Really cool little gallery. I came here for a show and it was a really intimate experience with a bunch of like-minded people. Pretty cool selection of craft beers and ciders at the bar. Not cheap but I didnt mind supporting the venue since the event tickets were so cheap. Great to see they had gender-neutral bathrooms too!

I want to love this place more but Im not quite artsy enough to fit in.

A great place that Im really beginning to appreciate. They have an eclectic range of events form poetry readings and indie shows to documentaries and science fiction panels. Its a cozy sort of cave that works well as a concert hall or an audience-style lecture room. Id only offer criticism on their drinks, both in size and price. $6 for half of a glass makes it an appropriate place to bring a hip flask. Or just drink before you get there. Overall, I hope to hit this spot more in the future.

SPACE is THE cultural hub of Portland. It is so beautiful and powerful to see a small earnest non-profit bringing in such incredible music, discussion, stories, art, and films from around town and around the world.

Good place to see a movie.
