This theater was alot of fun. We took my son for his birthday and watched Twister. Movies were $5/per person and we were the only 3 people in the theater.The seats recline and both the sound and picture quality were GREAT!Im not sure if the tickets are always at this price point or if it is a special, but it was a great savings. Thank you for making this kids birthday special

Big things can come in small packages. Am not sure how these fine cinema establishments manage to remain in business $-wise though Im mighty glad that they do. Very affordable movie tickets, food that theyll even bring to you after its prepared. Fantastic popcorn too! The reclining seats are so comfy that a less-than-entertaining movie could find you drifting off to sleep, no kidding. Reserve seating available, chose where youre most ease while enjoying the flick... and the image quality and the sound system are truly excellent, you will not be disappointed. Even some beer and wine selections, sil vous plaît . What in the wide, wide world of sports is not to like here? Highly recommended.

Golden Ticket Cinemas in a great value right now. $5.00 seats. The remodel is nice.Power Reclining seats are a plus.However, The horror movie (Relic) sucked.Not their fault. I would recommend this theatre.

Its great to be able to pre reserve your seats so you dont have to arrive so early and fight the crowd. In this new Covid reality they leave spaces between booked seats and the rows are extra wide so there is plenty of spacing

Golden ticket cinemas fairly new, the staff are warm and fun eager to help you, I like this theater for the awesome reclining seats where a tray of food could fit that you order ahead of time when youre getting your movie tickets. When Covent 19 is over I highly recommend the menu and taking the time to sit in your recliner and eat some good food and watch current movie. I can say you would not be disappointed. First time ever coming and so impressed! We came for the sensory friendly showing of frozen 2 and hands down BEST movie experience I have ever had with my kids! I hope they do more sensory friendly showing in the future! Free refills on drinks is the best thing EVER! Amazing comfortable seats that electrically adjust to with a touch of a button. Staff was great and friendly! I highly recommend this movie theater above any others!

This was my second trip to the Golden Ticket and I have enjoyed both experiences. The seating is very comfortable and the service has been great both times. The first time we tried several menu items and the only thing I wont order again is the pizza. The pizza was too frozen foodish for me. The cheese curds, fried pickles and pop corn were all very good. The second time we just had pop corn but the experience was great. O love the reclining seats and the amount of room each seat provides. We will return.

Y’all need to get here and treat yourself to a relaxing movie night. The best theatre in town for comfort and innovation. They offer a variety of restaurant-like food and feature a bar as well. Definitely a upscale theatre (for RC anyways). Love it! Way to turn around a dying location and put it back on the map.

The seats are very comfortable. The popcorn was good. It would have been nice to get ordered food a minute or two before the movie starts so I can see what Im eating. The chili cheese fries had to much cheese and not enough chili. Overall a good experience.

I love the lounge chairs its very comfortable and clean. I however do not suggest buying actual food for a meal. We ordered a pizza and it was very thin and lacked flavor. Convenient store pizza would be a better choice than the pizza we had. We did get cheese curds they werent bad. The staff we had at the snack bar talked way too fast so we had to ask him to repeat himself more than once causing him to become a bit rude.Over all the experience wasnt terrible. Go for the movie not the food.

My son and I visited the theater to check it out. We saw an afternoon viewing of the Sonic movie. I was surprised about how cheap they were after the conversion from the old theater. They have assigned seating (so they know where to bring your food), and they are REAL reclining chairs. They serve alcohol for those of age. I spent less than $10 a ticket for all of this. Great Value! for a family viewing of the newest movies.

Great place to spend a couple hours in front of a movie screen. Comfy seating and great service! Price is more than other theaters but you get what you pay for.

It was an awesome experience! Love the new extremely comfortable layout! While the menu is rather lack luster it is still nice to have the options available. Unfortunately the bar was unavailable but definitely look forward to having a beer while enjoying a show.

Staff were friendly. Seating is nice and roomy. The seating is NOT necessarily the same as what you pick in advance, because some of the theaters are numbered right to left (backwards). For the comfort level I didnt have an issue with the ticket price.The food though; not worth it. No condiments came with it (had to search to find ketchup, mustard and Pickle relish packets). Bacon cheeseburger BUN was good, the burgers texture was mushy, taste was pretty much nonexistent (like a cheapo microwaved burger) and I got 10 fries (they were actually good)...Go for the nice, comfortable seating and good theater layout, but eat before you go.

Went to Frozen in theater #6 Rapid City location Jan 3rd, 2020...your sound was awful!! So disappointed. For a newly remodeled theater, I was not impressed with the sound. Frozen has some amazing musical numbers that came across muffled and dull. I think your speakers might be blown. Could hardly hear the speaking parts. I saw Frozen in a different theater and the sound was totally different. You might want to look into this issue very soon. Reclining Seats were awesome.

Nice chairs, and no negative issues overall

We came for a movie and was absolutely blown away by the hospitality we received. Brenda was a wonderful woman who helped us out tremendously with a little mix up we had on our last visit. Brenda has made our experience every time a great one. She is a truly wonderful and welcoming individual. I cannot praise this lady enough. Thank you so much!

Let me start by saying I plan to keep going to this theater. As a tall person, I like the roominess of the seats and being able to reserve in advance. The food here is horrible though. Even the chocolate shake was bad. How do you mess up a chocolate shake? Also, the staff is very rude. The person that rung us up talked so fast and quietly neither of us could hear him, and he got visibly angry when we kept asking questions. Sorry it was out first time there buddy.

