Killer place to hang out! The sites are well kept and very clean. Good variety of options based on what style of camping youre doing. We hammockd overnight and it was great!!

Clean, well laid out campground. We had no issues with a E350 van and a 24 foot trailer. Nice spot.

Great canyon to take a drive through. There is a water fall just before you get into Helper on the right if your going into Helper from the canyon that is pretty cool to see. Theres a place to pull off and park where you can walk up to it.

Beautiful campground! Great views over the back of the mountain and on your drive up and down. You are literally camping on top of a mountain, it was amazing! Was not too busy when we arrived around 6/7 but as the Sun got lower it stared to fill up. There are about 12 camping spots most are quite private. I would recommend pants if you plan on doing any hiking as there are thorns along parts of the trails.

We arrived on a Thursday evening in August. Plenty of availability and wonderfully cool. The road is steep but paved all the way.

Nice small out-of-the-way Campground. $8 per night. At least one handicap space. Several strategically-placed bathrooms. Nice fire rings, and the camping areas are kind of flat and level.

Its absolutely brilliant and worth the small drive all the way to the top of the lookout

Not a lot of people go up, so there is always privacy for a small area. Its great for picnics, wedding, overnight camping, and scenic beauty. Depending on the time of year, you can see a variety of animals. And if you dare walk the wilderness, shed hunt on south facing slopes. Beware of bears and large cats, being that it is a much higher elevation. Happy adventuring!

I really like this place and come here once a year. Its off the beaten path but no water access. And the water thats provided is usually off every time we go. Other than that, the camp grounds are nice and bathrooms are clean.

Its a long and windy drive up, not worth a lunch stop. But nice for a longer visit and view of the canyon. Very quiet.

Beautiful country, the Summit can be tricky when it is snowing.

Great area for day group adventures. Get out of the heat of the valley. Enjoy one of the many improved picnic sites, hiking trails and beautiful views overlooking the castle valley.

This is a small fairly primitive and old BLM Campground that is a great place to stop for the night, Especially for tent camping. Camping fee is only eight dollars, water is still off and they do not have trash pick up. The out houses were in good condition. There is some water damage on the road through the campground and in the campsites. Good spot to see the nighttime sky.The only sign we saw for the turn is right at the turn off. Currently there is highway construction right at the turn off so the turn off can be tricky.

Didnt stop, but the ride through down the interstate was beautiful.

We were passing through Utah on our way home and really needed a place to sleep. This campsite was perfect for us and it was only $8 for the night.
