This place is amazing one of my personal favorite fish stores to go to! Definitely blows any chain out of the water, no pun intended very knowledgeable staff and always try my best to take their advice! Most of my tanks wouldnt be anywhere near where they are now and havent come this far without it! (Including my first saltwater tank which is a super amazing nano reef tank) Highly recommended!

Excellent little shop. Selection of fish in stock isnt huge but they can get toy pretty much any fish you want. The owners are very knowledgeable and very helpful. Ive have a 240 gallon aquarium with about 10 fish from their store. The fish they sell are as healthy as I have ever seen.Picture is of my Geophagus which I got from them.

Save money on many products here. The two guys that work there or own it, not sure but they rock. They are very knowledgeable on many if not all aquamarine products and your questions. They have saved my wife and I hundreds.. Definitely recommend visiting and taking a look around. They sell everything from fish to anything you need for aquamarine products

This place is awesome! They have an awesome selection of healthy fish and other livestock as well as inventory. They carry quality products like Reefbreeders you can’t find at most places.I bought one of my favorite fish, the potters wrasse here for a very fair price.It’s worth the hour drive for me.I highly recommend!

My first experience with them was absolutely amazing. I recently got a salt water fish tank that was pre owned and really dirty. It came with two beautiful fish and I couldn’t just put them in a dirty tank and starting a salt water tank from scratch takes about a month to fully set up. They met me after hours to take these fish so they won’t die and gave me advice on starting up a new tank. I met with Justin he was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I will definitely be using these guys for everything I need going forward for my tank thank you both.

Finatic is an appropriate name for this store and the owner. He was reaming me out about not bringing a water sample. he refused to sell me fish until I did. Also, he was not wearing a mask. I will not return there.

I was really impressed with this place! Not very big but absolutely stocked full of great cichlids, very nice place.

We had a fantastic experience here! If youre looking for a one stop shop for all things Aquarium, this is it. Very knowledgeable and helpful. All of the tanks are sparkling clean and you can tell the fish/plants are very well cared for. Finatic Aquatics will be our one and only place for our fresh water (and future salt water) set ups!

Finatic aquatics is a great place to have in Port Charlotte for fishkeepers. We love having LFS around instead of your usual corporate petstore that carries the same fish all the time. Forging relationships with the staff at LFS helps them to know what kind of fish you like so that they let you know what they have each time that suits your interest. Im always walking out with more than what I intend to buy because they always have an interesting collection at Finatic Aquatics. I hope they become successful and I will continue to support my local fish businesses as long as they are around!

We are so glad to find Justin and Eric! We have a 110 gallon fish tank, they do maintenances and decorating. They have been punctual and have not forgotten us like some other local company... They are enthusiastic, friendly, helpful, and they dont make promises they dont keep unlike their competitor. They are very knowledgeable. I have used 3 different maintenance professionals from Port Charlotte to Ft. Myers- and this is the first place I can honestly say CARES about my tank. I have a 240 Discus tank, and when I met Erret and Justin, it was in crisis mode- they helped me get it back into shape, they knew exactly what had to happen to make it right. They are patient, professional and absolutely more than reasonable with their pricing! I can not recommend them more! Any bad reviews dont know what they are talking about in this hobby- they are a must go to, they CARE!

This store runs copper in their saltwater tanks, this is done to mask disease. I personally have lost around $300.00 purchasing butterfly fish infected with saltwater ich. They obviously have no quarantine system or they would not be doing this. Copper has to used at a therapeutic level for several weeks to be effective against any parasites that could exist. You are in danger of wiping out your entire display tank if you add non-quarantined saltwater fish. I decided weeks ago that I would use them only for supplies since they are close by.I bought some frozen food for my expensive Angel Fish yesterday, it is probably bad because it stunk so bad my Wife complained, when I called Eric to let him know, he told me I had issues. Avoid this place like the plague for saltwater. It amounts to pure incompetence. I know several dealers in the area whose fish are not held in copper, I would seek them out. If you see invertebrates with the fish, shrimp, crabs, etc. you can be sure no copper is in the water.

Professional, clean, and well stocked. I picked up some beautiful fish and will have to come back for some of their unique and healthy looking plants. :)
