Great place with amazing customer service! The staff are well informed and very helpful. Im new to the hobby with little experience, they dedicated themselves to helping me through the process and gave me helpful tips for the future. Their fish and coral look well taken care of and full of life. Overall, this is a well managed store.

Been going there for almost year now they are very friendly and helpful. They also have very good selection of fish and coral. They helped me get my tank back to a very healthy state. Would recommend them to anyone thats looking for a great fish store.

Worst customer service. Have been there 2 or 3 times each visit worse than before. Its a inconvenient for a customer to ask a question or for that matter for just being there.

Nice clean store, knowledgeable peeps

We dealt with Jonathan when his shop was by Lowes. We spent a lot of money with him. He decorated our fish tank, and did a great job, but all the promises of monthly upkeep disappeared, as well as his shop. We knew we were owed for fish tank lights that we had prepaid for, but we did not realize how expensive they were until one day I was going through paperwork and found the receipt by absolute luck! Those lights were $676. We finally found Jonathan, and he did pay us, but had we not found him or the receipt the money would have been long gone. They are poor with answering calls, and hard to reach by phone. When appointments were set with them for house visits for the aquarium, their punctuality was poor at best. We found another local company that can do the same thing as Atlantis that is more reliable and not far off the beaten path in Port Charlotte.

This shop is absolutely incredible. They have a beautiful selection of fish, coral, and supplies. Jonathan has moved my tank and helped to maintenance it at our home as well. He really knows whats hes talking about compared to some of the other folks Ive met in the aquatic industry down here. Go check out Atlantis... You wont be sorry!

Better selection of fish than anyone else in this area. Also very clean atmosphere, they hold all fish for 2 weeks before selling. Tanks always clean and fish look healthy. Prices are fair and they will order you anything you want. They can get busy with a lot of lookers so you have to be patient some times but theres always plenty to look at so I dont mind.Keep up the good work.

Jonathan takes care of my fish tank at work and does a great job. He practically saved it from what it looked like originally which was awful.. very true fly and knowledgeable, and I appreciate his honesty and truthfulness when it comes to what he knows best.

Great selection of corals and fish,but more importantly Jonathan takes the time to educate and inform his clients. He will take the time to work with you and figure the best products and procedures for your specific application. He never tries to push anything on you, instead he will make a recommendation and explain the differences so you can make an informed decision.

Atlantis is by far the best place around for your fish and coral needs! They have a wide selection of high quality rocks, supplies, fish and corals. Jonathan, the owner, is knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He has been a wealth of knowledge before, during and after our aquarium set-up process.

Fantastic! Never been to a place where they take this much time & care to make sure you get the perfect fish for your tank. They even have a holding period for every fish that comes in, to make sure they are in the best condition possible before you take your new pet home. I am a little new at having a saltwater tank & got unexpected amounts of time spent helping me get it just right. I am a customer for life!

Been a few times and selection is pretty great. Not really any other stores in the area, but extremely annoying its NEVER open...

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and they were friendly. The store was incredibly clean and well laid out. The selection of frags both hard and soft was very good and priced well. This on top of a nice selection of fish with the offer to bring in not only what I want but the size I want makes this the best find of the past few years.

I had a great experience! I bought a red reaf tank. Jonathan wasn’t pushy at all he just informed me and let me make whatever decision I wanted. He also stayed late for me. He really cares about his customers!

This place is by far the best saltwater fish store in port charlotte.

Unfortunately I had an incredibly awkward and rude experience in this store as well. The owner and co owner were snapping at each other and very unprofessional. As a business owner, I would never have a verbal disagreement in front of a customer, to make somebody that is in my store to purchase something feel uncomfortable. Not only were they rude to each other in front of me, but I was inside this store for a solid 30 minutes without even being greeted. Tanks looked clean, and fish seemed healthy, but I would rather drive all the way to Sarasota to spend my money on this hobby where Im treated like a valuable customer and never made to feel uncomfortable in someones store. Hope the owners can figure out a working relationship so other customers are not put in the same awkward situation I was in.

This store is only 15 min away from my home but Id rather take the 30 min trip up to Sarasota to have better customer care:)

Don’t pay attention to their hours of operation. Drove 40 miles to their shop for them to be closed 45 minutes early. Definitely won’t be back!!!!!!

Awesome place, the owner always hooks me up with a deal (I always wanted a crinum plant ). He might not have the best prices but he sure does have the rare and beautiful looking fish.

I went to this store for the first time with a friend and the owner, Jonathan, was less than welcoming. While my friend was conducting business with the very friendly co owner I was watching his toddler. I know what youre thinking, a toddler in a Fish and Coral store left unattended is bad news, and youd be absolutely right. Except this was nothing like that. She was amusing herself with my keys and a dry erase marker (not strong enough to take off the lid) when out of nowhere Jonathan passive aggressively starts accusing her of scratching the tanks with the keys and marking them with the marker. An asinine accusation to anyone whod observe. This incident aside Im told he has quite the habit for snappy attitudes towards not only his customers but his mild mannered co owner as well. All in all its a beautiful shop but the gentleman that owns it brings a very awkward and aggressive atmosphere when you arent expecting it. I was so soured by the experience it makes me want to build a salt water tank myself just so I can deliberately give business to his competitors and NOT him.

They were very helpful even though we walked in 5 minutes prior to close. The selection they have is better than most in the area. I believe they come up with prices off the top of their head, though. I was buying a gift for my brother for his birthday, and decided to get him a coral that he had been wanting to buy. The woman who was working called to find out the price from the owner, after which she told me it would be $65. My brother informed me after the fact that the owner had quoted him $45. There is a possibility there was a mixup in which one he wanted (there were two, one smaller than the other, we wanted to buy the smaller of the two- the owner seemed to remember my brother and which he wanted but he may have made a mistake and charged us for the larger one). All in all I would highly recommend this store, they have beatuiful, well cared for fish, corals, etc.

All I did was called to ask some questions about my first fresh water aquarium and the young man I spoke with was more than informative. I was very pleased.
