Beautiful church.. little tricky getting parking but made out good..its always challenging finding parking in the city but all cities are the same

The Cathedral is absolutely beautiful. Breathtaking architecture has been maintained and restored throughout the years, and the structure is truly an architectural marvel for anyone of any denomination to appreciate. The ornate design is paralleled only by the acoustics which lend to a truly magical experience when listening to voices and instrumentation in concert or during Catholic mass. The pipe organ is a marvel in and of itself! Numerous performance groups hold concerts at the Cathedral, and Roman Catholic Mass is celebrated weekly. Parking is limited and it is best to use the metered parking on the main road or to pay to park in a lot. Wear appropriate shoes for walking on cobblestones and uneven sidewalks, and scarves and gloves are a must in the winter months when the side streets leading to the Cathedral act like a frigid wind tunnel. There is ample seating for just about any event, due to the buildings immense size. Bathrooms are clean and fully accessible. An elevator is available for those who require it.

Lucky to have made it in. The Church was locked, but we ran into a sister who was going into the office, she contacted maintenance, and they let us in to pray as they cleaned the church. Was not let down, a gorgeous interior.

I happened to attend the mass on Good Friday. It’s lovely and parish are quite disciplined. Architectural design is rustic yet heavenly. You can feel it’s so strong considering it’s built over 140 years ago.

A beautiful old cathedral in the heart of Providence. They have the largest mechanical operation organ in North America. The square outside could use some work. There are signs of neglect that dont present the church well. Would be a fine place to celebrate mass. I recommend visiting with a friend who can play the organ!

I called and wanted to do a coat and toy drive for the homeless to do something nice for the community and they said we dont do that here They did not seem interested or enthusiastic in doing something great for the community

This is a great cathedral church. You can find peace. This church has mass everyday. The people are always friendly with one another. There is parking for handicap people to.

Absolutely beautiful cathedral. I was here for the LaSalle Academy senior Mass. parking is a little difficult sometimes, if there is something big going on. Make sure you pay your parking meter if you park on the street.

Hateful, hateful organist and wife. I attended a wedding rehearsal and we all wanted to ask them, “Are you hateful all of the time or just with certain races?” We didn’t return their abuse I think because we were all so in shock of their behavior. They were even hateful when speaking of the homeless. Just hateful people. We prayed for you.

This place was a God send they helped feed the homeless in the rain, snow or shine their volunteers are very very dedicated to helping those that are less fortunate I was very very impressed. Thank you for love and care for those you feed

What a beautiful church!!! I never seen anything like it ever n being from South Boston Ive been in some gorgeous churches but none quite as beautiful as this one! It was grandest thing I ever seen

Awesome architecture

Beautiful. Classic. Visually mesmerizing. Historic. Astounding organ. Fantastic stained glass. Interesting paintings. Wonderful marble.Old-style pews with heating ducts running down the center. Complicated walking routes for receiving the Sacraments in an orderly manner. Has parking. Easy to reach by way of RIPTA or walking. No bike rack that I have seen.

They provide a nice service there..

A MUST visit for all Roman Catholics in RI.The very first time I attended Mass there, at the 100th anniversary of Fatima, I was in the crowd picture in RI Catholic!!!
