I really appreciate how Scott at the pro shop took care of me! I have an old friend traveling into town on a golf outing we planned last second, (my friend has 4 daughters to deal with so getting him is not easy). Scott was extremely understanding and was able to get us in so we could play 36 holes, it really means a lot to me personally and Ive been talking up the course to my friend for the last few months. A forgiving course, great price point, in great shape, and the staff assisting in making this happen makes all the difference. Thanks a ton Scott, I really really appreciate it!

Great course. Perfect weather.

Hard to beat for a public muni. Long course for the average golfer. Not the quickest greens, but typically in good condition. Soft greens so pins can be attacked.Water table stays high for the whole park complex so most months it does have some wet spots. Whatever the wind is when you set off for your round, add 10mph at the course.Outstanding staff. Jr clinics are first rate. Gibson Bay is worth your time.

Played in the Kentucky Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation scramble today. The staff and grounds crew are great!! Everyone does such a great job. Have played here every since it opened. It rained on us, poured at times, on and off. They still let us have the scramble! Cart path only of course. Such a worthy cause. Thank you Gibson Bay !!Go play the course...you will not be disappointed!!

Course is in great shape. We rode the Finn Scooters today. Jason was great helping us get the app and providing instructions. Its was so much fun- highly recommended you check it out!

Way over scheduled. Don’t make tee times for 30 golfers because then everyone is backed up. No one likes waiting and no one likes playing while others are waiting. On top of that, signs ask to rake traps and such when there are no rakes. Bugs are everywhere. Not sure why the course has good reviews, but it shouldn’t.

For March 9th course was in great shape. Tee boxes nice and green, fairways nice and green. The greens had just been punched but still rolled very good! Cart path was also in good shape!They could improve the grass around the greens if I had to pick something to complain about.$18.50 for 9 and a cart twilight rate so not a horrible price!

Course is in great shape these days. Tee times being spaced out make it a better experience. No waiting.

The course is alright but the customer service is terrible. Used my Edwin Watts golf card to play, got rained out on hole 4 and they only gave me a $21 credit while the others in my group received $31 because they paid cash.

Good days and bad days at this course. Always in great shape and staff is awesome. Definitely one of the best maintained courses in the area. Also recommend Cherry Blossom and The Bull at Boones Trace. Hard to beat GB for the price and quality of the course!

Was just driving through and Google it. Super nice staff. The course greens were excellent in February and it drain fast. We plan on returning and I would recommend for any Golf level. We were greeted by Jason, the Head Golf Pro, and they treated us great. I like to try new courses and really appreciate their kindness.

First let me say that the review score has absolutely nothing to do with the course itself or the staff. The course is great and the staff has always been very friendly. With that said I will never play here again. I play this course 3-4 times a week and it’s always the same. This weekend was my breaking point. Yesterday, there was a twosome on a cart that literally held up a walking twosome on the back nine. It took almost two and a half hours to play nine holes. Fast forward to today, once again nothing but slow play. Walking twosome in front of me would not give me the opportunity to play through. Finally on number 7 I let them tee off and went past them and played 8. It’s absolutely ridiculous that the people who play here feel like they own the course and hold everyone up. I would rather drive further and pay more than to feel the absolute frustration I feel every single time I play here. It’s a shame because the staff are super friendly and the course is beautiful but they need someone on the course to keep these people in line. I get it. Take your time. But if you are going walk, let riders through. If you are playing slow enough on a cart to hold up people walking, for the love of golf let people play through. If your on a cart holding up people walking then something is very very wrong.

Amazing wonderful course that will challenge every aspect of your game. Highly recommended and best of luck on the 605 yard par 5 hole number 14, if I didnt make a 318 drive and catch an amazing 3 Fairway wood shot at 284 I would have never made my birdie shot, yes I two putted it should have a handicap for that hole as a 0 or negative because it challenges all those that attempt it . 30 minutes or less from Lexington, ky right in Richmond best of luck to you all

A great place for all levels of golfers. The staff are always great, the course sets itself apart with difficulty and the level of maintenance they give it. I am somewhat new to the golf game but this course is by far the best within a couple hours radius in my opinion. It is also the best course for the money, many others cost more and dont have the same level of care to their course.

Tough track from the men tees ( thats the tips)... Normally always in great shape... Solid pro shop n restaurant good too

Course is fun Would have gave it a 5 star but the course was not in as good of shape as the past years

Was part of a group of eight golfers from Cincy who came down to Richmond to play GB and we were impressed and will play it every year on our yearly trip to the area. Staff was very accommodating and friendly and the course was in fantastic shape. The greens were in top condition, smooth and fast and not riddled with unrepaired ball marks. GB is well worth the 37 bucks youll pay...and youll also have refreshments on the course. It was a great experience and well see you again on our next trip to the area.

I dont understand the driving range. One day I called to see if they were still open. A guy answered the phone and said, yes, we are. Well be here for 25 more mins. Well, i left work and head that way. Just wanting to hit a few balls. 8 mins later when I get there, the guy closes the door and says sorry, were closed. It states on google that theyre open till 8:00P.M. So, whatever. I leave. I go back again and its 7:30pm. The back door is open and 13 people are hitting balls. I walk up to buy a bucket and 2 guys are standing out front talking and tell me they arent selling anymore balls. He said its going to be dark in 10 mins. I dont care. You dont close till 8 so sell me a bucket of balls. If I wantes to sit out here and hit balls till midnight, thats my business. If you close at 8, close at 8. If you arent going to work the correct business hours, change your hours. Its not that hard.
