Service with a smile and an amazing array of ceramics and supplies. They offer kiln service and repairs too. This is the place to go!
Patty is awesome. Love her shop and classes
Sexist, ungrateful and demeaning.Ive been into ceramics for 40 years, and Ive gone to a lot of suppliers. This store has a lot of experience and a lot of stock, and thats the only reason Ive given them two stars, but of all the places Ive dealt with in 40 years, it is the absolutely unfriendliest place Ive been in. The only people theyre nice to are people in their classes or who are already their friends, and even then you have be in some higher inner circle because Ive stopped in several times over the past fifteen years and they still speak down to me and everyone else. Every time I place an order, they act like Ive disrupted their entire day, and I smile and nod and let them do their thing. But really, customer service, learn some. Yes, we know its fragile. We know its still green. Youre not the only ones who know anything about ceramics. And I dont know what it is, but they seem to find it weird that men would be interested or know anything about ceramics. It would be nice to actually ever walk into that store and feel like the owners and employees are at least SOMEWHAT grateful that you go there.I promise you, every single one of the good reviews here are from people who take their classes, are in the inner circles or arent men.Great product, great experience, couldnt be bothered to treat you like a customer though.
She has alot of pieces of ceramic. Very friendly people, very good price for there pieces.
Pretty cool selection of stuff.
My daughter and I have been coming to pattys for about 2 years now for ceramics classes. Patty and Joe are awesome they are super nice and we love them. Patty has a great eye for color and teaches us new techniques we have learned alot. Their products are awesome!
Love these guys! They have all the supplies I need to wax creative with pottery. I fire stoneware cone 6-7 and they have appropriate glazes. They even showed me how to fire the used kiln I purchased on KSL
So I dont do anything in ceramics and have no real intention of getting into the hobby. I went to Pattys because Im building a forge and I couldnt find a source of firebricks and thought they might know where I could find some locally. By chance they had a few but more importantly they had lots of helpful advice and some great insights into how to find resources for my progects. They were super helpful and friendly even though it was clear I wasnt going to be a regular customer. Its great that a business would share their expertise and give such good service even when it doesnt benefit them. If you need anything for ceramics you wont regret going there.
I want to second Denas comments. I dont know about ceramics, but we wanted a specific nativity set, and after two years looking we finally found it at Pattys. I love their place. More stock than you think could fit in a place that size, everybody working, in working clothes, with several people painting ceramics at a table, and visiting like theyve been friends for many years. Its a really folksy place. We received very good service, even when we went back and forth on whether to purchase a third camel. The price was really good. They took great care in packing the items so we could take them home to put the glaze on them. Today were going back to fire them, and then theyll be done. If you like ceramics, you have to visit this place. Its fascinating.
Great selection. Perfect customer service. Excellent prices. Knowledgeable staff. We can not wait to go back!
Love this store . Very nice people and love the quality of work they do .
Large selection of ceramics to be painted. Great customer care and good prices.
Wide array of ceramics to choose from. The wife drags me in at least once a a month and as long as shes happy, then Im happy.
They had an amazing selection of bisque ware. The prices are great and you can order molds or greenware as well. They have always been really friendly and are really kind and helpful. Which is great because I have kids with me when I come.
Pattys Ceramics has all kinds of ceramic things! You can buy greenware and clean it yourself and take it back to be fired or you can buy bisqueware which is greenware thats been cleaned and already fired. My family and I love to buy the bisqueware and paint them with acrylic paint, its like paint by numbers! We make all kinds of gifts for family and friends and they are gifts that are super thoughtful and super fun. Pattys is always helpful and reasonably priced.
Pattys is old school. And thats exactly why I like it. They are amazing people and I like going in there and find clay and getting my items fired and glazed.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. They have a huge selection to choose from. And on the plus side sometimes they have cute dogs there too.
Friendly home service, with a wide collection of un-painted ceramics. If you love painting ceramics this is a place to visit. Walls of paint and stains, brushes and anything else you might need. Of youve got that creative itch, Pattys Ceramics will help scratch it!
I always enjoy the shop owners and their great, personable customer service. I also really enjoy the beautiful and extensive selection of ceramics they have.
Patty and Joe are good people and are great to help with any ceramic question you have. They have a great selection of pottery supplies.
Very nice people and very helpful!
This place is able to fire porcelain in an exquisite fashion
They are always helpful when I have questions about a project.
Great selection, helpful and friendly. I have never had any problem and enjoy my stops by Pattys. Her staff have never been anything but kind and knowledgeable. As for Amandas comment if you have never cleaned greenware, it is very dirty job. It is like scraping dust and wet sand, and sticks to everything. It looks like thick, thick- we are talking Egyptian tomb looking thick dust. It sticks to everything including clothing, hair and everything else. Cleaning greenware is to smooth all the edges left by the molds edges, this has to be done before it can be refired into a smooth ready to paint bisque. The other shop you have been to may buy their pieces as bisque or have a seperate location where they clean. You wouldnt walking to a carpentry shop and not see sawdust all over during working hours or a mechanics shop and not see mechanics with oil and grime on their fingers. I dont pretend to know your exact situation, but you could have given your opinion without being rude and still got your message across. Kindness goes along way.
Helpful, knowledgeable, reasonably priced.
I like going in here. People are nice and very knowledgeable.
