So many wonderful things to do for all ages indoor and out. Little ones can tot around in the toddler and baby section and older school aged children can challenge their brains to puzzles and other hands on activities. Outdoors you can explore musical instruments and gardening. Will be going back since there is so much to do.

The activities in the museum are interesting, and both of our girls (ages 6 and 12) had a great time. The 12 yo spent most of her time in the math puzzles section, and the tube and ramp building section. The 6 year old really enjoyed the pizza kitchen and grocery store.Even though the kids enjoyed themselves, the number of activities and exhibits was limited, so it didnt take long before both of them were through everything and wishing for more to do.The staff are pleasant and helpful, and they are constantly doing rounds, making sure all the tactile exhibits are kept clean and sanitary.

My wife and I are from Winnipeg, Canada and we brought our 2 year old son to this museum three times. There was so much to do and the staff was so friendly, especially Ruth! It was tough to find spots that were designed for kids in and this one was very well thought out. We hope to come back one day :)

The place was amazing it had a ton of activities for the kids. The staff was super friendly and professional they really made us feel welcome. My kids really enjoyed this place. It was organized and clean. I’m definitely coming back again.Quick update, I have been back since and this place is still pretty great to visit, the exhibits are all age appropriate for kids and it seems they may rotate different exhibits from time to time. They have an outside lunch area where they also have things for the kids to play with to give the parents a chance to finish eating while the kids play. Another cool feature is that you can pre-order lunch before your visit just in case you and the kids get hungry while visiting. This is also great for school field trips. The entrance is inexpensive and there is a lot of cool things for kids to see like 2 real live turtles. A small trail for the kids to follow and plenty of room to kick a ball around or just to let the kids run around outdoors. By far one of our places!

Visiting from out of town, a really good friend of mine took my daughter (18months) and I here. My daughter absolutely loved it! It had so much educational activities which I even enjoyed as an adult, through out the whole museum. The staff are very friendly, and the whole museum was very clean. They are doing renovations and updates, but that didn’t hinder the experience there at all. Definitely would come back!

Amazing place for kids to explore and learn my daughter had so much fun. The facilities are very nice however they cant afford to keep it air conditioned. There are many exhibits needing repairs. For example, the puppets are very raggedy and the display is missing the curtain, the animator doesnt work at all, the dig area was missing most of the components and the Sid the science kid exhibit has a smell experience and most of the items smell as if theyve gone bad. But the views are amazing and the kids just love it anyways. Still a good time with lots to do. Just check the weather or call to make sure if they have the air on that day.

We had pretty high expectations for this place based on the reviews and we were very disappointed. There is a mixture of brain teasers for big kids and pretend play for little kids. The veterinarian center had a list of tools you could use to check on the animals but no tools available. The pizzaeria was a fun time. The grocery store was adorable but the staff that was in there kind of ruined it. Kids were running around shopping having a great time and she just started lecturing them on putting things back exactly where they belong. My children didnt even finish the whole process before they started putting things back. It was quite disappointing. The second building was interesting. Had game type activities and STEM things to do. It was just so crowded you couldnt really do anything and there were materials missing. In the build a car section there were no motors. The wind stream had one ball. There was a cup thing where everyone was supposed to design a cup that had only 2 cups.In the third building its supposed to be an under the sea theme with a focus on the environment. There was a maze of seaweed that was just ropes hanging down. The sunken ship had a slide. A sand table that was running out of sand. A place to watch a fish show with two broken TVs and a blacklight coloring area with no paper. Later realized the staff was carrying around the paper. Not sure why it was being held hostage.... The staff in this building got mad at kids for tossing bean bags around. The staff just didnt seem to like children being children. Finally, parents shouldnt have to pay full price. We stand around and watch.

This was a good place to take our granddaughters for a not-too-big-of-a-cost. I had hoped we would be there for about 3 hours, but we were only there for 2 hours. The 3-yr old was active, and the 11-yr old just blew through everything . But overall, it was cheaper than the Living Desert (which we still hope to do some time), and we were more active than staying home and watching Disney movies. All in all, a good day at the Childrens Discovery Museum!

Our kids love the children’s museum! They like all 3 rooms and especially the surprise element of the 3rd room that they change around from time to time. Both my kids are toddlers and they enjoy visiting the museum very much. They are learning as they play and after a few hours are ready for a nap. It’s always clean, staff is friendly and nice and cool during summer time.

Extremely well thought out museum for kids. It got very crowded the day before Thanksgiving as Im sure any great attraction would get on a holiday. We left a little bit early because it became difficult to see the exhibits due to the number of kids running around. Would definitely come back on a less popular day.

This was a great place to take my friends kid for day. The museum had 3 buildings... We had a good time here. It was very well staffed so even the areas that were very busy were getting cleaned up and organized instantaneously which was great. Most of the activities were more suitable for older ages and Im not sure it would be my first choice for younger kids (under 8ish). There were quite a few activities for the little ones too but most of it is pretty standard stuff (arts and crafts, play store / restaurant). The string maze at the entrance was a hit and Ive never seen that before.

Not the place it once was. They took away the good attractions like the paint a vw bug, the dress up room, the in floor trampoline, the real magnetic wall. They didnt have the jumbo Lincoln log area like advertised on the website. Great place but not much of a great staff. Bigger white lady with blonde/brown hair was extremely rude and condescending when our kids where playing in the toy kitchen area. They were literally just playing but she basically scolded me for letting them play with the toys and said I had to clean it all up (mind you there where other people there too) Regardless, I was planning on cleaning up with them when they were done. She just really didnt have to be so bitter about it, huffing and puffing as she picked up toys, too. Based off of her expressions and actions, it seems to me like she hates her job or doesnt like kids, and shouldnt work there if thats the case.
