My husband took me for our first date night in five years when we started dating. I definitely love it and I have been going there once a year. So worth of my time and even, I know the price is very reasonable and it’s pretty big! I am happy that I did, I will definitely come back because I am a fan of haunted house! I am very impressed of the amazing makeover and costumes! I was very fantastic and they scared me for good! I will definitely recommend go there! You won’t be regret. Make sure you bring your friend or family who love haunted house!!!!!
Heard a lot of good and bad about Erebus haunted house that being said we went last night and had a great time definitely worth the hype. As a seasoned actor I know what to look for and might have saw a couple things that normal people wouldnt see but at the same time had a great experience because it is a huge sensory overload. Acting was pretty fantastic and their ability to improv was exceptional
Wow, just wow. If I could rate this place any higher I would. My fiance is a huge fan of gore and horror and loves haunted houses-- me, not so much. I went with him because he really wanted to go, and I will say, they do their job amazingly. I was thoroughly horrified. My fiance enjoyed himself immensely and said he would go back repeatedly if he could. I however was so scared that at one point I started bawling my eyes out like a little girl. The actors were above amazing, they stopped and asked me if I was okay, and if I wanted to leave via emergency exit. They let me catch my breath and calm down, and truly, the compassion and care the employees had made the entire experience so much more above the bar. I did finish the entire house, and ended up panicking at the end again, I was offered water by the employees and they sat with me while I calmed down. Definitely worth the price, definitely worth the experience, and the actors are above par in every aspect of the word. 15/10 experience, will be recommending to everyone I know.
Wow! What a great experience! They have amazing visual effects and the actors are phenomenal! Well worth the money for a great scare. We will definitely be going back next year. I won the free hearse and coffin prize pack at the end of the season this year as well and its amazing! Everyone who runs this is so wonderful!
Super fun. The staff is nice and I had a good scare. You will have to climb stairs as this is a 4 story hunted house. Fairly price for what you get.
The pictures and videos online make it seem so scary! I wasn’t gonna go but my kids talked me into it. I had fun with my family but it was nothing like what I seen on the website. I can’t believe it’s voted one of the scariest in Michigan. The special effects are cool but there were a lot of missed opportunities! It might not have been scary but I had fun!
I give this place 5/5 its an amazing fours story building with new sets each room and blood rattling scares. This is also a good place for kids who arent to afraid of loud noises and banging. Other than that this was a great experience which I will be trying again.
Very scary and fun! This was my first time visiting, I was brought by my boyfriend and his father who try to go at least every other year. Will definitely be back in years to come!
It was amazing lots of fun had a great time some parts are more scarier than others and depending on your pace you might bump into the group ahead of you. The actors are awesome sometimes they even mock you and repeat what you said lmao. Definitely worth the money, the special effects and animatronics are very high tech and buying tickets is a breeze you can buy them online with a card or pay in there with cash. A
Had a great time loved the effects only reason I’m giving a 4 instead of a 5 is they send people too soon and you catch up to the people in front of you which is a bummer. Other than that good time!!
It was the best haunted house Ive been to so far and Ive been to several, including Screamacres, Field of Fear and the Haunted Hydro. And they said do to covid-19 theyre not running at their normal scariness they had to tone things back, normally theres more actors and they will grab you, I typically jump maybe one time if not at most 2 times per haunted house, but they managed to make me jump about 7 times, and even at some points logic says they cant be doing this so theres no reason to be afraid and yet you still cant help but be afraid! Heres the only picture I took hope you guys check it out its definitely worth it!
Our 1st time experiencing Erebus. Wish it was longer though it was enjoyable. Appreciated the effects and investment. Shocking not scary.
Maaaan Listen!! We had so much Fun! Staff was amazing! It was 4 of us and we got here early so it wasnt that crowded, which in my opinion made it even better! Its full of scares to say the least!! Had a Blast!
I did not care for this place. First time going and its not worth the money. Maybe they just trying to make as much money as they can. Inside the haunted house was not long at all. They said its the longest haunted house? I dont think so.....maybe everythingchanged due to this covid thing? They didnt have enough actors, everything was empty and there was so many people in the haunted house. Like we were going pretty slow and we caught up to the people in front of us and the people behind us caught up to us! It was very disappointing. Will not be going back or recommending.
Four stories of the most thoughtful frights you can imagine. The scenes are so detailed and its amazing how much they have crammed in that building. Its a must go!!
