We just saw Smokefall and absolutely loved it. A brilliant, emotional experience that really makes you think. The actors were amazing. The play has you laughing out loud at times and in tears the next. So creative and well done. Thank you!!

Fun, funky little theater. You can take your coffee/wine/beer from the attached coffee house in. Very small, quirky. This is clearly a group if people who love what they are doing. It is pay what you want/can, which is fantastic for exposing people who usually couldnt afford to go see a play the opportunity to enjoy live theater. The staff were quite nice as well.

Weve seen some very interesting off the wall shows here and have definitely enjoyed them. The small space pulls you into the show and keeps you in. Since the entrance & theater is located behind the coffee shop, it can easily be missed... so look out!

Incredible plays, directed by local artists. Most plays touch on interesting/sensitive issues, sometimes personal, sometimes political, sometimes both. Im never disappointed with a visit to Defunkt.
