Great place to take the kids, waves arent as big as other beaches. Theres usually a lot of seaweed. its a good spot to fish too.

Less crowded area of the beach. At the very beginning of the beach area by the pier, it can be chaotic, but if you walk a little further by the jetty, it is so much better.

Topaz was our surf spot back in the day. It’s nice to bring back our kids here to enjoy some california sunshine. Things have not changed even the numerous sand flies near the waters. Aslong as you pass thru them, it is all good! Come before sunset to get pics of the awesome skyline!

Great surf when its firing and water conditions can be suspect after it rains.

Probably biased since its just down the street from where I live but I love this spot... Usually not too crowded even during the summer and an easy walk down to the Pier if Im looking for some food or a drink.

Im not objective here. Lovely place to walk or surf the shore break - when there are waves that is. Dolphins roam here often, sometimes riding the waves. Not good for swimming unless you are very confident in the water. Breeze gets up in the evening sometimes so bring a layer unless the temp is 80+. That being said it is a great place to escape the heat. Its so wonderfully moderate when a heatwave is on. Great for families and gatherings. Plenty of space and volleyball nets to the south.

Free parking and a quick walk to the beach is always nice.

A min walk from the house and a great place to enjoy a sunset

Is good bech in redondo to visitors

Nice beach but the lifeguards are more worried about intimidating teenagers then they are helping people. If you have children avoid this place the lifeguards cant be trusted to do their job.
