The host was AMAZING. This place was so much fun. Very educational at that. Had lots of laughs. It’s definitely a must see. 5 stars across the board. Would visit again.

This place is wonderful. Just an absolute delight for anyone who likes quirky museums, fashion, history of any kind, and people with intensely specific interests. Wonderful experience and my favorite thing to do when I have company in town. Go!

This is a one-of-a-kind historic treasure. Our guide Lu Ann was knowledgeable and passionate about hat history. The museum itself is in a historic home. Do not miss this museum!

My partner and I went on this tour and it was by far the best part of our trip. If you dont leave this tour both excited to go get a hat for yourself and also make Lu Ann (the director) your new best friend, so you can just hear her talk about history and her incredible life stories, then something is deeply flawed in you. This museum has an amazing collection, and Lu Ann does an excellent job of tying in the evolution of hats, with modern culture and historic events. I guarentee you will not regret this tour!

Wonderful place to visit. Small group tours are perfect for being able to see all the hats and hear their interesting stories! Reopens in May. Its well worth it!

My wifes birthday has me visiting. She loved the museum and I think the did a old job of displaying hats and providing a tour. We visited a hat store afterward to by hats to celebrate.Edwardian and Victoria period womens hats are on display when you walk in. Nice old house in a great part of Portland
