What an awesome museum!Loved the pontiac cars and history.Its a must visit in pontiac.Walkable distance from the historical association museum and plenty of parking nearby.Definitely recommend!

This is a must see destination for any car enthusiast. Great collection of anything and everything related to PONTIAC automobiles. Not only are the cars great but the library is unbelievable.

Fantastic piece of history. This museum has everything an auto enthusiast is looking for from manufacturing exhibits to some fine samples of automobiles. Great gift shop. No admission fee. Downtown Pontiac IL is located on old Route 66. There are several museums and restaurants that are very tourist friendly.

What a wonderful little museum. Great displays and interesting information!! My husband and daughter are car geeks, and this was a birthday surprise that did not disappoint! Definitely worth the stop!

This place was one of the most interesting places to stop on our mini route 66 adventure.

Great history about the Route 66. In depth detail on places and people that made the trip and help make it what it made it the mother road.

This is a cool place, I am glad I found it.

Some of the finest displays I’ve seen. Loved the iPhone audio app for key areas!I wish the front door clerks were empowered though as I desired to enter the library archives with one on a Sunday afternoon to look up a car history and they preferred to sit and remain on their iPhones & social media instead.

Nicely done small collection

A large selection of vintage automobiles and unique displays with a Roue 66 theme. Friendly staff, nice layout, takes 45 min. to an hour to go through.

I love auto museums, and Pontiac. Just slightly disappointed they didnt have a Aztek. I loved mine though it was disliked by most. It was the most practical and fun conversation piece I ever owned.

Been here more then once. Love it every time cars change often. Recommend this place to any car lover or even old building lo e this place is awesome.

Wow. I was immediately impressed with this museum. Lots of thought, care and planning has been put into making this place exceptional. Excellent job on lighting and placement of vehicles and setting.

Great museum

If you visit Pontiac, IL, it is a must visit museum. Pontiacs diverse differentials are exhibited. Admission is free, but there is a donation box. There is a small gift shop, but there is no attractive product. This museum is made up of several museums in Pontiac. There is free parking for 2 hours in front of the museum.

We arrived just before they closed on a cold winter night. The young lady in charge stayed there late to let me and my 2 kids look at everything. It was so nice of her. It made our night! Cool place too, with a big Pontiac library!

A MUST see for everyone who travels near Pontiac. Perhaps one of the greatest personal collections of all time.

Amazing culture and history. Free entrance (donations accepted). And if you get a group of people they will take you on a tour of all the storage buildings in the surrounding area housing an amazing collection

Great place Pontiac is blessed to have this museum as part of its town! Tim is a fountain of knowledge!

It has only a half-dozen cars Plus a lot of memorabilia. It is free with the donation requested.

This place is small but still interesting

Drove about 4 hours to get to the museum. There is not a ton to see (about 20 vehicles). However, what is there is a good representation. Plus admission is free and the place is very nice. Being a Pontiac lover and restorer having a source for research is great as well. If you are not a a Pontiac Person and just want to see cars more than a 2 hour drive might be disappointing. There are many other sights however in this small quaint downtown area.

Small yet nice place. Watch that lady in green leaning over the counter tho.

Very good place to learn Pontiac history. If youre restoring a car called them they have an extensive Pontiac Library to help you.

Smallish but worth the stop. Alot of memorabilia and books available. They host some pretty cool car shows as well.

I was very impressed with the quality of items on display. Though limited by space, they have a nice variety of Pontiac and Oakland vehicles, memorabilia, resources and swag!

A bit smaller than anticipated, website had shown a partial restored Judge that we had expected to see but wasnt there. Maybe website needs some attention?
