Not your usual size of theater, definitely a smaller theater. Mask are required. Two new shows with three older movies playing as well. We caught a late show and seemed to be operated by teens at the concession. It was clean and had hand sanitizer wipes for your convenience.

Been here many times and will continue to do so.The seats are comfortable and as of late they have added some things to the concession stand that make it a better viewing experience.Seats are comfortable and this coming from a man that sits splayed out like a frog.They have started a different line for purchasing tickets for members of their higher tier programs, that is acceptable to me as if I want to get in faster, I will join that level of service.I always see staff cleaning all around and they do well.Customers fill their own drinks and we all know how messy that can become, but not here.Messes get cleaned fairly quickly and the staff give plenty of room to allow you to move through and get seated quickly.

AMC A-List Member Perks are wonderful. I however, do NOT like bathrooms with 2 or 3 urinals consistently out of order for months on end. Someone needs to do some renovations (prioritizing bathrooms. I would still continue using this over the new Golden Ticket Cinema only based on the A-List membership perks.- Rating Update 1/5 /20: Urinals back in working order..

It is a good movie theater with friendly helpful staff. I love the $5 Tuesday matinees and they always have the latest releases.It is well supported with the Rapid City people. Nice to see the love of movies flourishes here.

During the show loud bangs where going on outside of the theater and the bathrooms where filthy.

Biggest RIP OFF ever! For a family of 5 to see a movie, one large popcorn and 1 fountain drink and 4 waters it was $100. The bottled water is $5 a piece (4 waters= $20). At the store this brand of waters is less than $2.00. The volume in the theater was so loud our ears hurt. Never coming back.Unbelievably horrible experience.

A great theatre to enjoy a great movie. A great way to enjoy yourself and have a good weekend. A good way to wind down as well. Thank you AMC Theatre.

I like this place because the movies that are coming out are really good. And if youre into comedy or any other movie type this would be the place to go. Lots of the movies are cute and entertaining. So yes I recommend this place for sure if youre a movie lover/watcher.

Very dirty establishment including lobby, bathrooms and actual theater room. Very unorganized and popcorn was old. It was not a cheap family outing today and was left disappointed.Will pay more to go elsewhere.

My sisters and I went to go see The Joker tonight. The movie was good even though it was so cold in the theater. I wanted to leave but we managed to hang in there to the end. It was too cold to eat our popcorn or drink our drinks! We got home and it took us an hour to warm up.

Theaters were too cold. My seat smelled like vomit. Concessions were unkept. Screen was pretty small, but that one cant be helped. Saw a 7pm showing and it didnt seem like the bathroom was cleaned at all today. Definitely taking a long shower after this one

It can be a hit or miss coming here.. I feel like the theater itself is great. The location not so much. Cars get broken in here and it can just be sketchy. I feel like there needs to be more security.

We saw the IT sequel and the movie itself was astonishing. There was an extremely rude stubborn young woman who would not get off of her phone. We had to go ask one of the staff members for assistance because us asking her to put her phone away was inefficient. Within two minutes am employee came and told her to put it away or shed be asked to leave. We were super impressed with how quickly we received help.

Very unsanitary. The theater, on arrival, was dirty and there wasnt very many people there. I used the womens bathroom twice, the toilet struggled to flush and the second time the stall and toilet was covered in what seemed to be dried vomit. There were at least 15-20 gnats on the mirrors. Absolutely filthy. It looks like the bathrooms havent been cleaned in quite some time.On a good note the movie and sound was great.

Its a good theater. Clean, decent price, and plenty of screens, plenty seating. Its definitely worth being a premiere member l. The only thing I dislike is some screens glitch and flash occasionally during films, which can be pretty annoying. Other then that, good theater

Get the A-List and you just pay $21ish a month and go to 3 movies a week. Skip the regular line with the premier line. I never think about what day or what time is less expensive/ more expensive....I just go. It pays for itself. Its my version of a gym membership, but I know Im gonna go. I dont have time for much, but I do escape to the movies. Tuesdays, there is a $5 combo that is perfect to get your popcorn fix. Also, your friend can get in for a $5 movie ticket too until you convince them they should be A-List too. You can only sign up online. The day you sign up is the day they take the money out every month. 3 month initial commitment. Dress warm/bring a jacket just incase the theater is cold. I dont like it when my nose gets cold in a theater that might have a heating issue. I always get rewards and hardly ever dissatisfied.

We are AMC stubs members and love going to movies for a night out. Usually the lines are brief and we are able to get right in! The seats are comfortable and the staff is friendly. If you go to movies somewhat frequently, the popcorn bucket is totally worth it!

