I always love going to the Parlour. Whether its the beer and cocktails or the everyone is welcome mentality, the Parlour never fails to provide a musical good time.

Beautiful and intimate bar. Truly an awesome experience. Jazzy, blues music and an attentive staff make this bar a must stop experience.

Reasonably priced drinks, and a good crowd. The food could pass at a 5 star restaurant in the city. Extremely sleeper place to have crazy flavorful food. Will not be disappointed.

The Parlour is a dynamic place with a good selection of draft beers, and some liquors and wines. They try and keep the food as organic as possible, and they do a good job, but they dont try too hard to create some craft menu.What they are about is a place to watch some good Jazz/Blues and soak in the best of a somewhat neat, somewhat gritty Providence arts and craft culture.Check out their jam session night each Thursday and see for yourself. I believe it is every Thursday, or second or third Thursday of the month. Breath in the beauty of a movement just getting started in building a jazz/blues community in the Creative Capital.

I was there the other night. I had 2 can beers and at the end of the night, I forgot my credit card. I went to pick it up the next day, the guy at the bar was really rude and made me wait a long time to attend me. He had a bunch of people on the bar, but even when he finished, he just ignored me, for several minutes. When he finally came around and gave me my card, he told me they closed my tab, with a charge of $38 and 20% of tip! $46 total, for 2 beers! They are thiefs there.Also, the karaoke is really bad, they have a little screen sitting on the floor for you to follow the lyrics.NEVER GOING BACK TO THAT PLACE!

If guys with large amounts of facial hair and bud light is your thing then this is your spot. I had an okay time I didn’t pay for anything I had bearded guy to my right one to my left and at end of the night I politely said I had to leave. These guys in here were polite I was at a club early that night and they weren’t as polite in the other spot coliseum or whatever.

I have been here once for their once-a-month Shanty Sing--a family friendly event where a bunch of kids dance to a live band. The band was maybe a little loud. But the overall feel of the bar was great. They have an interesting beer selection (meaning a craft beer selection that shows some thought) and a lived-in feel. Essentially, my wife and I realized this would be a great neighborhood bar. With the feel of a dive bar but the beer selection of owners who believe in serving really good beer.

This is good place for live music. You are close to the performers so it feels more intimate.

I was there on an open mic Tuesday. It was fun to listen to talented musicians who shared their talent. Beers cost around 5 dollars. The environment is young and alternative. In addition the sound wn live siena very well.

The bartender with the freckles was amazing. Guy with the dreads was really cool. Will come back again

This is a great spot, they support all kinds of local music from rock to jazz and R&B; just wish they would add a soul/funk open mic to accommodate the growing number of musicians here who dont want to play rock/metal/punk/blues, though.

Great place for live musical entertainment and dancing. Especially enjoy the first Friday of the month venue.

This place is always popping on the weekends. Sometimes there is live music going and it is very enjoyable. It goes late and i always have a good time. If you wanna kick back and dance this is the spot. It has very unique atmosphere. I recommend dressing casual and relaxed.

Best lil corner bar ever!

If I could give negative stars I would! I went here for the first time last night for a friends birthday and it was 1am so I thought i would ask the door man, which ended up being one of the owners, if he would cut me a deal as the night was practically over and we were going to buy drinks, which they shouldnt have even been selling alcohol after 1 am, FYI they were. He yelled at me, I then paid and he continued to yell at me. He was a complete jerk. Have you ever heard whats the harm in asking, I guess this guy hasnt. Totally unporfessional, maybe he was drunk? I have never been and Ive lived in RI my entire life I will most definitely never go back!

Really nice staff, awful music, I left with a headache. I wouldnt go back if i had to listen to the head banging music

Great bar staff, interesting drinks. The shows here are usually pretty cozy too. And of course Fridays have karaoke, so bring your talent.

I give it this much cause of the guys who run the karaoke ...... they need to not have their own party on stage while other people are singing. It bugs them and its disrespectful..... atmosphere was great everyone gets along and bar staff was awesome!

Great place to see a show, grab a drink, or join in for some karaoke. Great food too! Everything Ive tried, has been good, but I really love the sliders with Gorgonzola.

Terrible!!! I ordered a margarita on the rocks (cannot drink beer, so limited) just saying the drink had absolutely no flavor of tequila at all. It was like a pintglass full of sour mix. Overpriced for subpar quality drink. The local open mic guys were decent.

Not only was the music scene amazing on a Wednesday night but The Parlour also offers a great beer selection and a delicious organic and local menu. I got the Bill Walten, which is to die for. Another favorite for my boyfriend are the angus sliders. This place is definitely a great underground bar where everyone can have a great time.
