If your wanting to see a great movie... at a reasonable price... this is it! Not all the luxuries like movies 14... but at 1/3 the price.... you cant lose! I highly recommend to anyone seeking a discount movie... without hardly denting your budget.

This is the second run movie theater in Redding at half the price of Movies 14. The seats are not as plush or wide and do not lean back but the price is right. There are more seats per showing room but they are rarely full. The sound and picture quality are pretty good, however. If the movie you want is there, go for it and save money.

Good deal as its only $3 a movie ticket bathrooms are clean movie theater was clean snack bar was well-equipped and clean. Plenty of parking and the parking is really close to the cinema. Theater wasnt overly crowded. Parking lot was well-lit. Great place to take a small family as your ticket prices wouldnt be too high. Have a new container keep your container deal popcorn or soda and it will cut your cost and half for refills.

Cool place to go watch a movie. My family and I love to go to the movies and grab popcorn. This is a very good place to do that. And I have a decent selection of movies and fairly inexpensive. If youre looking for some sit down entertainment this is definitely the place for you. Check out the website to see what they have playing currently hand for ticket prices. Comfortable seats, played some pinball after we watched Doctor Sleep . Nice place.

Pretty good theaters. People may complain about the cost of popcorn and sodas and candies. What you might not realize is those sales is the only thing keeping the movie theaters open. They make little off their tickets for the movies. So please support your snack bar

Im a member and I get One movie ticket a month. They have recliner seats that are plush. They heat up, great when its cold outside. You get discount on anything you buy plus all kinds of other stuff.

Watched Mortal Engines and Replicas... Both excellent movies... This theater is both comfortable and clean... First time in a while that Ive seen a movie where my feet werent glued to the floor.... And if you hit the dollar store first you can get your snacks for much cheaper then theater prices. Tuesday is 1.50 admission all day! Yay! You cant even get a dollar fifty movie from Redbox Siri..

The price is right! It shows the movies that just got out of the larger theater. So if you missed em you get a second chance to see the movie. The facility is a little older but they keep it up the best they can. There is a little arcade to play while you wait. Concessions are always stocked with great options.

For this theater, 5 stars doesnt mean its posh and super clean. Its clean enough and its comfortable enough...especially for the money. Our family loves movies 8 because we can all go see recent releases, often with other families, and everyone has a good time without breaking the bank.

For the price this place is not bad at all. Its not the most advanced theater and the picture quality is so so in some theaters. But for $1-$3 you cant beat it.

It still looks the same as like 15 years ago not bad though. The games did not work though but they reimbursed the tokens to us good place for a sunday movie day

A simple, straightforward theater for straightforward folk. Small crowds, few bells and whistles, great movies without fighting the crush. I love this theater and as the manager of a residential facility, dont know what my clients and I would do without it.

Affordable, be careful when going to the bathroom, never bend your head when throwing paper in trash can. I almost died there. A girl opened the door and hitting across my face. It hurts a lot. So watch!

Pluses: Great price! Cozy chairs. Good sound and movie choices. Minuses: Sold out of hot dogs for a 5 pm show! Temperature was either freezing or hot throughout movie. Bathroom is dirty.

I like the friendly staff, the choice offered by eight screens & the bargain prices: $3 all the time, except Tuesdays when the price falls to $1.50. A movie theater is the last middle man in the long movie, right there at the end. These guys do a great job delivering big studio films and an occasional surprise.

My kids always have a great time when we go to Cinemark 8! We watched Incredibles 2.. Best kids movie yet!!

My husband and I went to watch a movie here during Memorial weekend and I have never had much to complain about until now. The movie we saw was playing in the theater at the end of the hall and on the right. Well I am in a wheelchair and the place for me to park my chair with my husband next to me was so steep that it makes it uncomfortable to sit. It made me feel like I was going to slide right out. I have never been so uncomfortable in a theater as I was on this visit. I hope to never watch a movie on THAT screen again.

I love having this theater as an option. Today I bought two (2) movie tickets for $6.00. The concessions are still movie theater level expensive, but they are doable based on how cheap your tickets are!

Not bad for a super cheap movie theater experience. Went around the holidays, which is when the city is pretty empty, and there werent any people there besides the workers so it feels like a ghost town, or so for myself on the visit taken. The peeps working there though were really nice which may the visit more enjoyable.

The managers are very nice. So are the other employees that Ive encountered. The theater is very clean. I have been there three times in the last two weeks. Bathrooms are also clean. It seems to run very efficiently.

There arent any discount theatres really clean but this one is acceptable. The concession prices are reasonable also. The one upgrade I would ask for is the ability to use the ticket kiosk with the rewards program.

The cost to see a movie here is very reasonable. The place is usually clean. It does need some updates, specifically the chairs. They are not comfortable. They are old and the cushions are worn out, as well as the upholstery.

Movies 8 is a great place to go for a family because the admission price is low. And if you want to save even more money bring your own snacks

Prices for the movies are good. The employees should smile once in awhile. Might surprise someone. Im really not a nitpicking kind of person..but sheesh. When the employees make you feel welcome, it makes you want to come back. Id prefer to go to the other one in town. Both are expensive in the end, and the other theater is much nicer.

Dark and dingy. Floors are sticky. Chairs are so uncomfortable. Not even worth $1.

Place was clean, staff was very friendly. My only complaint was when i had to change my 18 month old sons diaper and there wasnt a changing table in the mens restroom. So glad i had a blanket in my bag because i had to use the floor in the handicap stall

Awesome. Saw Guardians of the Galaxy, the screen was bright and the sound was loud. Well worth the admission which I think was $3 on the weekend, normally $1. Its not stadium seating, so its kinda nostalgic. All good.

Great that you can see movies at a cheap price, but in such an awful environment. The bathrooms stank of urine and looked like a subway restroom. Most disgusting restroom Ive come across. Yet there was employees vacuuming up popcorn In The hall. I think they needed to focus on the un-sanitary mess. It seriously looked as if they hadnt clean it in a couple weeks.