Love the popcorn bucket that you buy for around $20-$25 (cant remember for sure) and then get refilled for $4.99 everytime you go back to another movie.

Obviously you know what to expect from a movie theater and its all here. I suggest trying the pretzel bites with nacho cheese or the flat bread pizza. Both very good and eliminates the need to go to dinner first

Love the new food and drink choices that theyve added over the years. Ended up getting the prime membership just to skip the really long line of people waiting to get their tickets but in the end it was worth it :)

Comfortable chairs, good popcorn! Little pricey, but as are all movie theaters nowadays.

Sonic was a cute, funny, and well put together film.

For a monday night 7 oclock movie we had enough time to grab tickets, snacks and drinks before movie started. Also new drink machines and popcorn station to add butter and seasonings, which we werent made aware of until we were leaving. But overall clean and efficient.

They have a great facility with great staff. Very clean with a lot of options for food and drinks and the chairs are SO comfortable!

Amazing place and staff. Only downfall are the projectors. They turn off and on a lot.

The staff was friendly and was able to get tickets and concession items quickly. The lobby was clean as was the drink station. The theater room, room 3, was clean as far as the floors but the ceiling was stained and looked like areas were needing replaced. The screen also had visible lines that were very visible at any time there was a bright scene or pure white and then very distracting. When you pay as much as you do for a 3D night ticket to not have the screen maintained, you have to wonder what that money is going to. Overall the theater was good as long as youre not in theater 3 showing a bright movie.

8:30pm. Sunday night. Can’t buy a thing! Called. Talked to a sub human tennage being (I think). She said the drawers were closed out for the day and even if you were in a movie and wanted something, I couldn’t sell you anything.... Not even with a card.... Thankfully, the Elks Theatre Libby stays open while movies are playing. 5 stars for them!

Can’t refund gift cards. They just want your money.

Was disappointed in the ticket prices, we came from Sioux Falls, and the theatres there,have child ticket prices, but here child tickets were the same price as the adults. Otherwise it was a good place to watch a movie.

Clean, comfortable theatre. Could have started the HVAC system earlier as was stuffy when we first arrived. Rest room was exceptionally clean.

We saw The Lion King. The lines were long. The theater was crowded. We dont usually mind but there were babies in the theater crying and kicking seats. Not the theaters fault.The screen had visible panels that you could see. It didnt make for a cohesive picture. We could hear the movie next door during Lion King down scenes.

Out-of-towers visiting for a birthday. Great theater. Good seats. Good sound. Just be careful when they let you add your own butter and cheese flavor powder to your popcorn. That powder is strong stuff!! Wow! I accidentally over did it. Haha.

Fine theater. Nothing special stands out. People are friendly enough, ticket prices are about average and concession prices are astronomical also as average. Seats and environment are equally comfortable with no negative events during the film. I will be coming back

We paid for tickets and we waited for the show to start. When it stayed blank for half an hour or so, we got up to say something and they told us that they were waiting for the period of time that the ads should take because some movies dont come with them. We sat back down a little confused, 5 minutes later they came in and told us that the projector was broken. At least they were nice enough to refund.

Comfortable seating - wasnt terribly crowded. Great sound and not a bad seat in the house. Visuals also top-notch. Snacks horribly over-priced but comparable to most other theaters. Nice selection of drinks and great popcorn with self-serve butter and salt.

Going in the middle of the day on a weekday is nice. You purchase your tickets, drinks, and snacks all at the snack bar. Very efficient.

Very good movie theater! The seats are comfortable and the movie and sond are good quality. And best of all the popcorn is buttery! Also they have some memberships you can get like AMC Stubs where you get to watch movies free weekly. Also you can get a popcon bucket and they will fill it for free every time you bring it.

Although it is a bit pricey, with stubs reward, Tuesday night $5 movies are amazing! Their chairs are wonderful and very comfortable! The popcorn is very good and their soda selection is very large!! I dont go to movies very often, but I love AMC! The last movie I watched was great,and I would absolutely go back!

I don’t know if I’m spoil or what but I did not like this theater. I like clean places that I can feel comfortable when watching a movie. The places I usually visit have great staff, they are clean and the theater is nice. When visiting this theater on my visit to Rapid City, it was the opposite of these characteristics. It was sketchy, dirty and I did not know where to go upon entering the place. There was popcorn all over the place, no sense of where things or services are at and also the place was weird to get to on the street. Unlike the Marcus theaters counterpart that I visit where I live, AMC does not hold standards nor seem to be interested in renovations.

No lines no waiting and I love the Stubs membership.

Not sure if it was a staffing issue or timing of ask the movies but we stopped in for a 730 showing and didnt leave the concession line for 25 minutes. Recommend an early arrival for premieres!

