I love bringing my dogs to this park for the plentiful open space and great walking trails. There is a slight slope which makes it a perfect park to walk around. Its always well taken care of and one of my favorite parks in town.

I spent a wonderful 90 minutes walking the California Native Plant self guided pathway at Caroline Park on Sunday. There were mature examples of the oaks, pines, elders, grasses, bushes and wildflowers that made early California so beautiful. Caroline Park also offers sweeping views of the Inland Valley and surrounding mountains. You should find a pamphlet at the Mariposa Street kiosk that will correspond to 50 species that have been numbered beneath the plant. The pamphlet gives both their common and latin names and I have attached a photo of it. It is a rolling, leisurely stroll but bring hydration. Enjoy!

Beautiful park! The trails can get abbot confusing as there are trail heads but no markers. Plenty of benches, water fountains and trash cans. We have seen many rabbits, and squirrels, probably plenty of other wildlife around we just havent seen.

This is a nice outdoor space, with trails. Lately, there are many photographers using the space in the late afternoon. But, its not nearly as crowded as Prospect Park.

I thought it was a hiking trail park and that it had beautiful wild flowers everywhere. It was calm and serene. But besides the trees, everything was or seemed dead.

It was nice to have some different views today. There were a lot of bees, gnats, ants, and bugs flying around so that just interfered with the peacefulness of it all. We most enjoyed seeing a large group of bunnies.

Beautiful park in the hills of south Redlands. If you have never been, it takes a little bit of work to find. But worth the effort! A park that is maintained in a more natural state, you will be able to walk among native plants, trees, and grasses. Several benches thoughtfully placed under shady oaks, there is is water at several spots, but no toilet facilities.

Located on Sunset Drive at the top of Mariposa, Caroline Park is an oasis of peace with a great view of the valley and the San Bernardino Mountains. Trees and foliage are mostly native. The park is a native plant botanical park. Owned by the City of Redlands, Caroline Park was the product of a community effort in the late 1980s, beginning in 1987, though the land had been transferred to the city in 1929. Only drawback: there are no bathroom facilities (Unlike Prospect Park, down the road). Worth a visit.

Caroline park is a beautiful natural park, perfect for taking a walk through, picnicking, biking, and hanging out.I like the grass meadow on the far eastern side of the park. Hardly anyone is ever there and its like nothing around. Also, lots of bunnies! The one thing to look out for at the park is people walking their dogs without a leash. Once a dog started following me and acted like it was going to attack.
