I absolutely love this shop and the other across town. The workers have always been up beat, willing and ready to help when needed. If they do not have what I need in there shop, they always direct me to the online shop. If you do not know how to work things, They will take the time to show you. And they do not allow you to buy items that do not go together. Just wish they would have clothing that fit women at least up to 8X. Im a 4X and can never find things I like to fit comfortably.

Very frustrated.I recently made a purchase here and found out the day after I had gotten the wrong product and subsequently discovered that no toy can be returned under any circumstances. I understand that is entirely my fault, and I understand the general reasoning for that policy, but it really frustrates me when a customer service rep. says something akin to, theres nothing we can do. Offering zero aid to a disgruntled customer is disheartening and leaves me feeling more foolish for having chose to help a local business instead of buying the same products on amazon for cheaper.

This TABOO is a relaxed placed, as well of the other two stores.

I have never left a review before but my experience at this store just frustrated me and made me so angry I had to. It was either write a review or I was going to confront the worker in front of everyone. I visited this shop this past Saturday. There was a tall Caucasian girl working and another girl who seemed to be mixed with curly hair. As soon as my girlfriend and I walked in the curly hair girl was putting some things together to the left. She greeted us with a nice smile and asked if we had any questions or if we did she could help. I walked further into the store near the register where the other woman was standing. I said “ hello, how are you” and the Caucasian woman didn’t even speak. Instead she frowned her face up. I didn’t pay it to much mind because I heard so much about the store and was excited to finally check it out. As soon as I went over to the first object she came behind me and pretended to be fixing stuff or w.e she was doing. I wanted to see if she was following me so I loved to the next room, sure enough she comes pretending to be touching more stuff. So I tried one more time and that’s when me and my girlfriend decided that she indeed was following us. Two white guys come in and she greets them with a huge smile. Then finally comes over and ask if she can help us. We replied and said no. This young lady was following us because we were African American. It honestly discussed me and I will never return, yet spend my money here. It’s 2020 and if your going to have racist people working in your store, and proudly showing it you just should have a business. I will never return and I will tell anyone who ask me about this place to never go.

This is my go to store for lingerie and sex toys after work, their lingerie selection is fantastic and my boyfriend agrees.

Wonderful store with staff that do their utmost to make you feel comfortableIve been going to this store since I moved into the nearby neighborhood and have never had a negative experience. The lovely employees will do anything they can to make you feel comfortable, as well as answer any questions you have. They are quick to find the answer if they dont know themselves and have great recommendations. It is so nice to find a store so accepting and so knowledgeable.

Just called the shop to ask if they sell Yoni eggs and was purposely hung up on. Then i called back and she got smart with me and said we dont sell brand name yoni eggs. Thats not even what i meant its the name of them. She didnt seem interested in helping me or anything. Said no and hung up. Wont be shopping here or bother to even come in. Rude staff. Dont put you number up if you dont take calls properly.

Great selection! Nice staff! Came across some cool items I didnt even know about.Theyre not cheap per se (hey, you get what you pay for). But I am very satisfied with my toys purchase.

I dont know how anyone can write a bad review about a sex toy shop. Who doesnt love love, or self love? Great selection, affordable prices. Incredible array of outfits, fetishwear/supplies, videos, devices, toys, and miscellaneous gifts. Knowledgeable staff and fitting rooms to boot! Best shoe selection aside from Southside location. Dancer discount is also helpful and appreciated. Love how current they are with toys and things are always kept in order :-)

This place rocks!! Ive been shopping here for a long time for their large selection of the kinkiest newiest state of the artiest toys and their killer DVD rental membership which a lot of people dont know about (for like 10 bux u get a year membership which lets u rent ANY DVD from their huuuge collection that has mostly any kinky genre u could think of for like 3.99 and u keep it for 3 i think yeah 3 whole days!) but this is my first review cause the customer service went all out maximum 10s across the board. The girls at the midlothian store went totally out of the way to help me return a defective item which is entirely unheard-of in the adult toy industry. They pulled my receipt which i didnt have from the computer, called the other locations to find another one of my toys with a box which i didnt have and had the broad st girls hold it for me until I got there. Even Steven exchange when I thought I would be eating the loss of a toy I hadnt even used yet. Okay thats my rant! Yay taboo! Unjack from the internet. Go there. Do it! Get off! No seriously get off the Internet and shop @ taboo.

This place has a complete and excellent line up of goods. The toy section is large and extensive with low end and very high end brands like lelo and shibari wands. The shape selection is varied. The bdsm section is very stocked. Manacles, spreader bars, electric toys, blindfolds, anal toys. Seriously, Im not sure I have ever seen an adult store with this much selection.Not much to say about the service. They smiled and greeted me when I walked in, were polite and speedy when I checked out. I didnt ask any questions but they were more than fine. All in all this is the sort of store I wish I had closer to where I live.

Has everything I need and the staff is awesome.