I LOVE haunted things, scary things, etc. This being said, most haunted attractions usually dont do it for me. Erebus, though, scared me g o o d. It took a decent amount of time to get through, the actors were top notch, and everything considered with covid was handled very well. 10/10 would go back again for sure!
Me and my family traveled here from bay city ordered tickets in advance with phone number and email. We get there the powers out you could of informed the people who paid ahead. Whats the point of taking the info . Will be requesting a refund.
This place seems to need a serious overhaul. The good stuff like the illusions, mirror maze, and huge animatronics have been the same for years. Its too dark in many of the rooms and the actors need a lot of work!
Honestly not worth the price you pay i would have thought it would be more scary and people wouldnt have been so bunched up we kept running into the group in front of us and the other group behind us so we couldnt get the jump scare it was like one big line walking through but I will say the floor moving behind and the one wall that did close on us was cool but I drove 2 hours for this and was not impressed
Was great, effects were awesome, actors awesome, price awesome even for vip tickets. It sucks though the fog machine malfunctioned and we had to miss a very large portion of the haunt being guided by workers because it was so thick you couldn’t see. The animatronics weren’t on because of the fog and workers and weren’t able to scare because of it.
Extremely disappointed. I’ve been to lots of haunted houses in MI this year and this was the worst. Terrible acting. All monotoned and seemed to want to be literally anywhere else. We paid for vip tickets (like 80$) complete waste. Very uncontrolled line weapons and alcohol and weed visible even to security who did nothing. Intoxicated people screaming at other people in line. The security guard right in front of us was getting a handy by female customer in line while a huge fight broke out behind us. They pushed everyone through the line at the same time with the group behind us literally close enough to to be continuously stepping on my shoes. Literally. And vaping and blowing it in my face while screaming in my ear. Miserable experience. Too bad because we’ve been a couple time and the props are good but everything else completely ruins everything and makes it a waste of money. I would not recommend.Reply to owner since it won’t let me another way. Yes I’m 100% positive it was Erebus in Pontiac. This wasn’t my first time here, I gathered a group of maybe 6 of us with the fast pass and went the weekend of the 3rd of October. It was terrible to say the least
Always looked forward to going, was a slightly more than average haunted house for a significantly higher price. However, a worker actively broke character and became hostile when my friend was trying to give a worker something (belonging to Erebus out of place). He belittled her and she was just trying to be nice. Very uncalled for
Put a lot of detail into this haunted house. great job! worth the money. kid friendly!
So many different sensory experiences. Good old fashioned jump scares. Lots of different rooms to wander through. Loved it!
It was our first time here and we left disappointed. It’s definitely not what I was expecting. I thought they would have tents outside covering the line from rain but they didn’t so make sure to prepare for that. We weren’t sure what line to go in even after security pointing us in the right direction. They need to have signs!! I definitely recommend the speed pass or vip. If you get general admission you’ll wait for hours! Don’t do it! There were no actors or entertainment of any kind outside and very few throughout the haunt itself. We caught up to the group ahead of us pretty quick and ended up seeing the actors scare them so when it was our turn they didn’t try. At one point there were about 6 groups including ours forming a line DURING the middle of the haunt! We were all just standing there together for about 5 minutes. I felt like a majority of the haunt was walking through darkness. You will have to bend down, climb a set or 2 of ladder like stairs and run on hill like pathways, but no crawling. You won’t get touched or separated. It’s very hot inside of the haunt! You are supposed to be able to purchase your pictures at the end or online but because I left my wallet in the car I decided to get them inline. When I tried to get them the code was coming back invalid so no pictures for us. I would have returned to buy them if I had know there would be an issue online. It was fun I guess, but not scary and not worth the $36 unless your taking kids 8-15. I recommend going some place else!
It’s okay. It’s fun, but not scary. If you’re easily scared you might like it, but for people like me who aren’t, it’s okay. I didn’t jump once. Walked through it just fine.
Honestly the longest scare ever. The line moved quick and you can pre pay for a timed entrance ( shorter line) . This is my second time and I was still scared. I sweated so much from the anticipation and scares. Great haunted house!
Was really well put together but wished it was longer. As did the other 7 people in my group..
Everytime i thought i knew where they were gonna pop out and scare me they kept me guessing coming out of a completely opposite way I loved it!!! Lets just say it was my first but wont be my last time coming here...