Reserved seating is nice no need to worry about showing up early trying to get a good spot. The reclining chairs are pretty comfortable. Food is also good deluxe pizza was very tasty and filling.

I felt so comfortable sitting in the chairs. The theater was very clean as the bathroom was also. The staff were exceptional. We had a super afternoon!! Thank you! I have alot of friends so we all will pass the good news along!!! Patti

Overall good experience. Seats were great! Popcorn was okay. Lots of food options for a theater. The main lobby was absolutely filthy. Considering the high cost of everything, you figured they could afford a little more help keeping it cleaned. But, I will go again if the movie is right. Deducted 1 star for the dirty lobby and high prices.

I love this theater! Dinner items are not as expensive as I thought theyd be. Burger and fries cost $10. The reclining chairs are such high quality. You can order dinner and it will be brought to you.

Been twice now and as other reviews have said, the seats are great. Even sitting the dreaded front row isnt bad since the seats recline.However, docked a star because the food (the second largest selling point imo) is meh at best - as other reviews have confirmed. If the quality of the food increased a bit to more accurately match the price I think it would be worth it. Im not expecting gourmet food, but its just too expensive for what you get. My recommendation is to stick with good old fashioned popcorn and just go out to eat somewhere after.

Food is limited and expensive - bought hot dogs for $5 each and would have preferred gas station roller dogs at 2 for $3. Thought we were getting fresh cooked food, tasted like they had been reheated several times. Popcorn was stale. The seats and aisles were roomy, but this was absolutely not worth the $50 we paid for this. Horribly disappointed with the Golden Ticket. Will stay with the Elks from now on.

The movie midway was amazing, they got their liquor license yesterday but no booze til next week, the avocado bites are delicious. The prices arent anymore expensive than expected for a movie theater. Great place, I can see myself making it a weekly stop.

Went to go see the movie I Still Believe, about christian musician, Jeremy Camp.Excellent movie!It has been newly remodeled & is very comfortable.

I love that we can reserve seating but that is the only high point of this theater. The popcorn was like luke and soggy. We ordered nachos and it was delivered to our seat around 20 minutes later. The cheese was cold, it was solid. I took it back to the kitchen to get another one and the replacement cheese tasted really strange. I only ate 1 chip and left it at my seat when the movie was over. Im so disgusted with this so called upgraded movie theater. We will go to the other one from now on.

Managment has no idea what they are doing. They are all incompetent and rude. Building seems like its never cleaned. Every time Ive used the bathroomas they are disgusting. Shouldnt have to flush another mans load before using them. Food is mediocre at best. Always seemed to get nauseous after eating their burgers. There are a few other theaters in town. Definitely recommend going to them instead

We were very pleased with this theater. Had this experience in other cities, but these chairs were much comfier. The food is about equivalent to applebees. Recommend avocado bites with the spicy ranch!

Really good comfy seats. Although ti was really busy. I recomend going later at night. Less crowds. They have a menu like a restaurant kinda so thats really cool I think.

When customers reserve online, they should be required to reserve in person for the disabled seating, with the understanding that if they are not disabled. they may in fact reserve these seats, with the understanding that if someone came in who needed them, they would be required to move. My husband - who is in a wheelchair - and I tried to get reservations to two different times and all the disabled spots were taken. When I asked the person selling tickets about this, she said We dont confirm their disability. I get to an extent, even people who dont look disabled, are in fact disabled. But I have the feeling people are opportunists and will take advantage of the perks of being disabled when in fact they are not, making it more difficult for those who really are. I spoke with the shift manager regarding my concerns who stated he would take my suggestion of having disabled people reserve seats in person - to the higher ups. Well see what happens.

Small, but great theater!

Seats were nice and reclined, snacks were delicious and overpriced like every movie theater... reason for 3 stars is it was hotter than heck in theatre 4 tonight... I was literally sweating the whole movie and could not get very comfortable.

When you pay for the Gold Premier option, and tell the snack stand staff when ordering your food, you dont get any points credited like your supposed to. I asked the girl at the counter about points and she was like, oh, I already charged you so whatever. When I asked her to fix it and reminded her that the 1st thing I said was I was a gold member when placing order. She didnt care and shrugged me off. Get a BETTER system for ordering food for the paid mebership like an app!? Otherwise what did I pay extra for? Please fix this pronto.....

I was very disappointed when I went to the theater for the first time. Now, keep in mind that I have been other theaters with similar features of lounge chairs and dining experience. First off, I don’t think our theater was cleaned after the last showing. When we walked in to go to our seats, one row was covered in spilled popcorn. To top it off, my seat still had a good tray on it! Covered in used napkins and uneaten food! I immediately went to the closest staff member and told them about the popcorn and tray and I felt that the theater wasn’t even cleaned. They looked at me like I had three heads! All they said to me was, “Well is the seat dirty?” I said, “I didn’t even look at my seat because there’s food tray in my spot and I immediately left to get it cleaned.” No one went back with me immediately to see the theater mess. I had to wait for someone to come in and clean it. I was never apologized to for the inconvenience or offered anything for the inconvenience. When the movie was over, usually there’s always someone waiting for guests to leave so the theater can be cleaned. There was no one in sight or near the theater waiting to be cleaned. Very, very disappointed in this experience and wasting $30+ to have such experience and to be treated the way I was.
