Have not been to the theater in a long time. Had a great experience coming to see the Croods with my family. The movie was fun and the staff was friendly and helpful. Will be coming back

Good theater with all of the current selections as well as some occasional older films. The seats were comfortable, and the atmosphere was nice. Can get crowded for popular movies, so its safest to purchase tickets online with designated seats.

On Saturday evening me and my family decided to rent out a screening room at the Cinemark 16 in Provo. Masks are only required while walking inside or at the concessions stand. Once you are in your screening room, you are allowed to take off the mask. We knew this and had no issue complying. Half way through the movie, one of my brothers ran to the bathroom forgetting his mask at his seat. When he stepped out of the bathroom he noticed his pregnant wife struggling with a handful of concession refills. He grabbed the large tub of popcorn from her hands and realizing he didn’t have a mask rushed to get back inside our screening room where he wouldn’t need one. An assistant manager stepped in front of him and asked him to put on a mask. My brother let him know he didn’t have it on him and with his harms full of popcorn, was just going to quickly run back to our screening room. As my brother attempted to step around him, the assistant manager with all the awe inspiring managerial authority he could muster, demanded that my brother go get his mask, and attempted to side step back in front of him. Instead, they clumsily bumped shoulders as my brother walked past him to get back into the screening room, in an effort to not infect the other non existent patrons. Everyone knows Cinemark 16 is going under..... there was pretty much no one else there. The assistant manager followed my brother all the way to his seat and aggressively reminded him that he had to wear his mask outside the screening room. My brother reminded him, he had just forgotten his mask at his seat, which he had already returned to, and that the assistant manager was being very aggressive and rude in following him to his seat to try and continue an unnecessary argument.The Assistant manager left and about 30 minutes later we had 2 police officers posted outside our screening room. You can’t make this stuff up. The assistant manager, now deservingly referred to as another C0VID Caren, aka CC, had told the police officers that my brother shoved him! My brother let the cops know that he did not assault this man. In fact he was holding a large tub of popcorn and was unable to shove him. My brother did mention that their shoulders bumped as he stepped around the CC, who was very close to his face for someone supposedly worried about C0VID, but that it was a gentle enough brush that he never even spilled any popcorn. The officer informed my brother that the CC stated he had a witness of the “assault” so they would have to write a citation. My brother told the cop there were no other employees around so the CC was obviously lying. My brother asked the manager of Cinemark to pull the video tape, to which the manager conveniently replied that they didn’t have any footage of the interaction. The cop actually seemed annoyed by the managers response and said that all Cinemarks have cameras in these areas. The manager insisted there were not any, and him and the officer argued back and forth a couple more times, the officer seemingly unconvinced this was possible. The officer dropped it and told my brother it was out of his hands. He would have to write the citation but that my brother should fight it in court. Which he absolutely will be doing.Another example of employees caring less about the actual safety of patrons in a seemingly empty theater, and more concerned with unquestioned compliance.

Came here to see a movie with the fiancé and it was anything but pleasant, and relaxing. The tickets we were able to pay cash but not the concessions. We then had to go back out to box office to buy a gift card to purchase any. Very inconvenient and annoying. We then get to our theater and a group of teens come in and talk/yell/laugh/phone call, switch seats, and go in and out of the theater the ENTIRE TIME. we could barely hear the movie let alone focus on it. This was so incredibly inconsiderate and we will NOT be back to this theater. Horrible experience.

This is my childhood movie theatre. Great place to go and watch some of the latest flicks. Awesome service and quality entertainment. They stay on top of cleanliness and updated equipment.You’ll always have the latest and greatest in entertainment. Great secret exists to the parking lot to avoid long lines or crowds of people.

The theater is back open again. You buy your seats and they block off the seat on either side of you plus the row in front and the row behind are empty. There wasnt any trouble finding seats at least right now.

It was unique to watch a movie during the Corona plague. They said it is often like this. Still everything was very professional.

We love going to this theater at the Provo Towne Center because its so much less crowded than Cinemark Orem or other theaters around. Screens are big and its been clean in our experience.I dont recall if they have the luxury loungers like some of these other places. But its always nice to be able to grab a seat last minute if you decide you want to do something on the weekend. Thats not a luxury you have at some of these other more crowded venues. The seating is assigned, so you can be sure to get a good seat. You can also purchase tickets online.

Went into to watch tenet and the guy taking tickets “Matt” had his mask pulled all the way down!!! IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC and was super rude and gave me attitude and then told us the wrong theater and we had to Ask another employee to direct us to the correct one, will not be coming again, worst theater ever in Utah county and so outdated

The staff is definitely the highlight of this theater, theyre on top of everything and incredibly helpful. There are tons of movie options, its in a convenient location, and very well-kept. The concessions are in a bit of an odd spot (not right inside like most theaters), and there are no signs above each theater room telling you whats playing inside, so make sure youre communicating with the staff. Overall a pretty great theater!