It was the best haunted house Ive ever been to, but it could of been scarier if it wasnt as crowded inside
Special effects were great. Limited actors, probably due to covid 19. But effects are like none youve seen or (felt).
2020Do not go!Erebus this year is a shell of its former self. I would say it only uses 1/3 or less of its usual space. Only two or so of its interactive scenes were used. If you are adventurous during this season your best bet is to travel down to Ohio to go to a real haunt. I messaged the official FB and asked if I would get the full experience my gf has never been and we didnt want to travel that far if the haunt would be lackluster and I got no reply. So basically they are making the public pay full price for a full price haunt that is sub par and a fraction of its former self.
Experience was Dry & Rushed... In & out real fast... Didnt jump or flinch once from actors. Not thrilled at all definitely was a waste of money. 4 stories definitely felt like 2 honestly.
It was okay, I expected more. I was able to walk right threw without a problem. The stories Ive heard didnt match my experience. I feel like they could have done more. Im tall so my back was bothering me theres allot of bending down, walking through small tight spaces and also theres allot of stairs. The main issue I had was it being really HOT & with masks on i felt like passing out! Making it outside was my favorite part im not sure how much longer I was going to be able to last!
It was really fun for 20$ but definitely not as scary as its been in the past
I was impressed by some new additions and disappointed that some were gone. I’m sure it was COVID-related reasoning, so it is what it is. I’m not sure I’d recommend it this year if you’re an Erebus veteran.
Very cool experience....im glad that I went inside....
Have to go again my daughter isnt happy with me it was amazing though
There is no social distancing what so ever. It was completely crowded, shoulder to shoulder. Many people were not wearing mama and no-one seemed to care. It was more crowded than I have ever seen and there were hardly any workers/scary people. It was completely unsafe and our picture code doesnt work.
Covid petri dish. Already standing shoulder to shoulder in line and the worker is continuously SCREAMING at us to move in closer, face-to-face. Finally had to call it and leave. They obviously care more about how long their line looks than ensuring everyones safety. Disgusting.
A lot of fun but they were rushing everyone thru to fast so we were backed up with groups in front of us and behind us. Took most of the scares away because the actors did not have time to reset
Fun for whole family if u can take it. Its worth the price whould nt advise if flashing lights trigger your seizures.
I had a lot a fun there and Scares with my friends keep up the good work
It was ok I wasnt scared but it was the dreaded patient with the diso lights would have u like ok wth
Had a character employee at the beginning of the set say aww look at the baby (trying to be creepy/funny) to my stomach in front of everyone. I am in no way pregnant. It wasnt funny. It was embarrassing
I would recommend theres alot of blank ipen ereas so i would rate 4 stars but there is some realy scary moments and there is some really dope things in there. Theres this fog swamp thats cool as hell it tripped me out the actors do a great job so the reasons i wouldnt rate 5 stars are made up to give it 5 stars definitely worth 30 bucks
After the recent killing, there could be a real ghost haunting the place. A visitor who never leaves, but who is always first in the queue.
We waited 2 hours, ive had better time in smaller less expensive places. Need more actors, I started hiding and scaring ppl i got bored
I was super excited to go and it was such a blast worth the wait and the money
Amazing! Hands down one of the scariest attractions Ive ever been to
Not scary at all. Not worth the money. Don’t waste your time.
I love this place it was very scary, and I don’t rlly get scared so I recommend it
We took our teenage boys there, they loved it, would go again. I suggest buying speed pass for a few more dollars so u dont have to wait in long lines out in the cold!!
It was very scary and fun plan to go here again
Line was 2 and a half hours long and practically no social distancing or masks enforced. Security guards were barely watching the line and throughout most of the house itself I was kinda yawning. if it werent for my hilarious screaming girlfriend or the grown man behind us yelling help every so often I wouldnt have enjoyed myself at all. I dont know if its just me but haunted houses in general are very cheesy and just not very scary at all.
It was ok think caz of covid
Vicious and A Great Place 2 Work & Experience Different Avenues in Life & Meet Different People From Different Parts of the World! Thanks for Having Mii
It was fun. Not really scary though.
By far the best hunter house I’ve been to, recommend it for anyone
Really enjoyed ambience i will return next yr
Great experience alot of fun and scary!
Wasn’t scary the actors looked like they didn’t wanna be there.
I think it was very scary and fun to do the lines are long tho lol . I think if you want to be really scared 1 out of 10 (10 being the scariest) its a 7.8 in my opinion .
