My room was beautiful. I loved the glass walk in shower, the Murphy bed was like sleeping on clouds and the kitchenette offered all necessary amenities. Bonus: there is a safe in the utility closet for your valuables. My room also offered a view of the park across the street. There were many fantastic restaurants within walking distance. We tried Lechon for cocktails. Excellent!!

Nice room.. we had a studio. Staff was nice and provided great service. We celebrated my bfs birthday here. We also attended a ownership meeting.Jeff was great and patiently answered all our questions. The other guy, paulo, was a little pushy, wanting to make a Big Sale upgrade with out us fully understanding what we already have... The new wrist band key cards to unlock the doors was cool.

Being a weird year, 2020, Portland kept that reputation up. The staff was AMAZING, the room was so urban, I loved it. AWESOME. Restaurants were Dee-lish, open, social distancing was enforced. It was a happy place for me, looking forward to going back w/o Covid!

We had a studio, it was clean, neat, and up to date amenities. Staff was 5 stars. The hotel was 5 stars. Valet is $35/night. Location was excellent. We attended an owner update: Jack was friendly and helpful. We learned a few things about our timeshare: like it was meant in an owner update.Paolo, Jacks supervisor was too pushy and clearly upset we didnt spend a bunch of cash. What a deal for already being owners of this timeshare makes you feel important. Thanks Paolo and Wyndham.

Nice resort but more of a downtown flavor. No swimming pool or Jacuzzi, but a nice apatio area with a fireplace and barbecue. Near the water front.we had a nice 1 bedroom over looking the waterfront. The agents were nice as usual. So far so good 1st nite here.

Great service as is standard with my experiences with Worldmark. Our room was imaculate and all needs were either already met on arrival or promptly responded to by WM staff. The ONLY downside to this particular property was the absence of a hot tub. Alas, you cant always have it all. This is a great location nonetheless with plenty to do in the Portland area, easy access to MAX (public rail line) which was a huge plus!

Im an owner. Very disappointed with high pressure sales again. Our car was broken into, rear window completely smashed, my daughters gifts were all stolen. No warning or courtesy (please remove everything valuable) from staff on Friday night or Saturday night that guests cars may get broken into because your cars are placed in the public parking on Friday and Saturday but still charged the same parking/valet fee. Huge homeless problem a few hundred feet from the hotel. I will never take my family to this Worldmark or Portland downtown again. Very, very disappointed with management from this Worldmark Portland Waterfront Park. I will not recommend this hotel for anyones safety. Only good thing was the rooms were clean, new and nice. That is it. I would honestly give this Worldmark 0 out of 5.

This is the new WorldMark building. The location is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful. I think they should have put hot tubs on the terrace oh, and theres a lot of noise from the waterfront when theres an event going on which is pretty much the whole summer but that is to be expected if you choose to stay on the main Street in downtown Portland. The staff was very attentive and we played a couple of fun games of shuffleboard in the lobby on small shuffleboard tables all in all its a gorgeous place.

Nice and specious. Valet parking $35 a night, no breakfast. Don’t book a room near the main road to water front, it’s noisy and you can hear all the cars moving.

Review №19

The room was nice enough and the staff were friendly, but the chairs for the table in the room were designed for small children, the drawer handles stuck out with hard edges and the shower leaked a lot. Overall a pleasant trip though. Didnt hear a peep from the neighbors and the blackout curtains were fantastic given my ridiculous sleep schedule. We could clearly hear people outside from our 3rd floor room, which was mildly annoying. Despite my negative nature Id rate it a 4/5 and would go again.

Had a great time, rooms are spacious and beautiful. Staff was genuinely kind and helpful. We all enjoyed the firepit. We didnt encounter any sales people. Our chrome cast was never able to connect (but we ended up getting movies from down stairs so kids were happy). Cons. Valet parking (which we didnt do) was $47 a day. Not too much stuff for kids to do around the immediate area. At times the card to use the elevator was tricky to use.

