Boys Fort is my home away from home. I love going there. In fact, I make it a point to go by there as much as possible. The selection of clothing, gear, and everything in between is so worth checking out. I posted some images in this review.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this store!! There are so many unique, positively strange, and beautiful items, here. With the gentleman that works here (younger, white male, with red hair), being one of the top employees that I have ever come in contact with, at a store. Definitely recommend this place to everyone, and will definitely be going back!!:)

This place is lovely... They have a lot of local artists goods on display and for sale. They definitely embody the definition of Portland.

I love this place. Awesome gifts for the every day busy man. They have a good selection of Duke Cannon soaps and colognes too. Definitely check it out. Im always in here.

Such a fun gift shop to explore. I love all of the local and other USA-made items. The cards always make me laugh. We got a nice catchall tray and the most hilarious birding book “The Field Guide to Dumb Birds of North America”. Stop in to play and #shopsmall.

This store was super cute- the owner told us there are over 90 local brands they carry. So sweet and helpful. Great place for locally made products.

I think this is the best gift shop in Portland, certainly for mens focused gifts. However, I would say that everyone would love something in here. Its got a great selection of books, cards, knock knacks, knives, extension cords, leather products ... On and on and on. Its a great shop, stop in sometime.

An incredibly unique place. Consisting of anything and everything that makes a gentlemans boudoir. The items come in from over 90 artists in the area so alot of the things you find are incredibly unique. Alittle pricey but that comes with the authenticity of the items. Very cool f

Well layed out and great aesthetic. You almost feel like you should be handed a robe, scotch and a cigar on the way in. Interesting items with a range from actually cool and something useful to decorative options or kitchy gifts. Wide range of books and knives/tools as well. They were unloading new stock the day we happened to visit and unfortunately were not spoken too once by staff

Cool store in a downtown location near a few other cool stores and shops. A wide variety of items are available here. I ended up getting a T-shirt, sticker, and a local piece of PDX art. The staff was super friendly. Wish the store was closer so I could be a regular customer.

So well done aesthetically speaking and fun light hearted owner made it a unique experience for our family.

This store is very unique and has lots of fantastic finds: cool books and hiking journals, beautiful handmade cutting boards, eclectic items for the outdoorsman, interesting greeting cards, art and more! Michael was fun to chat with and it was easy to see he takes great pride in his job. He even rushed to hold the door open as my husband steered my wheelchair that way. I purchased several gifts that I know will be enjoyed...and even made one more trip (for a couple more items) back before leaving the city. Definitely will return (and I passed on a couple business cards)!

This place is so cute!!! It has decor for all of your niche interests and though its expensive, everything in there is worth it. From furnature to cards, soap to shirts, Boys Fort is sure to have something youll want to take home.

Great shop for men and anyone buying a gift for a man. Lots of shops like this for women in every city, but first one Ive encountered for guys.

They seem to be REALLY nice young men who work there. I didn’t SEE any females that were working there. I’m not sure, I suppose with a name like ‘BOYS FORT’ it Had probably better be made up of entirely boys! LOL!Anyway, it is a GREAT little spot to go in and see what’s what in Portland! I’d HIGHLY recommend this place for ANYONE who likes the name, or has a moderate FASCINATION for ANYTHING having to do with Boys Forts!!

A very good store to visit !! They have interesting things to look at like wooden airplanes, books, funny cards, cute decorations, and so on.My boyfriend tipically doesnt spend more than 3 -10 min in a store before he gets bored or starts standing around.. here he seemed more interested than usual and we were looking around for at least 30 min.

Dont be fooled by the name there is cool and unique stuff for everyone. Definitely, worth a wander and a look but Id be surprised if you didnt find at least one thing to buy.

Lovely service and an artfully organized space. The surfaces which the products live on are as enticing as the wide selection of Portland made keepsakes. Each section of the store has a unique personality and offered a different service. Some aid in decorating your home, others are filled with fashionable attire. I think is should note that women are just as welcome as men, there are plenty of neutral goodies that almost anyone can enjoy.

An *awesome* concept. Boys Fort provides an epic range of gadgets, decorations & entertainment for people of all ages. Dashes of sophisticated luxury mixed with nuanced and vintage. I highly recommend popping into the store!

This store is the mortal enemy of minimalist simplicity. If youre looking to keep an austere, spare, almost bleak space, do *not* enter Boys Fort!From floor to ceiling youll be confronted with cute and compelling novelties, furniture, brick-a-brack, chotckes, magnets adorned with funny, things to hang on walls, and -- my favorite -- cookware and kitchen stuffs, from specialty salt to pans.I tend towards the austere but would use Boys Fort as my secret repository of gift-giving wares.Especially nice is their support of local, artisanal sources. Makes for better vibes and more unique gifts. Swing on by to see whats in stock, and be prepared to spend more time than you expected :-)
