Both of our boys have gained so much from working with everyone at XL.
Home of Velocity Soccer Club!! Top of the line organization and coaches!!
I love this place! My sons love playing here and they’ve met many new friends at this facility. I’d recommend this team for any mother out there who wants their kids to enjoy playing the sport they love!
I love the place its one of my favorite places to go every Friday nights me and my friends have a lot of fun but one thing that I dont like is that one worker is a bit mean to the kids
Do thes camp have a 10old
Excellent! My grandson has had wonderful experiences at this facility! I did not and would not give a one star reviews. My grandson has been very happy here!
Spent many of my middle school and high school nights here with some great memories. The place has really gone downhill over the years. Wish someone would come in and give the whole place a makeover as it truly has potential to be a nice place.
It was bad experience, the one in Apex are more friendly
Very fun a lot of friends nice coach’s fun games get you to get better at football
This place is awesome! Ive been going for the past couple years now and I love it. Its a my favorite way to get exercise each week. Plus the staff are fun to talk to and just be around. Registration is easy too; its online and they send emails when its time to do register for the next season. I would highly recommend going here if you enjoy the game!
5.0 star rating 5/3/2017My son is in his 3rd season of Soccer Tots (2-3 year olds) and loves it. Hes excited to be there, run around, interact with other kids his age and learn soccer at the same time. He loves his coaches (Eliza, Vanessa and Troy) and they make the class a lot of fun and entertaining. Eliza, the lead instructor, is great with the kids and gives equal time to each. Actually, the other coaches are just as good, too! A great program that I highly recommend.
Our daughter has been playing since just under age 2, she is now almost 5. We have loved the Soccer Tots and Beginner classes for her! The concepts are great for soccer and also for motor skills in general. Love that we can just keep her in it weekly, year round because at this age, having a routine is so helpful! Would definitely recommend to others!
As one of the only and busiest indoor soccer places in town aside from the Factory in Wake Forest, and Net sports, they sure don’t keep the place up. It’s been around for a long time and it shows. Bathrooms, snack area, just the whole facility in general. It has that indoor musty sweaty smell when you walk in and there’s not much to the place other than 2 fields and a couple of bleachers. Score boards don’t work right. The place is just run down. The refs definitely play favorites towards the XL teams, so be forewarned on calls, or lack of if you are playing one.
Enjoyed playing here four years ago in high school, but they haven’t stopped sending me emails since then even though I’ve unsubscribed numerous times and called to request to be taken off the email list. Also, the woman I spoke to assumed I was a mother even though I told her I had played there in high school four years ago and twice asked for my son’s name (I never said anything about having a child, much less a son). The staff aren’t the brightest.
Maybe if they would pick up the freaking phone i could give them a better review. I have called literally 11 times. TRASH Customer Service.
Best combination indoor and outdoor soccer in this area. This is under new management. They are working hard with parents to provided and above the line experience.
The best place to play soccer
These guys are seemingly having a hard time fielding talented teams competitive with other area clubs. Looking elsewhere once they release our player to tryout for other local soccer clubs. They are dragging feet
I started playing at XL when I was six, switching over from Casl, I am 15 now and I have definitely enjoyed playing here. The refs are generally very fair, the feels are in great condition, especially compared to a lot of fields in the area. The coaches are very personal and love to have fun with the players. I am now playing as part of the elite program and I have been loving it. XL is my home away from home and I can always expect to have fun and play great soccer every time I come.
Loved it! The facilities are very nice, the snack bar is great and the games were fun. Everyone is pretty good, I am not a great player and there were a lot of skilled players..but overall it was a great time and I highly recommend XL Soccer World
We started with my son in their Jrs. program, as the CASL Mini-Kickers and Rec League lack coaching. Parent coaches just do not cut it in terms of instruction any more. Now my son is in his second year of the year round program and his skill level is advanced beyond his years. We have been at the big clubs and the politics and lack of regard for the customer were a huge turn off.
I am very disappointed in this facility and the leagues offered. I moved here from out of state and have now played multiple adult leagues and they are all terrible. The fields and facility are horribly maintained. There is no working air-conditioning, the score boards dont work, they patch repaired the turf so now the ground is extremely uneven, the water fountain water is milky looking and has a horrible taste, bathrooms have broken doors and hinges, etc. etc.).The leagues are also extremely unprofessional. The refs dont pay attention, they will even play for the various teams instead of reffing and they dont even follow the rules. House teams are a joke-they cant attract any dependable players so I ended up showing up to a game where I was the only person. All of these issues...so why is it so expensive?
Soccer tots is great! The coach does a great job with the kids!
The management here is a complete joke. One of the managers has no concept of what a soccer complex should look like. They also hire referees that are either incompetent at their jobs or that flip high schoolers the middle finger. There have also been spectators that have reached onto the field to grab at players out of rage. In both of these instances, management has refused to step up and stand up for the kids being attacked. I would suggest dropping your money in a shredder before you spend any money at this establishment.
WILL NOT GO NO WHERE ELSE MY KIDS HAVE PLAYED THERE FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS. THEY LOVE IT THERE. THEY HAVE GAMES FOR ALL AGES.MY HUSBAND LOVES IT THERE!
I want to publicly thank XL for being so honest. My son broke his wrist the beginning day of soccer camp and was unable to attend for the remainder of the camp. I forgot to ask for a refund when this occurred. Two months later, I remembered that I had paid for 3 weeks worth of soccer. I called XL and asked for a refund, somewhat expecting them to say that I had waited too long to request the reimbursement. They were very cooperative in giving me a full refund. I will use them in the future. I value that kind of integrity.