I really actually like this theatre. There is always a good selection of movies, the place is clean, the workers are friendly. Pop and candy is overpriced but that’s just movie theaters anywhere. I wish they brought in more foreign or indie films, but I suppose those don’t make as much money. $5 Tuesdays is a lot of fun when you get a group together.

Good. I wish they had the fancy recliner seats and Im bitter that they raised the prices on Movie Club. Doesnt feel like a great deal anymore. The concessions are nice enough. The odd thing about the seats is that sometimes the arm rests wont go up if I want to cuddle my wife. Like, most of the arm rests go up but some randomly... dont.

This is a great place to catch the next big movie. The popcorn is great, there are plenty of snacks, and its well maintained. The seats are comfortable -- though not anything special or extra plush. Overall it just has a really classic movie theater vibe.If youre looking for a budget movie theater experience $5 movie Tuesdays are an awesome Cinemark promotion. Any tickets you buy are just 5 bucks. I went almost every week during the Summer and had a great time spending ten bucks to get both my girlfriend and I into the movies.

This is a great movie theater. It is large and has many theaters. However I prefer the Provo or AMC theater, as those have recliner seats. Nevertheless, this is still a great theater that I come to regularly.

This is a very nice theater! The seats are pretty comfy, the sound is booming. $5 Tuesdays are awesome. Cinemark gets it right here!

Terrible customer service for one, secondly if we wanted to freeze through a movie we’d go to the drive-in. The next time you tell me you don’t take cash at concessions I will get a refund for my ticket and leave you to eat the cost of my concessions sitting on your counter.

I saw Midway here. Regrettably it was the small screen...but it was clean and the staff super friendly. Seats comfortable and roomy.

Was my first time here today. Its best to remember what theater you are in as there are no marquis to tell you what movie is in each theater. Also needs to make bathroom doors more obvious.

Goodness gracious. I had a mini lounge-fly bag with me and they made me take it out. I even opened my bag and showed them I just had my wallet in it and I was forced to take my bag out to the car. Now I have no wallet and I guess they loose money on the concessions I was planning on buying. I understand security but this is why bags are checked. They made a lady with six small kids take her purse to her car too.

Pretty decent movie theater! Their customer service is great, every employee I’ve talk to you here is very friendly and helpful. I left my wallet in the theater and they were very helpful getting it back to me with everything still inside.

The place was clean, but I guess it depends on the time of day that you are going as to the quality of service you get. The girl in the ticket booth was friendly and helpful, but once inside my date and I had a bit of trouble getting the attention of the usher to ask any questions or have our tickets read. Other than that we enjoyed or experience there and the movie.

This theatre is a little behind the times compared to other cinemark theatres. No reclining seats and slow flowing concessions. Otherwise, a good clean theatre.

It is a movie theater, do I need to say more?

My boyfriend and I are huge Marvel fans so of course, we went to watch End Game. The theater is so great! The workers were very kind but not too kind, the food and drinks were amazing. I loved the location in the mall. But the reason Im giving this a one star is because, we were a little less then half way through the movie when my boyfriend grabbed my arm and said in pain, Sydney! I think I just got bit. I was shocked and I looked at his leg. And yes, he had been bitten. We left the movie early. We dont know what he has been bitten by we went to the doctor but they said there was nothing to worry about, I dont think hes okay, my boyfriend keeps telling me that it has been itchy and it stings a lot, and the surrounding area has a burning sensation. Im really worried. Other than the mysterious bite the Movie Theater was a lot of fun and I would recommend it. Just be careful if you have theater number 13. thats the one where he got bit.

Ah, the Cinemark 16! I can buy gold cheaper by the ounce than this popcorn. You think gasoline prices are high? By the gallon, the soda is priced at $15.85. Well, thats okay. I still keep coming here once in a while. We saw the Peanut Butter Falcon, and I loved it. The seating here is nice, and I love the stadium format.

Great movie and popcorn. Reserving ticket was easy. Cleanliness could be better. Snack remnants were on the floor and walkways.

Theatre is nice. They need to figure out a more effective process for concession stands. It takes forever.

The theater was good with great spots to sit. The biggest is i lost my wallet and i was able to get it back the next day . they found it and nothing missing.

Pretty good, especially on $5 Tuesday (with a free membership/app). Seats are comfortable but dont recline (at least in theater 12). Picture and sound are great. Bathrooms are not disgusting, theater floors were not gross.

