This track is a fun one and it needs volunteers and funding. Locals unite and support the southbay RC community.

Honestly, there were really sketch activities happening in the parking lot in daylight. A lot of males hanging out solo in their cars, 1 dude especially moving from spot to spot in a dark forest green car was suspect. Seems like a nice big park, lots of field space, but got creepy vibes from the loitering in the parking lot.

The RC track has been bulldozed by the city for some unknown reason. Very sad, considering all the hard work that many dedicated volunteers put in, to make it a fun and welcoming place for everyone.

Love this park, i like to go in the morning hours with my little one.

I dont hate it but it seems that the city has come in and leveled the whole thing flat!Im was not a participant but it was fun to watch.

Nice park small tucked away with baseball field.

Pretty little old park. Now they have NA and AA meeting in the rec room. For details call narcotics anonymous etc. Dont worry the meetings are at night and alcoholism or drug addiction is not contagious. Safe to bring the kids.

Good park. Just got redone, a lot cleaner and looks good. Baseball, basketball, open field, swings. There’s a nice rc car track next to the basketball course. Pretty well taken care of.

Great newer play equipment with lots of fun climbing. Rest of park could be a little cleaner but great overall.

New equipment for playgrounds, it has boulders, Stepping stones, and different slopes for kids. The park is clean and fenced. Love walking on the grass and hills with huge trees.

Awwwwesome job they did with this park... All new park with cool stuff for the little ones. Plenty of grass. Lots of space. Basketball court. Baseball diamond. Great lil spot for a park BBQ.

Blood sweat and tears were shed by volunteers to get this going and are continuing to work toward full city approval. Track gets dusty so mornings work best after a drizzle or foggy night.

Went to preschool there. 58 years ago the park is nice never went back to preschool

I like the horseshoe pits, Its a nice little park. Good for small children. Benches, barbecue stands, swings, trash cans, clean bathrooms. I will definitely come a again.

The new play area is great! Lots of cool things to do and new activities.

We had a beautiful baby shower. The park was clean. It was a great time.

We went there to have an open place to play laser tag. The park did great, but it was awkward with number of homeless that were still sleeping under trees at noon

Spurt of the moment stop.. to kill time with my kids.. & it served its purpose.. park was quite.. clean.. without a lot of foot traffic.. or ppl lingering in the parking lot.. esp considering its close to the mall.. Target & train tracksThey did have parts of the playground equipment boarded up.. but it was safe for my kids to play & they enjoyed themselves

Judy and myself will remember this little park being a big part of our lives.

It has been a long time since Ive been here its gotten a bit bigger and its also quite to go to when you need to think and comptemplate life. Its also a great spot for kids and teenagers

A very good place to spend time with kids...!!!

We had fun but the grass needs to be cut. There were too many dips on the ground. Also, we had to be careful around the bathrooms as the stalls have no doors and homeless people were there when we went and took our children to use them.

The park is safe ans it has a lot of running space for the children.

Great neighborhood park with a playground that is suitable for pre-teens and younger. There is a baseball/softball field as well as a full length basketball court. Plenty of tables so parties are doable and there is a rec center that groups can use if available through the city. Lots of room for folk and dogs to run around. Parking is sufficient. Upkeep can go untouched for a while at times but is well maintained. It is right up against the railroad tracks so it is not always quiet.

Very nice play structure and sand pit. Only down side is facilities arent clean and there is tons of vandalism. Huge space great for parties, picnics, frisbee, and other sports recquiring large space.

Love the playground, plenty of trash cans and seating but will not be back, couple of sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot and by the BBQ areas, then my husband found a used needle by the playground so that did it for us at this park

This Park has a Community Center for Drug Rehabs . Children try to Play on the Swings,Slides,Sand and Bars.. While All the Ex Druggies Hang Around All Day by the Kids Playing While Daily and Nite.. Waiting for Drug Classes to Start.. Needles are Found in the Sand Where my Grandson Plays With his Toys Regulary.. The Center is 1 Foot from the Playland.. They Just Gotta Find a Better Place to have These Meetings.. The Neighbors are Sick of It.. Redondo and Torrance Police are Always Patrolling.. Thanks, Maybe a Church or an Adult School Would be Better.. Anything but a Park with Kids!!

Peaceful during the day. Really good place to stop and relax for a bit. Wide open spaces for playing children or for pets.Stick around for sunset and catch the crows night roost. Its quite interesting.

Its small, but gives a fresh feeling somewhat.

I used to take my children to play years ago and it used to be relatively a safe park to visit. But over the past several years, it has become very unsafe, a roaming ground for the homeless and criminals. There had been incidences where innocent bypassers have been attacked. I had also witnessed some teens doing drugs there in broad daylight.

You got a problem with the park I spent my childhood at? Large open spaces that are great for a daytime bbq and poorly lit at night! What more could you ask for!?

This is a very spacious park. Very expansive. However, everyone I have ever gone here with has pointed out there is a-difficult-to-explain-creepy-feeling. Some things cannot be explained. But, when we bring the kids here the kids have fun. I think the local government could beautify it -- more people would come.

Great park:Sand, benches, tables, shade, breezy, always parking in small lot or on street.Also basketball court.Fun submarine climbing structure.Men and womens bathroom available but no seat covers, no doors on stalls and thin, institutional TP.Usually cool to cold even on hot summer day: bring a sweatshirt!

It has new play equipment and wood chips.

Big open space, quiet area. The only thing that bothers me and probably other parents is teenage kids always hang out there to smoke weed. I dont like that around my child and neither do other parents.

Great to have a park like this so close to where we rented a place. Large field, two large playgrounds for different ages and interests. Beautiful trees, too.

Nice park tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Basketball court, big baseball/softball field, swings and 2 play areas. The only downside to this park is that its often frequented by people doing drugs, drug deals, or the occasional backseat shuffle. Though they mind their own business its just an ugly look for the park and gives the wrong impression. They do have park rangers that come by check on things. The cops rarely ever drive by and if they show up its usually because of something major. Late night brings out the rif-raff as the park is super dark at night. There are nicer parks in the surrounding area.....its a hit or miss on how this park can be.

Just a standard large, grassy park with 2 baseball fields and a generic playground. I would give four stars, but the city of Torrance took out the bonfire pits.

Old, faucets work poorly, bathrooms dont have stalls except one, and dirt piles everywhere in the grass so watch out. But it can be fun for a family reunion and play equipment is good for kids. Lots of grass and tables.

Spirituality meetings 5 nights a week at the clubhouse 7pm.

I grew up here as a child and there was always something to do here peaceful lots of grass I used to go to the rec room for Boy Scouts for many years absolutely love this place

Great place to take your dog on a leash, lots of green grass for him to run, lots of big trees, quite place.

Lots of tables and grills, usually fairly empty. Softball league is well managed.

I stay across the street from this park and I live in a nice area but unfortunately the park attracts riff raffs.. people do drugs in the parking lot burn rubber and almost hit other parked cars while doing donuts in the lot, sex behind the trees, homeless people sleeping in the park, homeless lighting trash in the Bbq pitts for warmth I guess and the burnt trash smells soooo horrible I almost threw my guts up! So in a bit shell - I live less than a hundred feet from here and I see everything! So I dont recommend it to families trying have an outing/picnic bbq and if you do?? Take your own pitt trust me and watch your back from thiefs and needles in the lawn.. but please go anywhere else

I like the park especially their city worker and I could say that they are always and assume that someone has them on speed diled becuaes it residential and apt. Area were senior stay at as well
