I will admit that I dont often (er ever?) think of a trip to my local college museum to check out the latest installation. I wonder why though? I did check out an installation at the Wignall and found that its very easy to get inspired. Maybe because its not such a huge space (2500 sq ft) so as to not overwhelm a simple mind such as mine? Maybe because it so well presented by people and artists who care so much about what they do? Maybe because I saw things that ranged from I could create something like that, I think? to How the heck does something like that get in someones head?They have a great up to date website. If your gonna be in the area and are the least bit curious - check it out. If youve never been to a local art exhibit the Wignall is a perfect place to stick your toe in the water.

Has to be one of the best contemporary art museums in Southern California. Not afraid to bring in artist that are pushing the contemporary art world forward. Always a treat to visit their exhibits.