Great movie theater. Ive been to see two movies here very recently and both experiences were positive. The theaters and the bathrooms were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Like every movie theater, the concessions are overpriced but the ticket prices are competitive with other local places. I would have no reservations returning to this theater again in the future.

If only it had reclining chairs itll be a 5 star but other than that. Its a really great place to go on a date. Not to busy food and snacks are on point and great customer service

Can use some TLC, Lobby always looks dirty the prices for the entry are reasonable but I always get a feeling like bugs are going to crawl out of the corners!

This is a pretty great theater. For some reason it seems like they dont sell out the way other Cinemark theaters... so if youre looking on a busy night and other Cinemarks have few to no seats left try Provo Towne Center Cinemark.

I absolutely love how dark they have it. Not like DARK dark but they have a good atmosphere before you even get into the movie. Never had any bad experiences here.

I mean it’s a decent movie theater. The seats are pretty nice. I like the leather. The popcorn is just okay. It is better than the university location though. Megaplex still has the superior popcorn.

Clean theater and bathrooms, plenty of room in the entrance area/lobby and halls, temperature was comfortable, screen size was large and easily viewable, sound quality was loud and crisp, theater easily accessible via the parking garage on the west side of the mall near Dillards. Theater entrance is located on 2nd floor of mall, decent prices and Cinemark offers a membership club, and/or a free rewards program.

The cashier was rude. The move had teenage girls kissing. New Mutants promotes it. Walked out.

Average theater, over priced concessions but I guess thats expected now, the staff has no desire to be there it seems, dry customer service and sticky floors .

Concessions are a bit expensive, but the movies are great! Seats are definitely slowly upgrading in quality and the cinemark membership definitely helps with cost. Love this theatre!

Go if you want to stand in line forever! The front concession stand had only ONE guy working the whole thing on a Saturday night!!! The air conditioning was on while it was 26 degrees outside so bring blankets or wear winter wear! After the 7 oclock movie ends the theater empties into the closed mall while the escalator is even turned offl- its completely inconvenient!

Snack lines are too long and their seats are not reclining, but you pay just as much for tickets at other cinemarks that do have reclining seats.

Wow. Just stunned, I had one of the greatest experiences I have ever had AT ANY MOVIE THEATER all because of an employee by the name of Hunter. He made us laugh and put us so at ease, incredibly welcoming and even went so far to recommend the best type of candy to go with popcorn and drinks!! All around amazing! Definitely needs to be THE manager!! Will only come here from now on!

Always clean when I go, I wish they had recliners like the Spanish Fork theater.

This theater is about what you’d expect any Cinemark to be like. I’ve never had any bad experiences here, and I go at least once a month if not twice. Food at the food court at the mall is always great too. I always go right before or after a movie.

Clean and well maintained. Employees we came across were dressed appropriately and were polite, helpful and courteous. Do wish the seats in the theater were larger but they were comfortable.

Good movie theater. Only losing one star because I wish it had reclining seats. You pay the same amount you would for a ticket that would give you those.

Horrible, I took my daughter and her friend to a movie, I had a emergency, so I left them in the movie to see it. When I returned I learned that they kicked them out of a movie that an adult clearly gave permission to watch. In my opinion I was robbed of the ticket money I paid for them. I now understand why no one is going to movies anymore.

I went at the 9:50 showing on a Sunday night I think no I know that my boyfriend and I were the only people there I didnt see not one other person besides workers. I enjoyed it being quiet ave being the only 2 people in watching the movie let alone the entire theater. We saw aqua man and lets just say marvel is so much better than any DC comics therefore it wasnt the best theater was awesome however DC comics.. Aqua man sucked..

It be really nice if they didnt shove stuff in front of the drinks. So you could actually see the selection. They said it was on the tv asked for vitamin water told it was in a bottle. Really annoying.

Ive been to this place a lot and the seats are comfy, theater rooms are big and have lots of leg room. The sound is awesome. Cinemark always does a good job and this one in the Provo Towne Center is really well organized and easy to get around.

Its a nice large theater, it is clean, and the staff is very nice. A good place to go for a movie.

Ive been going here since I was a little girl and it was the only theater for miles. I like that it is in the mall, we used to get tickets and then hang around till the movie started. Now we just get our tickets online and show up right when the previews are starting, which is nice too. Its not usually too busy and I like the seats.

