a medium fry at any random fast food place.I would absolutely go back with a group, just hope we wont have so many interruptions with the workers next time and I may have to eat before I go.

Bartending service was horrendous. My friend and I waited patiently at the bar to be served, and were deliberately ignored by Isaac and Michael while they handled orders taken by people who arrived way after us. They should be immediately trained on customer service and etiquette.

Topgolf is so fun! Really nice staff and atmosphere. I recommend making a reservation ahead of time if you go on the weekends or you may have to wait for a bay to open up.

Went for our sons 13th birthday, or server was wonderful and we had a great time! 1/2 price on Tuesdays, cant beat it! Definitely going back for an adult night:)

Great to finally have a TopGolf here in RVA. Went over for a Walk through earlier this week and they have done an amazing job getting that place together. It is a little smaller than some of the other locations Ive been to but they make up for it with the extra amenities like the swing suite and the mini golf(coming soon). The customer service is awesome. Dana the Platinum Sales manager is super professional and very knowledgeable. Im looking forward to enjoying TopGolf in my home city for years to come.

The time slots for playing golf are a bit expensive but a very fun place friendly staff and always a great time!

Visited for the first time today(1/12/2020). Nice place full of energy. I decided to visit the bar and watch football. After about 10 minutes and no service I left because only 3 at the bar and 3 behind the bar....

A very fun place for a night out. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The games are easily enjoyable for all people, not just golfers.

Horrible Service. Walked in at 6pm was told the wait is only 15-30 mins. Been here hour and a half, and got bumped up to “Priority List” but still no bay. Granted it’s Saturday Evening, but there has to be a better way to give an ETA. Will be giving Drive Shack a shot!

Loved my first visit to Top Golf. I prefer this location over the Drive Shack location it feels more adult friendly. As a golfer, I think it is better too, they track ball speed and specifics to your shot which I enjoy keeping track of.

Went today for a company sponsored event. The service was gracious and timely, they ensured me and my coworkers had everything we needed and understood everything, so that we had a great time. The food was delicious and promptly served, our hostess Holly was awesome. Would definitely recommend this place for a group that wants to have fun, you dont need know / enjoy a lick about Golf in order to enjoy Top Golf!

Was excited to visit the new Topgolf in Richmond. Opening day! Toured all 3 levels, hit for 1 hour. Food and beverages are priced reasonably. Food is fresh and delicious. TV acreens tell you all pertinent info. They provide clubs if you dont have any, included. My hostess is Ro and she is awesome. In fact everyone is friendly and helpful. Manager Addison listenend to my comments and suggestions.A great place for groups and friends. Mini golf coming lata and live music on weekends.Enjoy!Hat

After attending Drive Shack and Topgolf in back to back weeks, I must say that Topgolf is not even in the same league as its competitor. The staff was overall very inattentive and just did not seem capable of providing an acceptable level of service. The golf experience was mediocre at best as it doesnt offer the same level of entertainment with the added games that Drive Shack has. A very unfortunate first and probably last visit to this place. Oh well!

Had an absolute blast! The hospitality and service was excellent even with a packed house on opening weekend! Michael (waiter) was fantastic and Brock (hospitality manager) hooked us up with a great time! Will certainly be returning.

Had my watch stolen by the bay host. Cant track it because they did a factory data reset. Dont forget any of your belongings because you wont get them back.

Went this past weekend for my bday. Not really the best $200+ I ever spent.$40 for a reservation I still ended up waiting on when I arrived.$65 for gameplay that wasn’t that fun. Nor were we able to get much insight from the staff about the games. They seem to just rinse and repeat.$5 per person PRICE GOUGE to “register.”We paid well over $100 before we even sat down to play or eat any food. The price doesn’t equal the experience. Worst bday outing ever.

A fun game of top golf with a couple of beers and tgs best sliders that Id had in long time, Tuesday is the best day to go as its cheaper to play . Lots of different golf games to play using the interactive screens and a great way to smash golf balls from the elevated decks

Terrible service. Went there for college night and got no explanation on how to play, was just told to take turns and stay behind the red line. Ordered a scotch neat and they forgot to give me my drink, then gave it on the rocks. Managing to get any food or beverages was a mess and members who came with us but didnt want to golf were still charged cover and not told until they went to leave.

Had a blast here to celebrate my nephews birthday! Great service and awesome entertain.

I knew it was bad but not this bad. I’ll start with the good. Food was average and our server was great. Now for the bad. The clubs feel cheap and thick, the tracking is very outdated. I played one of the virtual courses and I didn’t track my ball 6 times on the same shot, plus the graphics look terrible. I’ve been to Drive Shack multiple times and top golf doesn’t come close to their level of excellence. If you don’t believe me then I challenge you to try out both.
