Very beautiful area to visit. I love coming here every chance when we come up north. So many beautiful pieces of art. And if you aren’t scared of the heights, there are some amazing views as well.

The feeling here is peaceful and everyone is chill, there was a dance practice going on the the middle courtyard, people rock climbing off the cliffs and the skyline was beautiful. Everywhere you look was art and expression. Most of the stuff was pretty current as well, you could explore around in the bushes and pathways, plenty of adventure and chill places to relax. A place like this is one you will want to return to again and again.

AMAZING place. Great walkways for easy hiking. Climbing and wonderful scenery, Boston can be seen from several High points. The Graffiti is golden addition to the place; (have an open mind, some really fun and impressive stuff can be found) Theres an amazing open field with huge rock structures. Truly a great place for anyone; its an easy walk and QUITE a sight. Good hangout place for groups too. Easy to access from the highway, Right of the UPS store.

I love Quincy. So much history, and the Quarries are no exception! And the ART!! Outstanding graffiti art. Such a cool place to explore. I imagine if you are into rock climbing this place would be perfect for you! My only complaint is that there is no broken glass all around, so be mindful when sitting or kneeling.

Truly the Mecca of climbing in the Greater Boston area, the Quarries offer plenty of too rope routes with some bouldering, trad, and sport climbing sprinkled in. Make sure to pick up the guide book Boston Rocks second edition for topographic maps of all the different walls that wrap the area.If climbing isnt your thing, plenty of picnic areas dot the bluffs around the inner quarry. From the top of the northernmost prow, nicknamed The Tower of Power, you can get awesome views of the Boston skyline, arguably better than at Blue Hills.

Very cool place for climbers. Good amount of variety and big walls paired with some some cool shots on the rock and a nice view at some top outs. Graffiti does make the rock a little slick in some places but also adds an artful and different element to the experience.

A great place to hang around with friends. Dont go there in the morning, you wont find a single person. Its an evening place. You see a lot of people there, making music videos to family having a good time. The best part was the view. You can see the Boston skyline from there.

This is an awesome place to check out! Theres some amazing graffiti art and some beautiful views here. Theres some swear and stuff painted on some of the rocks, just a heads up if you bring children. Also you tend to find trash and broken glass throughout the area, but for anyone who loves to explore different places and likes a nice view, you should consider going here. Its pretty cool!

Hands down best place to watch the sunset over the city (that Ive found). Very funky place, you could spend a long time exploring here. The graffiti and views give it an interesting quality but it is a bit sad all the trash. If people would carry out what they carry in that would be fantastic.

Wonderful place to do some light hiking/climbing with beautiful grafitti murals! Just be careful with small kids and pets, as there are minimal side guards on the paths up.

It is a truly beautiful place. All the art makes this place amazing. It is a great place for those who like adventure, a scary place those afraid of heights (if you plan on climbing the rocks). For smokers its great chill place, smoke somethin, and chill on rocks and try to interpret what all the rocks say on them. If you are in a relationship, great for an outdoor date. If you need some air and want to enjoy a nice scenery in peace, come here.

Great views abound! This place is a hikers paradise and definitely a place for the adventurous. My group could spend our entire day here if it wasnt for the packed itinerary we already had. A great place especially for those who wish to see an elevated view of the great city of Boston or for those who are looking for a great picture for Instagram. Also there is even spikes at the tops of the mountains to allow for easy rock climbing. I would love to go back and take in the views again and find how to get to other parts.IMPORTANT NOTE: When we arrived we only saw the entrance that had two cinderblocks with graffiti and we went that way where we did trudge through some mud and tall grass. When visiting I would better recommend going through the forest bike path with the rod blocking it. We didnt even realize that was also an entrance until we decided to take a different way back! Its kind of a blink or youll miss it type path.

This is an unique place, we went there as a family with little kids. This inactive quarry is really cool and hip with graffiti art and reminded me of NYC’s 5 Pointz in Long Island City. My older kids and the accompanying adults had fun exploring the reservation but it was a bit dangerous for our toddler hence the old quarry/popular rock climbing spot (steep walls). Unobstructed Boston skyline view from tallest points of the quarry were delightful. Free parking is available. Easy access by car and transit. When we went there last spring, it was bit dirty; littered spray cans, broken glasses were spotted. Also there were some guys practicing archery with a target so we were walking around them with extra caution.

What a wonderful place. The quarries were filled in years ago and has become a popular place for graffiti artists to offer Mother Nature their gifts. The graffiti really makes this place unique! The views from on top of the rocks are stunning. On a clear day you can see the Boston skyline.

This is an amazing escape from the city! I would normally frown on graffiti on natural developments. This, however, strangely makes sense. It’s a great way to blur urban and nature in a way that creates something that’s neither urban nor nature. I can’t imagine how some of these installations were accomplished. Beautiful and cool!

Very enjoyable rock climbing! So much variety of wall angles. Provides overhang through to slab style. Lots of spray paint at lower levels has removed a lot of grip on holds. Top rope anchors vary from 2 bolts at top of wall, to set back trees and rebar.

It’s probably one of the most common lies we tell. There are people who will be handed an actual fresh cup of coffee, and tell me it’s not hot or it’s not fresh. Clearly these are the people who want their tongues to have third degree burns, and it’s really not my place to judge, so I just microwave their coffee for about a minute and they seem satisfied enough.
