This area smells very bad. The parks are no longer safe for the average citizen. The trash and vandalism is everywhere. Always drive with doors locked and do not allow yourself to be surrounded by a mob. Personal safety first!

We came to fight fascism. The city is bruised but we will rebuild. This is the price we pay to keep the knees of would be tyrants off our necks.

Liked this area, but lots of homeless people around walking, sitting, or laying down. However its was safe due to the Justice Center right across the street. Cops were also all around. Kids were able to sit and rest while we were on an urban hike of City Center Portland.

They finally got rid of those distracting statues! So much easier to enjoy the verdant beauty of Portlands premier downtown square!

Just a small downtown park across from the US Courthouse and jail. I went with a friend who wanted a few portraits there.

Beautiful park, but the negative energy from the occupants in the buildings around it, makes it a place I dont recommend.

This is a nice park to take a break. Sometimes theres a good protest next door. You can take naps here. Theres a bathroom.

Chapman square is a ideal place to chill out and enjoy the watching the world go by.

Very nice and clean park. Being in the centre of the city, its very peaceful. In hot summer days it provides good summer shade.

I dont like Ill informed protesters camping in the park. Graffiti the restrooms with hate speach as they say they are protesting hate. Obviously they are ok with hate as long as its their opinion. So the park sucks until they are cleared out.

Its a simple little park across from City Hall.

I gotta say even with all the unwanted activity in this park portland manages to keep this park groomed n clean.