(Full disclosure: Although we havent yet had an opportunity to stay at this resort, my husband and I have been given tours of several types of rooms, and informed of the amenities.)After having visited the WorldMark Portland resort on two occasions, and seen several rooms, my husband and I have a positive impression of the facility and the staff. Each of the rooms we saw was tastefully decorated, and had many nice features. The furniture was comfortable and inviting, and the rooms were impeccably clean. All of the rooms we toured had very nice kitchen areas, that appeared to be well supplied with dishes, utensils, and cookware; we especially appreciated the extra details, such as the quiet, soft-close drawers. Each room had a designated dining area, with a table appropriate for the size of the available space. Finally, the stackable washer and dryer in each room we visited would be exceptionally convenient, although I believe there are some smaller rooms that do not have a washer and dryer.Over the course of several visits, on different dates, my husband and I interacted with quite a few employees, including those at the valet station and the front desk, as well as other staff members. Everyone with whom we had contact was friendly and helpful.I gave a 4 star rather than a 5 star rating given that we havent actually stayed at the facility, and because there is no pool or hot tub on site. (In my personal opinion, a facility is not a true resort without a pool and/or a hot tub!) However, I believe we were told that guests would have access to use a nearby pool. If we have an opportunity to stay at the WorldMark Portland resort, I will reassess this review in light of our experiences, and update the rating accordingly.

Very nice place, great location and friendly, helpful staff. We were accosted with a welcome pack trying to convince us to sit through a 90 minute time share presentation, but luckily the guy gave up after asking 3 times ( it is a time share property and we were staying as guests, so no surprise). Also not all of the outlets in the room worked. Bed was very uncomfortable and woke up with a very stiff back. Other than that, a wonderful stay.Update: A week after sleeping on the Murphy bed in the studio suite, both of our backs are still in considerable pain. Would not stay again because of this.

Nice facility. But I kinda dislike it when you arrive and you are swarmed with people insisting on parking your vehicle, taking your luggage and wanting you to sit through a 1 hour session that ALWAYS turns into two hours and somebody acting like you are about to make them unemployed because you wont agree to purchase more points. If you get the studio, be prepared to stay in a room so small you barely have room to change your mind. It was literally half the size of a room at any Holiday Inn Express if that big....but it worked. It didnt have a view of the river, rather we had a view of a downtown parking lot. But did I mention it was a nice facility?

The building is absolutely gorgeous. They are high tech and have great security. The staff are amazing and friendly, and the view is terrific. The question is, why in God’s name would anyone spend $300m building this beautiful hotel, and not put in a parking garage?! $49 per night to Valet park my car in a public lot? You kinda of have to, because the neighborhood is not safe- at least according to the friendly young man working at the desk/door. “If you go out at night, only go south- north is not safe”.Bums in every doorway every morning, drug paraphernalia on the sidewalks, and the smell of cheap food carts filling the air. Yeah, no thanks. I will stay elsewhere next time.

Way too loud. Hallways have no insulation. You can often hear doors slamming (constantly)., people talking etc. if you want a good nights rest, I don’t suggest this place. If you want to sleep in, good luck. It’s not loud at night but even as early as 6am garbage trucks, music and of course doors slamming. Might have to do that there’s a 3 inch gap under the door. Also, feel bombarded with salesmen trying to sell you more points. Not that we don’t pay enough to stay here. Very inconvenient and uncomfortable. Valet is a joke not only costly but nowhere to pull in. 40 bucks a night plus tips. We decided to park a block away. Room is mediocre.

Brand new resort right on the waterfront. The front desk staff are very friendly and although the parking pass staff (sales) are a little pushy, it did not retract from a nice time. The resort is less than a minute walk from the max rail. This makes it easy to get around downtown Portland. If you dont want to ride the max you can simply walk to several restaurants right by the resort. Shopping is also close by. Nordstrom Rack, Ross Dress for Less, and CVS are just up the street.I didnt go to the Saturday market, but I believe it is across the street and a few blocks north of the resort. If you get a chance to do that, by all means do! It is a fun time!

I made it clear that I was not interested so not to ask me anymore as I was not going to...PERIOD! My room was called about twice, but I didnt answer it so I dont know what the call was about. As far as valet parking for $39 to $49...dont do it! You have to call ahead whenever you want your car and theres no obligation to tip. I downloaded ParkingKitty and was able to use the meter, spending no more than $25 for my 3 night stay. I had no trouble finding street parking. See photos of various parking options.

After a small booking error was made I was turned away without any sort of problem resolution other than to pay more money than the room was booked for to have the error corrected. I wished the staff was more accommodating but I was very stuck with their lack of professionalism. I wish they knew that their job was to treat customers well rather than turn them away if they wouldn’t fork over more money. Never even got to see my room. Also, TONS OF HOMELESS EVERYWHERE!