They are excellent with the children! My children love going there and they have learned so much! If we ever have a problem there, everyone is very helpful.
The staff is super rude and unprofesional. Seriously learn how to treat and talk to people!
This place is a JOKE! Ill start with the good. The facilities are ok. Just ok. They are a little run down but the snack bar with adult beverages is a redeeming feature. Scheduling has been an issue for my mens team. We consistently get less games than other teams and very late game times. My biggest complaint is the officiating. I have played for 21 years. Region 3 and collegiate. Every single game I watch or play in at xl is called very one-sided. The two refs they have are both on complete power trips. They have no control of the games. In my mens league fights are not uncommon. In my coed league, an opposing player made a sexist comment towards my girlfriend. I complained to the ref and he gave the other team the most sarcastic talking to Ive ever heard. Clearly thought it was a joke. He then proceeded to mock our entire team during the second half with players in the other teams bench. Absolutely foul culture at this place. Avoid at all costs.
My son had a very negative experience at this camp, and it was not well run- a ton of kids with just a couple counselors. Our son didnt want to attend the remainder of the camp, and they said that they would issue a partial credit and would contact us. When they didnt contact us after several weeks, I called to inquire and was hung up on multiple times. Very unprofessional and not the way to run a business...other members of our family play soccer here, but dont worry, we wont be back!
When I went here for camp the coaches would make fun of me BECAUSE HOW I LOOKED and the place is EXTREMLY DANGEROUS the flied needs to be raked and it looks like the place hasnt been clean in 5 or more years and the their is fights a lot the refs are horrible I once got a moon pie there and it was 3 weeks out of date IF U WANT TO GET HURT AND GET PICKED ON XL IS THE PLACE TO BE!!! : (
Very poor management. The first day of my sons soccer camp, only one of the staff members were there and he was outside in the parking lot. There was NO adult supervision inside the facility. My son had a bad experience with a camp participant, and the staff did not follow the structured schedule. My son said that most of the day was free play. I tried to discuss my concerns with the owner, but he was very curt. We exchanged one email and I havent heard back from him. What a waste of $185. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Our boys loved the coaches and I appreciated how patient they were.
I will start by saying I love it ;) ;) I have to disagree with many negative reviews.we have been with CASL For Five years it was a nightmare Experience for us (too much politics and favorism) we Finally made the right move when we came to XL The facilities are very nice They have an oustanding Coaches,They Truly elevated the level of all my kids.Rich is the Nicest Human Ive ever met(very Professional man always willing to help and discuss with you any issues you have) We are very Happy in XL.
The website is horrible when it comes to posting schedules and its very outdated. I couldnt sign my team up because the website was so terrible.
It is awesome i play for them right now and jordan is the best
My son broke his wrist during a track out camp and I received no communication from any of the staff! It was not an obvious break but there were 2 times during camp that he was obviously in a lot of pain for an extended amount of time and the staff put him on the sidelines with ice. I was never told about either incident. I have made repeated requests to speak to the owner over the last 3 months (by phone, email and certified letter) and have not been contacted. I would highly recommend you do not entrust your kids to this facility! Edited to add: I have now heard from the owner and we have addressed the issue. I still believe that the lack of communication over the last 3 months was completely unacceptable. I asked to see what the policies were regarding injuries and was told that if I wanted my son to return they would be happy to go over the policies with me. We will not be returning
I played castl, and challenge and many other leagues around the area and I can tell you that if your going to play soccer competitively xl soccer is not the place, also the refs are a joke they dont ever move with the ball to keep a close eye on the play and they make ridiculous calls. Dont waste your money, there is better leagues around the area such as tasl, net sports, and dreamsports. I will only recommend xl if your a kid from the ages of 5 till 12.
XL Soccer Management - horrible. The staff is extremely rude, unprofessional and simply unorganized; especially Jordan.they are treating people in a very ugly way with disrespect.
Love the coaches, they do a great job with the little tots!
Awful league, referees are terrible. A guy hitted my face (very close to my eye) with his elbow, I was bleeding and the ref did not stop the game, I went to urgent care that night. I called to complain and they said that they will talk with the team, that they will call me back to apologize. I did never receive a phone call from anybody, not even the staff member. The referees let the players be too agressive, more than should normally be, playing close to the walls is extremely dangerous and people use the force in many opportunities with bad intentions. Whoever play in any team, they do not check a list or IDs, in fact you could play not even paying, just ask if the team need more subs !!, not well organize and awful facilities.IF YOU WANT TO GET AN INJURY GO TO XL hahaha
Mens bathroom is a nightmare. But at least they have beer.
Low-class place. Fighting every night, poor field maintenance, and run-down appearance. Injuries on the slippery surface near the boards. Dangerous. Even refs get attacked by the players.
It just straight up SUCKS
Miserable place
Dose not worth
Who cares what we think why does it matter lol
Place is very old, maybe someday will fall down, no maintenance, no services, no one care, many times kids have accidents because of this, but it seems the owners care about how to collect money and does not care about our kids health and safety.
The refs are terrible and call stupid fouls.
The beer is hot, I almost die iuuuuuuuuu
David rios makes the difference in XL!
No What a laugh
HOW much is it cost?
They are untrustworthy.
They are unprofessional :/
