The park is great for its size. There are $4 entry fees for children and adults, except under two years old and 62 and above have free entries. The location is little far from Central Reno, however, it could be nice get away from the city though still reasonably close to the city. There should have been more places for general people, as there are only few cabanas which could be reserved. Please see some pics more details about rules, fees and general information about the park. For children this is best, however not much for adults though.
Reasonably priced for no time limit and you can bring your own food and drinks in. There wasnt much shade. It would have been nice to have some trees or shade structures around especially since you are asked not to bring umbrellas or canopies, which is why i gave 4 stars. Other then that staff was friendly. Water seemed clean. Cool slides and plane attractions. I would go back again.
The Splash Park is located within North Valleys Regional Park. The park has a LOT of open space as well as both covered and uncovered picnic areas. Splash Park gives kids a place to cool down and scream their hearts out. The rest of the park offers a skate board area, baseball and soccer fields and plenty of wide open spaces to allow little ones (and adults) to run off any excess energy. This is just a fabulous park in the North Valleys area.
This place is so cute. Its a fantastic splash park and decently priced ($4 at time of this review) the pavilions are a bit pricey ($70 for 2.5 hours and entrance fee is not included). Usually better to visit earlier in the day (I think they open at 10) as the latter it is the hotter it is. They also have a small snack bar and a large family restroom available as well. Great spot. Cant wait to visit again.
I love this place. Its great for kids to have an all-day fun but you still have to be responsible for your kids. Knowing that it is in Reno I cannot believe they havent put it as an indoor water park 4 year-round fun.
This is a splash park, so no pools are anything like that. Its a great place to cool the kids off in the summer. Its also gated so if you have a runner its much harder for them to get away.
Its a great. Little park for kids up to about 14 years. Some of the fountains and sprayers dont work. The staff is nice and the park is regulated alright. Theres a bit of shade but it could use more for sure. For the price, Id definitely take my 2 year old there again. She has a blast
Very clean. They have some covered seating areas for a little extra if youre doing a party. The park is just big enough for the kids to have multiple hours of fun, and just small enough to see the entire park from your seat.
My kids loving spending time here. The slides and fountains are great fun! There is lots of grass and space. We like taking in lunch so we can hang out.
Place was great had nice shade tables. Kids had a great time. Good to know you can bring an ice chest. Just NO GLASS. Which is very smart
An awesome place to take the kids during the hot summer days. Not too many places in the North Valleys for kids to go but this place had it all. The can play in the water or they can just play at the park. A great theme too, going with the Air Race theme. The best thing about this town. Now they have it all, they really do. Thanks again.
Skate park is good. Happy theres another place for the kids to skate.
Kids love it here. Took them a couple of years ago and they tried most of the attractions. This time, all of the attractions and had a great time.
Great place for little kids. Can bring in your own food or can purchase there. Have showers and bathrooms. Its just great.
Great place to take your family in the north valleys! Shade available, some tables, grassy areas. Fun for everyone!
Everything seems so pricey for what is offered but i guess with inflation and all its a good deal. Clean place, need more shaded spots to sit.
Lots of fun for he kids with Greta prices I like to make it an all day thing so they can have a lot of fun
Kids have a great time with the fam.
Great for a family with three kids under 5. Facility is clean and super cheap!
This park is Huge. And really fun. Being from out if town it was awesome.
We love this park! My little one is just over 2 years old and has a blast every time. Loved it last year too but not as much. It gets a little rowdy sometimes but the staff is really good at keeping things going smooth. Ive had to intervene in a few instances but its a good experience overall every time.
The park itself is great. Be prepared to see some pretty trashy people there though.
A fun airplane themed splash pad park! $3 buys a lot of fun! Id say the ideal ages are 6 and under. Bring your own shade source though... The only shade are the cabanas which were all party reservations when we were there.
Great place to take the kids to cool off. Super clean and safe.
We always have the best time here! Good place to let the kiddos get wet in the summer!
Had fun. Kids love the park
Cool park and the kids had fun however the shaded spots get taken quickly, the family bathroom has spiders all over, and the sidewalks outside the splash pad has a lot of ants including red ants. Pest Control needs work here.
Very fun place to take the kids 4$ a person cant beat it over 60 spray jets and shaded areas and a snack shop
Its definitely a great place to go with your kiddos especially if they are under the age of 10. Small area (cant lose them too easily) no Deep Ends of pools to worry about. It is nice and clean and the staff is great. If you want shade you need to either get there early to snag a table or bring an umbrella.
Bring sunscreen and make sure you do not wear a cotton shirt! The staff is friendly unless you forget and wear a cotton shirt. They do have a small snack stand that is nice. Our kids liked it for about an hour. We have three aged 6 4 and 2.
Cheap fun to cool off on a hot day.
It was great i went on a filed trip today there and me and my friends had a blast i just wish there was more rides but i mean after all it was very fun and i thank you guys for wellcoming us
Great for toddlers. My 3 year old told me after the 1st slide. This is the best day EVER.
I love this place very friendly clean and fun for our kids very reasonable
Fun place for all ages with plenty of shade and chairs for everyone! Just wish all the amenities were open and functional! Plus its pretty far out north. Wed go more often if there was one close to South Reno.
Its an inexpensive great place for the kids to play in the water.
Great for little kids (2-8 years old). And only $4 for 3 years and up.
Very entertaining. Well make this a once a week trip.
Great place, snack bar can use more food.
Perfect for a family day out when its hot outside. Affordable and the water is cold. Be sure to bring a shade and chairs as there arent many benches to sit on
Fun afternoon with the kids. The cost is minimal and lots of fun for the kids.I would suggest that you bring your own umbrella or shade.
