Its small but a really neat ce park with a big fountain in the middle an lots of wildlife and in the summer they have lots of events for many times of people a have noticed a ride in drug activity in the later hours of the day but its great in the mornings
I feel for the massive homeless population we have in this area of the country. Go help feed the hungry, its our duty.
I like going there, to get a piece of mind and people watching. Cause Portland is DEFINITELY weird in it own WAY...
It was incredibly peaceful and beautiful. It was a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city. Its large with plenty of walking paths and beautiful flowers.
Must go and visit especially if you love catching pokemon lol theres lots of space to explore
I was parking, its pretty nice parking! I visited Holiday Park Plaza back when I was about ten years. My step-grammy was 97 years. We celebrated her b-day at Roses delicatessen. Is that last word spelled right? So just one star cuz its just parking. Ill be back to talk more about holiday park plaza.
During the summer this fountain is one of the most popular with moms and kids after a movie and Some retail therapy at Lloyd Center
Nice peaceful quiet and safe place
A well-intended city park that is known to attract a more negatively-natured crowd. Would definitely recommend keeping an eye on your stuff while here. Right between the Lloyd Center Mall and a primary MAX vein.
Horrible! I was abandoned here. Hee never returned here. He did return. After he went home, over 2hours away. He remains entitled to treat me this way. I stay. I deserve it.Beautiful park. Close to all things Portland!
Gorgeous, low trafficking, clean
Its always nice to see a bit of nature in the city. Holladay Park does this, and it does it well. It has lush green grass, a fountain kids can play in, and its right next to the Max Station. Good for a stroll or just to pass through on your way to the Lloyd Center mall.
Lots of rats, and it smells like urine at night. Some of the outer sections for grass are balding significantly. But it has good bones! Big beautiful trees, a nice splash pad, lots of benches to read a book, and its in a good location. Im glad the city has this place especially just off a max stop I just wish it was loved and kept up with a bit more.
No schedule for rehab, staff shows a lack of courtesy and respect to patients; didnt answer bell for 2 hours. What if it the call was serious. There is something seriously wrong going on here. Majority of folks are older and less verbal. I have talked with Upper Management and nothing changed. Today I called and still no response from Resident Care Manager. Very disappointed with their services and lack of courtesy. Complete failure in my review. 1 star is too much. I was told Holladay Park had the best rating and nurses from Providence go there for rehab. I have a call to them about this issue.
Pleasant mid-town park which has a kids water fountain. I saw quite a number of kids enjoying running through it - and a couple of adults too. Others were just enjoying the outdoors, reading and/or eating lunch. Id happily return given the opportunity.
This may be more sentimental for me since its the location of the finish line of the STP! Ive ridden a few years now. Great place!
Good to just go relax and collect your thoughts.....
Attractive picturesque park, open space with a memorable fountain & statues. I only biked thru it, intermittently stopped at certain points & took in the surroundings during the day. Unfortunately homeless people can be observed in the park. So I can only guess what goes on in the evening...hence the urine smell in the air. If the park is truly valued for the gem it is in the community, affordable housing may be the partial key in resolving that issue coupled with more frequent police patrol.
This is a convenient spot to stop off & chill for a short time. Located just as downtown Portland begins, the people-watching is pretty interesting here. However, it comes stocked with the usual panhandlers asking for spare cigarettes & change. Oftentimes, there are activities & music here in the daytime. Shady spot for lunch if you work in a nearby building.
Park is on the light rail line across the street from the Loyd Center mall. It has an eclectic bit of statuary, but none of it is in your face offensive. There is no play ground. The neighborhood has mostly office buildings.
Attended VegOut 2019 here. What a beautiful park! I loved the water display and the gorgeous old trees. Its such a peaceful park and you can catch the light rail right out front.
Chill and pretty park. Has a nice fountain and local activity sometimes and its right next to the max and the mall. Only slightly annoyingly constant police patrols drive through the park but other than that its a great park.
Love my park. Thanks to me blacks dont get harassed at that park as much
Its flat and provides a great resting place during the hot part of the summer.
Its and ok place to visit during the day but not the night
I meet my friend here every time we go to shows. Long live thrash metal!!
Itd be a really great park, if it wasnt half-way between a Mall, a school, Heroin Ally and Slaver Central. I miss the fountain.
Beautiful park with lots of trees. Right at MAX red, green, blue. Walking distance to Fab eats on NW Broadway. Park has many activities - exercise classes, ping pong, fountain for kids to play, lots of seating.
Definitely not a place I would recommend. Its not really a park. More of a green space with benches here and there and a walkway for traveling between the light rail station and Lloyd center. Theres people sleeping, drug use right in the open, and people begging for money who can be very aggressive. I think I preferred it when people were shooting. That entire area is trash.
This is a nice park it was designed to have family fun its kept clean good place to walk your dog and
Love Portlands parks in the middle of the city. This one is beautiful, as well.
I love to just relax in this park..unwinding from a long day,, great shade and cool air..
Nice park. Just bring your flack jacket after hours
A cool place to hangout, has a large fountain and lots of benches
This place is amazing pretty much the only place to go to cool down during summer,, the park is very well kept, bathroom open in summer hours posted on line.
Very nice Park kid friendly
Mr Holladay would cringe.
A beautiful Park
Its a cute park... theres a lot of homeless down in the area though... so you will probably be asked for five bucks or somethin or hear some sob story... but its still nice.