Not bad but could have been better
Best haunted house Ive ever been to
Absolutely frightening! I can’t recommend for smaller kids but wonderful for teenagers to adults to have a night of fun, worth every penny for each and every unique scare that I was presented with. All of the actors took their jobs seriously and you could tell that they all cared about the place and your experience. Truly incredible what they do here.
It wasnt super scary but they had alot of illusions and things. Takes about 40+ minutes to complete
Best Available actor are the best make up interesting attempt at Erebus
It was ok you guys good job to you all
Would be 5 if it wasnt for covid reasons
Dont get run over by the firetruck
Wasnt scary to me its ok
This was so fun and a great experience.
Wasn’t scary at all one of the worst ones I’ve been to, definitely wasn’t worth the 2 hr drive
It was scary..... good job guys !!!!But no social distancing at all .....
I was disappointed. Something had happened the night we went and I dont know if this is why there were no actors jumping out and scaring us. It very well could have just been because something happened that night. It felt more like a workout instead of a haunted house. If you have any bad back problems definitely do not go in. There is a lot of bending down and walking up stairs. I am literally petrified of haunted houses, but was able to walk through with my eyes open the whole entire time.
It was a great place but it would have been better if they didnt have to remove like 3 or 4 of the rooms they had but it was a great place to get scared it felt like playing a horror game but in real life
Definitely worth the visit if you like haunted houses! Scared the heck out of me at least. Lots of jump scares. Was holding my friends arm the entire time lots of cool effects to appreciate as well
The guy at the beginning set the whole tone.... Not scary
Not bad staff was awesome.
Its not too scary, its more of a visual experience that any thing. They have really amazing illusion rooms that are extremely detailed and its like something youve never seen.there actors tend to break character a lot tho, it was funny but kinda made the experience less scary. Still enjoyable tho!
The actors cannot touch you, that being said the only scare tactic they have is sounds and peek-a-boo method. Its the same every year they didnt even change up the scenario from 2 years ago which is the last time I went up until just yesterday. Once I realized the scenario was the same I knew what to expect. Unfortunately if you know what to expect, you cant be scared. The least scariest haunted attraction Ive been to.
Could have been a great time but paying 105 for vip tickets just to be on the heels of the group before us ruining the experience since got to see everything that jumped out before hand also the group after us caught up and kept stepping on me etc was highly disappointed considering I drove 2hrs
Popular haunted house located in downtown Pontiac, Michigan. Awesome family attraction, however i personally wouldnt recommend taking youre child if theyre under the age of 13. It has a cool fun twist on spooking you with fun themes and antics, but can also turn up the fright and literally scare you out of the haunted house! If youre a visitor from out of the state its a must try. Or even an native but maybe havent ever visited; give it a shot. Youll be happy you did
Decent production and actors looked good, but for $29 per ticket on the weekend I was expecting much, much more from this experience. I didn’t find Erebus very scary although a few exhibits during the journey through the haunted house were pretty cool.I most definitely wouldn’t spend the money again. I think most families of 4 will feel Erebus was a poor value at $116 on a weekend. At $20/ticket on weekdays, I could possibly justify the cost.
Waited in line for 3 hours this place. Is garbage
I had an amazing experience scheduling a group party last Saturday night with Erebus. Michele worked with me 1 on 1 to get 33 tickets coordinated for the Speed pass. She guided me on how to collect the money from the attendees upfront and then call her to do the purchase. She made it very easy for everyone. Love the speed pass option as well. Everyone was inside within minutes of their arrival. We had a few wimp out but the rest can’t wait to do it again next year! I will be scheduling this group event again... thank you for the fabulous memories!
I have heard about Erebus Haunted Attraction for years as a must-see haunt. This year my wife and I drove from Florida to finally experience it! We both absolutely loved Erebus! It’s totally unique - there’s nothing in this haunt that you’ll see in other haunts - and that’s a great thing! Their actors are very good, scenes are very realistic and scary (in a good way) and the atmosphere is very creepy. It’s a fun haunt but it’s also pretty intense for most of the hour we were in it. An hour is a very long time to be excited, scared and be feeling uneasy - you definitely get your money’s worth at this haunt! Top notch haunt that I totally recommend...
Awesome scare attraction! Had a blast. They switch things up every year. So its always new and some old favorites.A+
Very scary..the clown scared my baby out of her crocs