Always a nice place to take the kids to cool off and relax. Prices are very easy. More for younger kids.
I would give 5 stars but I think there should be a stamp system like at chucky cheese. Anyone can walk out with your kid. Good price fun and creative water play.
Lovely park for families with kids of nearly any age! Brightly colored, well designed playgrounds provide fun for children. The landscape is well managed seemingly any time of year. The splash park too! So much fun.
Lots of fun for a toddler. They have snacks available too and the Food Pantry had free lunch for the kids today. Great experience! Only downfall is that the water was way cold.
I cant say enough about this place. Totally awsome for the kids! Its cheap!! I paid $18 for my family of 6The snack bar is perfect for the kids with most things ranging under a $1.The grass in between the benches is a life saver for your feet. Make sure to bring flip flops. Most of this place is concrete and gets a little warm in the non water areas.
Had a great time with my 2 1/2 year old today! Great, affordable way to stay cool in the summer. Great little splash park!!
Nice Facility small water park baseball diamonds and soccer field. Tons of space and beautiful landscape. Great for kids and or adults.
Its a great kid friendly place for kids in those hot summer days.
It is a great inexpensive place to take smaller children. Well secured and helpful staff. Senior citizens (62+) are free.
Took my Granddaughter but we left within the 1st hour as I was told I cant wear jean material capris in any of the water because of the filters. So I felt totally out of place
Great place to take the kids so they can get wet, inexpensive also!
The park is small but fairly popular during the summer. It also has a small dry park just in front with a drinking fountain. It was very popular during the Pokemon Go rush as it has 4 stops and 2 gyms all somewhat nearby. There is also a skate park closeby and larger dry park a moderate walk away. Great place to bring kids just to hang out.
This place is great! I love taking my toddler here, its usually very clean and theres a ton of space to run and play. Theres also ample parking which is incredibly convenient with kids and dogs.
Great safe spot for the kids.. only a couple bucks to get in.. perfect on those hot summer days
Cheap, clean and fun!! A great place to take your little ones over the summer. It’s fun for little kids and big kids too!!!!! Just ask my husband lol
Nice little water park for the kids to cool down on a hot summer day. Bring snacks and drinks. They have covered picnic tables. Cost $3.00 a person. Family restroom and boys n girls. Outside shower available too. Closes in September for the season.
Really like this place to keep the kids cool. Four stars though because a lot of the stuff does not work shoot water anymore, and two of the slides are now down for repairs for the rest of the season.
Crowded. Always. However, kids dont seem to mind and they have a blast everytime, so as a parent, 4 stars. A child, 5.
Not much shade but very cool.
This is the place for toddlers,to have fun in summer, the best thing is price I brought 2,3, girls there had great fun
Nice place but the older ladies who are staff are rude and seem to think they can talk down to people!! Thats the only reason I will not be going back nor recommend this place, because of the rude staff!!! The younger staff were very nice and even played with the kids
Its an alright place for kids. The people in the Stead area were PROMISED a pool, which is great for seniors and disabled people. Instead we got sprinklers. I would like to ask Reno City Counsel, what happened to the rest of the money that was promised for the pool. Wayne Hawkins, who was an Oakland Raider years ago, was an invester in the homes being built starting in the Camel Rock area and continuing today. I will be contacting him to see if he knows that in my opinion, Reno City Counsel stole the money. Maybe others can also contact him and perhaps we will get what was promised and the members of the City Counsel can pay for it out of thier own pockets.
Worth getting the memberships, it was great going on the summer! Have to wear a bathing suit to be on the splash pad, including adults.
First open week of the season and it was closed to the public for a private party. Dont bother disappointing your kids. This place is not open to the public and doesnt want you there
A good place to take younger kids. Admission is free for those younger than 2, $3 older than 2.
Great cheap place to take your little ones and run around when its flipping hot and its only a few bucks and I believe they sell drinks and snacks....been a few years but had a blast with my grandkid!
Fun place they need more shade. Also they could have it monitored a little better older kids playing in baby areas and toys and grown people in cotton shorts and pants.
Good place for summer
Awesome water park. really great entrance fees. Very child friendly.
Great place to relax
Open spacious sports fields
Its alot of fun and there are safety attendants toale sure the kids are extra safe.
Need to put a cover on the play area!! Whats the point in having it when its sooo hot the kids get burns going down the slide!!!
$3/person is worth it. Definitely a fun time as a family. Plus it wasnt super busy when we visited on a Wednesday afternoon.
Its a great place to take your kids... Unfortunately they need to update their hours of operations. It says open at 10am... but its not open until 3:30 today
The park is very beautiful, only few tables to eat, do not let in umbrellas, a very limited space with shade
Nice family park. The community is growing around it.
Not as big as a I expected its like a playground with water and has a little slide for kids and one a little bigger. Pretty cute we had fun
Great for kids of all ages.
Good if you have little ones but for teens its not the ideal place.
Very fun great place for 2-12 loved itIts mean splash park!!
Awesome park for our community. Kids could spend the whole day here for a few bucks.
Lots of toys for the kids. Plenty of grassy areas. Volleyball pit with net. Soccer and baseball fields. Nice park in the north valleys
Had so much fun with my kiddo he loved all the slides
Good day. Very busy
Great fun for a great price but limited places to sit in the shade and youre told you cant bring in umbrellas or shade structures, but then get in and find out as long as they dont go into the ground you can. Make sure to bring snacks, cold drinks, and sunblock.
I did the music for a memorial service there, perfect for small to medium gatherings, very nice bldg. Clean, ect.
Not much shade. Gets crowded fast.
Good and peaceful place to take ur kids to take a little splash...
Its a lot of fun
Great place for famlies can get windy at the end of the day . But thats because of location cant do anything about lol.