Safer than I expected at that time of night. Guy in a wheelchair was there, and some kids. Got offered drugs about a block away from this place. 10pm or so. Should be fine in daytime.
This is a park downtown. It is always busy. There seems to be something happening here each weekend. The play structure is nice. My kids enjoy a little break here to play on sunny days.
Fun place for STP event. We went there today and it was exciting. Racers were pouring in and folks were cheering them. Lots of big smiles and happy people. They even had a huge portable shower building...yes...it was as building on wheels. There was many good food carts...we chose tacos and they were delicious. Loyd center was kind enough not to charge for parking which was awesome and it took a ways the parking in Portland stress. I liked that the park had the fountains on so people could cool off. Great event ..I believe Kaiser Permanente was the sponsor.
Its a beautiful park to walk through especially during fall. There are active members of the community there that do walks through the park to help keep out the shady business. Which is fantastic, but doesnt completely solve the problem. You are likely to get approached by someone wanting something from you and there are a lot of drugs being done in this park.
While waiting for the Japanese garden to open, I walked down the hill to holladay park to view the rose garden. The Roses were budding but had not yet started to show blossoming. It is such a peaceful area to take a stroll in. The area over looks parts of Portland that is just breathtaking.
Pleasure to take a walk through. Ping pong and fountains to enjoy
Nice place to rest up. Not really for children.
Its nice, but there are better parks. Be careful. If you show up just after school, or during holidays, expect to be harassed by high school kids with nothing better to do. Otherwise, its a matter of vagrants looking for a handout and ready to take you for anything they can, so dont linger there after dark. Basically, dont bother unless you have 5 minutes to kill before you catch a Max.
Get to sit outside and enjoy the nature around you and breath in fresh air sit and sketch
Go there during the day and its pretty. At night it becomes a campground
Lots of homeless hang out in this area so it makes it hard to enjoy.
This park is only good for a few things. Drugs and the threat of being shot and or stabbed. Avoid walking through here at any and all times of the day and night. Seriously avoid this place like The Plague. If you have to walk through here do it quickly and with your wits about you.
Such amazing vibez there.*___A×G____* wasnt able to order yet would love too niccccce stuff.
Actually, Holladay Park was fenced off for local construction. It looks a full block of grass, walkway, sculpture. Very pretty.Next to Lloyd Center right on the Max.
I was there to pick up a person doing STP. Looked nice, but cant say much. Was dark with like 300 people there.
Went to an event here recently. The vegan beer festival. Not as much beer tasting opportunities as I thought, but it was a cool place to enjoy a sunny afternoon.
Good open space, hub of free and paid events, travelers information Center, public restrooms, outlet for public transportation tickets
Another, little piece of Heaven, right in between the Max train platform & the Loyd Center Mall. Many big trees with shades picnic tables. Also a Fountain area for kids of all ages! Two Ping Pong tables as well. Nice to relax for a while. Traffic sounds & foot traffic for people watching. (No Restrooms available)
This is a park downtown. It is always busy. There seems to be something happening here each weekend. The play structure is nice. My kids enjoy a little break here to play on sunny days.
My absolute favorite park in Portland. Trees lots of trees a splash area for all in summer great family fun throughout the year
Nice to have a green space right in the middle of a commercial area. Music in the park is good too.
Whole city blocks as parks with statues, benches, green spaces. Very nice to sit and eat a sandwich on your lunchtime.
Not exactly the best place to hang out. Usually Im just exiting Lloyd Center and headed to the Max. Moderate crime area with fair amount of drug use. I usually see police around.
Do you like drugs? This might be the place for you. A friend of mine got a gun pulled on him for trying to hand this guy his wallet. Maybe skip this place.
One of the least safe parks in the entire country
Nice place to walk, shaded
Great place to walk your dog. Calm quite and just wonderful.
Very nice spot to relax and kick back. Great spot to host events.
Beautiful fall day in Portland enhanced by the garden in the middle of this park...
We mostly go to this park to play Pokemon Go. Theres a good number of pokestops, and if you walk around the path you can get good egg hatching distance and lots of items. In the summer theres often a shade tent with board games and other fun stuff for families (or adults who refuse to get old ;) )
Great real estate opportunities for your tent. You can just pull up any chunk of sidewalk and move in RIGHT NOW as witnessed by myself and Mark Dobbs.
Its fine, its a park. Sometimes theres fun stuff here. Easy access to the mall and the max line.
Safe and clean park with lots of trees and a huge fountain to cool off in. Also a heavy Police presence to make everyone feel safe
NICE PLACE TO BE DURING SUMMERTIME.
A bit creepy if you ask me
The area was filthy. There were rowdy groups screaming and cursing and absolutely no sign of any security. This is not a place that I would walk through let alone spend time at. Considering the park is bordered on the South by the TriMet tracks, the West by a nice hotel, the North by the Lloyd center mall and the East with a movie theater it seems like they could join together and make sure that the place was safe clean and had adequate Security .
Idk why, Ive just always thought of this to be a serene environment
Gorgeous park
Its nice to have lunch hangout and than youve got loydecenter mall across the street and other shopping stores
Nice Park. Could be in a better location... But thats the Point. Thank God for this nice respite from the oppressive tastelessness of the Lloyd District.
I walk through here to get to work and theres always people who heckle at me and I never feel safe. Generally try to around the block to avoid this park
Nice park....take care for the transients.
I was passing through on a sunday morning. Not nearly as many people. Seemed very peaceful
Nice grassy knoll, beautiful year round but excellent in the summer time.