The place was so dirty that completely took the fun out of it. Could barely stand the bathroom smell, floor was completely dirty with food everywhere. Prices are exorbitant for what the theater looks like especially in terms of poor house keeping/higiene.

Great Theatre, a bit chilly but thats nice when you cram a bunch of people together. Bring a jacket & enjoy a movie!

Ok theater. Small concession and drink area up front gets a little crowded. Theater was clean and good for our movie. Im not sure if the other 9 have better sound and projectors, but #1 wasnt anything fancy, but wasnt bad either.

One of two places to watch movies but not bad theater

The service @ this theatre is outstanding. Every time Ive been to a movie here, Im greeted warmly, and I receive my order promptly and efficiently. The individual theatres are always clean, and there is no stopping and starting of the film due to some sort of technical difficulties. Since its change to AMC, Ive attended probably three times as many movies as I did in previous years

This is hands down the NASTIEST movie theater I have been in. It smells like feet, rancid popcorn, b.o. and filthy carpet. The restrooms are awful as well.Tje lobby is a sorry sight also. They never clean the popcorn off the floor, even during the slow times. The lobby smells just as bad as all the theaters.AMC can get away with this because they are the ONLY THEATER in town. People either go here or not at all.Absolutely shameful way to run a place.

We so enjoy this theater. Great sound quality, and the place is kept clean. Staff are courteous and friendly.

Great movies, but a very dirty place

The entrance and front lobby needs to be vacuum. The restrooms need to be clean.

Make sure your there 45 minutes early so you can get your popcorn and soda in time before the movie starts. Also if you like a popular flavor of pop like coca cola they are probably out of it. But dont worry for only like sixty bucks you and your date can enjoy a nice movie with your second choice soda and a box of carnival grade pretzels.

Was very cold. Almost got frostbite

It was excellent BEFORE AMC took over. All the problems are a result of changing the way things were done to the way AMC does things.It was much more efficient and personal before. It had a personal atmosphere before, much better all around. Staff is polite, a few of them will go out of their way to help you. If it wasn’t for the staff I’d probably drive somewhere else or just watch the movies when they come out on Prime.

Customer service was top notch, little smaller than I expected, it looked bigger when I drove by it a few times.

Older theater, even though they call this place Classic AMC they should still invest some money into this place to modernize it. Seats were uncomfortable, and the restrooms were not cleaned.

Ive been coming to this theater for YEARS, but apparently you have to be a premier member to get service now?! Everyone standing in line for 40 minutes waiting for tickets and concessions as they yell for the next premier member to step up for help. Movies cost over $50 we shouldnt have to have memberships or be late to a movie. Our movie started at 130. Got here at one and are now late for our movie. Good way to LOOSE service by forcing memberships on people.

I was taken aback. Watched a first run movie by myself in a comfortable, clean, theater, but between unbuttered popcorn, a small soda, and the ticket i dropped thirty bucks. Ouch.

Great theater; nice seats, great food and ok prices. One issue...lobby is too small for busy days. Not enough room for people waiting for movies and concession customers. And placement of butter and pop machines just make it worse.

This is a good movie house with a decent selection of todays movies. The staff do a good job overall, especially keeping the spaces clean. I would like to see more modernizing, specifically in the ticketing area.

Outdated theater. Service was slow, one ticket issuing agent. The area for concessions is awkwardly designed, and where the line ends, they call out for Premiere customers (their members) to come on down and cut the line, after youve waited ten minutes in line already, and they have to squeeze past all the other folks at the registers waiting for their orders to get to the end where they are hailed too. They should really just do it on the East end of the counter to avoid this.Not a fan of the soda machines they have. They have two of those modern dispensers with the hundred plus flavor combinations, and all it does is create a long line as people struggle to find a drink, or struggle to operate it because theyve never seen this thing before. The placement of the machines creates a line in a cramped lobby location, which backs up into the concessions line, and the overall lobby creating a chaotic display of people trying to navigate around each other. I accidentally cut to the front of the line because I couldnt identify where or if there was a line.This theater really does need to be remodeled and updated to a modern theater, and update the lobby to a more efficient design.

Tuesdays are great, you get a ticket for 5 dollars and small pop and popcorn combo for 5 dollars. Its the best deal we go almost every week.

Pretty average theater. Lots of screens and clean most the time.I would have gave five stars if it werent for the seats and the prices. The seatnot the most comfy. And some AMC theaters have those big leather chairs that recline. That would be awesome. And the prices are ridiculous. Id rather not pay 6 dollars for a small drink. With those prices they could probably afford the leather seats.