Overall, great place I like it, but man it needs warmer seats

Ah! This place is great! The theaters all have luxury seating, which includes a huge Lazy Boy leather recliner chair with a button to call for somebody to give you snacks and drinks, and the chairs recline electronically. They are extremely large chairs the seating also gives you great space for your feet whether you are in the luxury section or the standard section. They also have a lot of handicapped seats, and as a handicapped person that is something that I pay particular attention to. The sound is fantastic, wide, spacious, loud, clear and is what you would expect from a movie theater that was built in the last couple of years. There are a lot of theaters, I believe 16, and the screens are huge vibrant and this really is a great place to go watch a movie. They have fill your own soda fountains where you can select hundreds of different types of drink combinations. They serve Coke products. There snack bar has more than just candy and popcorn, including things like pizza and burritos and deep-fried fattening things that will make your arteries clogged by the end of the movie. And, isnt that exactly what we want? To die, fat, happy, from a heart attack after watching a wonderful slasher movie and eating enough grease to clog the citys sewers!?

Great location inside the mall. The theatres have a good layout, good sound. But by todays standards the seats are not as comfortable as other theatres.

Considering the Nachos...The tortilla chips do not fit very well inside the nacho cheese container. Wish they would fix that. Also wish their seats would recline like the Cinemark in American Fork. But I was able to get tickets to Avengers: End game where everywhere else was sold out. All in all. I was happy!

I actually really love Cinemark; the only reason Im giving this location 3 stars is because its getting old. I really hope that when the Provo Towne Centre remodels (if they do) Cinemark will take the opportunity to revamp this location with their luxury loungers, a couple XD cinemas and maybe even an IMAX auditorium.

I have to say. My wife and I are avid movie goers and I must say Hunter was the man that made our visit EXCEPTIONAL. I cannot stress enough how amazing and personable he was. He needs to be in management.

It had been a while since ive been to this theater. It was dirty, smelled awful!! The movie Jumanji was great!! But lux seats are almost everywhere & this theater room didnt. Sound left some to be desired.

We love going to this Cinemark location! The movie theater is always clean. The workers are nice. We love buying the popcorn and drink cups each year that you can pay to refill each time you go. We love watching movies here, especially when we can go on $5 Tuesdays.

Saw Frozen 2 such a great place to for a father and son night.

I love coming here on Sundays late at night. Its normally least crowded then. The seat are comfortable and when i use the cinemark movie club app it makes it super easy to get tickets. Way easier than movie pass and while the movie isnt free its still cheaper than buying it the regular way without the club membership. So its still a win for me. I like the point system and the discount on snacks too.

Reserved seats are cool and all... But when someone takes your seat but theyve got a wheel chair and you got crunches you let them have it. But when your with crutches and you are rudely asked twice to move ... Because you have your seat to someone in a wheelchair... Not cool. Not cool at all.

Friendly staff and good place to watch latest movies.

I had an odd experience, I came in to see Frozen. I was walking behind a young girl and her family, the ticket ripper, (I believe his name began with an A I didnt catch his whole name and he had dark hair) Started calling this young girl a Traitor and just kind of trash talking her but almost yelling at her as she was there to see a movie with her family. She was clearly uncomfortable by this confrontation, I dont know if they knew each other but she seemed quite bothered and it kind of made me uncomfortable with how loud she was talking to this girl. I have never seen this kind of employee behavior anywhere

Their website charged us fees for pre-existing tickets online despite we are premium members. I call the thereafter and they tell me they will refund me the fees. I get to the movie theater but they refuse to refund the fees...what a joke you are cinemark

It was just okay. Manager/security is pretty aggressive. Food court guy didnt want to talk to anyone. But the popcorn was good

Very nice theaters all with stadium seating, friendly & helpful staff, theres the usual concessions to select from but theyre a little bit costly.

The place is a little old and the theatres are generally small but the image and sound are great.

One of my favorite movie theaters. They have assigned seats, great snacks, popcorn is always fresh, and the Coke products from the fountain are tasty. Theaters are clean.

We watch a lot of movies here. Good seats that arent too cramped. But not as good as the luxury loungers in new theaters. And the screens have a few minor blemishes.

Twice Ive tried to put together a night with friends to go see a movie at this theatre. The first night, they cancelled the show we wanted to see. We rescheduled our evening for the following night. The following night the theatre cancelled the show the kids were going to see during the adult show (the adult show was the one cancelled the night before, same time).In other words, this theatre does not honor its posted showtimes. They will cancel your show, so dont plan an evening around a movie at the Cinemark 16 in Provo.

Great movie, the employees were very nice.

I was trying to get some snacks for my movie about a week ago and these three coworkers would not stop talkingto each other wouldnt give me the light of day even after asking for their names which was Jordan and Michelle nobody was in line it was just me they made me late to my movie took them 3 minutes for them to shut up and actually take my order. Its anoyying they need to learn customer service.

There was a movie and I was sitting in the wrong seat and there werent enough people to make me move. Going out of business 5 stars
