While not large in size, Angelica Creek Park is a nice, peaceful park. There are nice walking paths and a 9 hole disc golf course. I frequent the park solely for disc golf, but it is nice and quiet Im the morning with the occasional runner or dog walker. From a disc golf angle, the course is mostly wide open, but does have one tunnel shot hole and another hole that has a green that is in the woods, offset from the fairway. While mostly wide open, the course designers managed to utilize some of the existing trees and and a lot of the elevation changes to make each hole feel distinctly different. My main gripe with the course are the tee boxes, theyre small and filled with fine gravel. The stake with the hole number is at the end of the teebox, very close to your arm whole throwing. I typically tee off from right next to the actually tee box in the grass (based on the wear of the grass, it seems like many other people do too).

Peaceful, extra ordinarily beautiful, the air there is clean fresh and at this time of year in the morning crisp. And if youre nose is good you can pick up the different aroma of dents present their. But I personally recommend the place if youre looking for peace of mind and heart.

Play yard is all natural and so much fun. Peaceful place to hike/walk. Only issue is some dont keep their dogs on leashes, so watch for that especially if you have small kids.

I really love this park. The trails are so beautiful and easy to walk through even with small children. Its also very educational. Lots of schools have field trips here. Today I discovered a small book stand, almost like a book swap. Im sure you can bring books and just leave them there for others to enjoy or just take one and go sit in a field and enjoy a nice read. What a wonderful idea! On weekends there is lots going on, they had a food truck and other stands selling organic homeade lotions and other products. They even had a beer stand! And the prices were nice as well, $4 & $5 beers. The food truck even had hummus! There were lots and lots of dogs and people in bikes. I did not see a playground. There are nice benches all around and really spaced out so you can have privacy.

Usually quiet and it is not a challenging hike but definitely apt to see deer, ground hogs, exotic birds. People that explore there are typically friendly including Alvernia students.

They have a nature park that is nothing special but they tried. They do have a bike repair station thats awesome. Im sure the water bottle/water fountain and a dog water fountain was shut off due to covid. I along with my son and my gsons enjoyed walking in and laying in the creek. The water felt wonderful in the 91degree day. Bonus was naked for a second! We didnt hit the trail this time but will be back soon.

Although its a relatively small part, its pretty nice! There is a wide open space where you can play Frisbee golf or run & play games, there are few trails with connection to alvernia University and the Schuylkill River trail, and it has access to the nature place. Theres an enclosed area where your kids can play on natural obstacles. I love talking my toddlers here.

This park is beautiful and dog friendly. Its located right next to the protected wetlands, right down the road from Trooper Thornes. The trail actual links up with the Thule bike trail as well. Theres a wonderful community garden here! They have events, summer camps, trails and activities. Visit the info center to find out more.

Nice outdoor area with trails and outdoor play place for kids. This park is co-leased by Berks Nature who has an educational center open to the public on site. Check their website for building hours. The park also has a disk golf course and picnic tables as well as open areas for general use. Great place to take your kids for a few hours.

My son participated in their summer camp he had a blast. I wish they had a little bit more staff being that young ones need a lot of attention, other than that I cant wait to sign my child up for their summer camp in 2019.

Definitely a nice 9 hole disc golf park. Only downside to me, is if u get off track or off the path, could be a little rough looking for ur disc. There is a lot of over-grow to the sides of the main fairway. Definitely a lot to track through if u throw a disc off course! Otherwise, its a GREAT 9 hole disc golf course!!!

Angelica Creek Park is great if you stay in the area near the building. Last year they were rebuilding it so Im sure its updated and has a lot more to offer. However if you walk down on the trail along the river just be cautious. It used to be my go to for a quick run with my dog, but the last three times I was there I ran into people coming out of the bushes or going into the bushes where they had no business being. And they were not teenagers goofing around, they were a middle aged couple who seemed like they could have been on something and made me incredibly uncomfortable so I dont go there anymore. Its unfortunate because I liked the area and the trail but as a woman by myself I dont risk going someplace so secluded anymore. The area around the parking lot is nice though, but its not a super long trail if youre looking for a longer walk.
