Great place to see the city. We went in early Nov and the leaves were changing. A bit of hike to get to with all the hill, but that didnt bother us. A lot of people here in a small space, so not very private or secluded view of the city.

A nice little hillside park on the east side of Providence with a great view of downtown. Awesome place to sit and read or just enjoy the day. Even saw a wedding here once. If you don’t have a car it can be a bit of hike to get here, but the view is worth it.

Definitely a cute little park with a great view of the State House and other downtown Provi areas. You can picnic here, take great photos, work out, relax, you name it!! And the Roger Williams Monument overlooking the park&city is also a great attraction of the park itself because he stands in a cool square structure with a modern vibe to it. The walk uphill to this park was great exercise! Will come again!

Prospect Terrace Park is on a hill on the East Side of Providence overlooking the city. It is a great place to stop by for a view of the city and the state capitol building. Sunsets may be very beautiful. Visit time may range from 5 minutes up to hours, depending upon whether you want to just have a quick look or make numerous sunset photos. You can also sit on the lawn or on a bench and enjoy a picnic, but there are no restroom facilities or tables. .

Nice green space in historic College Hill overlooking the city. It has a huge statue of Roger Williams and great views of the city skyline. Good place for a sunset picnic or a rest under a tree after exploring the hill. I found this place while on a run on College Hill, and came back to watch a sunset with my friend. It might be the best view of Providence that you can find. Its a nice place to share a quiet moment with good scenery, definitely worth a stop.

This was part of our tour of the city. Everywhere we stopped and got out of the bus was packed with historical significance. Our tour guide was very informative on the history of this diverse city. I believe this spot looked over a wonderful view of the city. This park is a little hidden treasure but wow is it a sight! This will let you see a perfect view of Providence from a tall hill. The statue of Roger Williams, the founder of RI, makes the spot even more significant.
