Heritage Lake Park

Is a beautiful place, but it can be improved with a few more things, like a road between resting areas and a cycling road.

Nice park for walking the dogs but no fish. It seems to only be about two foot deep, not much cover and Id bet they dont stock it. Myself and many others worked the heck out of it and got nothing.

Great environment big lake park benches you can go fish there and its got a bicycle path on it about 5 miles total great place go check it out

No restrooms and very little garbage cans

Not much for dog to do but it is a nice long walk circumnavigating the pond. Be careful wearing headphones. While there are signs stating “No Motorized Vehicles” apparently this doesn’t apply to maintenance workers who drive through with wild abandon terrorizing walkers with near misses.

Nice setting, I just wish people were more considerate of their trash. Lots of bottle caps and small debris like that.

It was great until a couple of guys in multi colored shorts showed up with their dogs off lead. My dog has been attacked a couple of times so I headed out. The guys laughed when I mentioned keeping their dogs on lead. Nevermind they basically ran me off. Came to the area I was already in, enjoying the day. They could have gone elsewhere or at least kept their dogs leashed until the area was clear. Too many people are using it as a dog park and its disrespectful to other park goers. Might not go back if the loose pets issue isnt addressed.
