Such a lovely place to immerse yourself in the forest only a few steps from the city.

Right off the Terwillger trail. No play structures just trees and a picnic table with winding paths and cool, fresh air.

Not too many people, easy to social distance, and lots of old growth trees. Gorgeous forested area.

A smallish beautifully wooded little park with a trail going down to Corbett. A few picnic tables make for a nice spot for lunch, but not much of a destination in itself.

Trails are clearly marked and by the looks of it people use these trails. Not your typical bum portlander. The people who visit here are respectable

I mostly go to this park because theres a nice trail up from Corbett to Terwilliger. Theres a nice viewpoint nearby, at the end of short deadend road Parkhill Way, with view of the city and mountains to the east.

Great secret canyon hike in the middle of the city. Despite the roar of I 5 there is peace to be found in the woods. All manner of wild of wildlife, including Elk!

A beautiful walk with your dogs and maybe a stroller. Cool breeze and piicnic tables under lots of huge trees. Right off Terwilliger, but parts of the walkway are not right next to the busy thoroughfare. Beautiful, hilly neighborhood.

One of several great parks along the Terwilleger corridor. The park has a few picnic tables and provides great views of the city. There is even room to throw the Frisbee if you are so inclined.

Its alright for wondering in a park in Portland. Can be muddy and steep at time but other than that it is a pleasant experience. There seems to be an overlook but it was getting dark so I didnt get to check it out maybe next to.
