Not even close to a real casino style. It shouldnt have the word casino associated with it, but the word gambling, sure. Its more like a mama and papa Saturday night gambling table.
Excellent atmosphere. Great games. Great dealers!
2nd best tournament venue in Portland and always has 1-2, 2-5 cash games. Staff is friendly and food is above average. One of my favorite poker halls.
Well run, dealers know what they are doing, good action.
Great place to play poker. Would recommend it to poker Players in town looking for a good place to play. I travel an hour Just to play their. Staff is friendly. Plenty of Room to roam Enough Room to hold big tournaments without feeling like youre Cramped like some poker rooms.Food is decently priced and taste good.
Never had to wait more then 5 min for a seat. (Yet.) Comfy chairs. Friendly dealers mostly. Great Buy in range and pool of players. Many players are chatty and amicable which I prefer. And so close by!
Fun friendly place, great dealers. Always look forward to coming back.
None of the tables have access to electric power. No outlets for phone chargers or portable Oxygen Converters (POCS). ROOM IS LARGE ENOUGH FOR DECENT SIZED TOURNAMENTS.Tournament Structure is BIG BLIND ANTE(Double Big Blinds vs individual antes). This is Not good, especially considering the 20 minute rounds with a small amount of chips for a Big Blind Ante. If you dont acquire plenty of chips in the first 4 rounds, you most likely will be blinded OUT...UNLESS You get lucky when the Double Big BLINDS Start..Room is uninviting. Drab dull esthetics, looking a bit dingy .Nothing warm or inviting.Even though the staff member I spoke with answered the questions I asked, he spoke as if a chore to do so. Actually, discouraged me from playing. I use a POC/Portable Oxygen Converter. I could clearly see, one of the tables was close enough to a wall with outlets to charge my POC, He offered NO accommodations, saying only You never know which table will have an empty seat..!There were a few tables with the same game (I believe 3). This would allow for accommodations..
Always a great time
In for business trip. Thought I give it a chance. Had to pay $15 to play as they have no rake or Monty. Carlo board which sucked as I was at a table where a player hit Quad Jacks. Also had to tip dealers in cash no chips and dealers not in uniform. But like I said good game and plenty of action and tables. Definitely be back if in town again
Have played here for about a week now and it is a great place. The food is not half bad at all and they give you nice proportions. Most of the dealers are fun and friendly and most of the players you run into are regulars and decent players. Did not run into a bunch of donkey players surprisingly. Definitely a good, local poker place I would recommend to just about anything who loves Texas Holdem.
First time there and was really fun. People were friendly, staff was great.
Very clean establishment the employees show professionalism and they treat you with kindness
Very nice place to play at. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. I really enjoyed my time there. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family.
The service was good and the players were terrible! Loved it!
Cool place. Played in the tournament... 50 dollar buy in, blinds increase pretty slowly. Then played 1-2 NL game, had a lot of fun. Friendly staff, good food, good poker!
I love winning
Every once in a while when the lady is out of town, Ill head down to play some cards here. Open til 2 (I think every night) with lots of options for play. Nice folks, processional dealers, table service, all the trappings of a casino poker room without having to drive an hour.
Pretty good card house. Drama seems to be commonplace at the cash tables.. Encore is definitely a more professional environment, but still my choice for cash games so far.. Encore for tourneys..
Cool place. Professional and the other players were helpful and friendly...always a blast as long as youre winning
Love it.
Not worth it for the cover charge.
From out of town and they took the time to explain rule differences with shootouts vs. cash games. Good structure for tournaments and the food was good.
Fun, safe place to play cards! Great dealers, great fellow players
Good people and a good place to kill some time
Fun place! I intend to visit again!
Great place for birthday partys, and good price. Lots of fun for all.
Professional & friendly. They run great poker tournaments and cash games. Safe and clean operation.
Fast efficient operation. Friendly staff always willing to help.
