It is a beautiful historic home. Elegant yet comfortable. Many children grew up in this house, a business was run from here and yet it still has its charm!

Great place to enjoy a lil history and love their events

We happened to be attending a car show at this place and was so thrilled to get a tour of this beautiful mansion included with the entrance fee. Im a new resident to this lovely state and thoroughly enjoy its history. Very good find

Charming. Great outdoor shows

I remember when this house was located on Dixie Highway and used as a homeless encampment. I drove past it every day and it was so sad to see it in its decrepit state. Since then the house has been moved to its new location and lovingly restored. Its picture perfect now. I visited recently when they were hosting their sixth annual classic car show. Our family has a 1915 Model T that was displayed. The house was built in 1916 making our car one year older than the house! A five dollar admission got you into the show and a home tour making for a fun afternoon. They had a food truck and DJ in addition to all of the cars on display. I always love to pay a visit to the house. On the ground floor there is a living room, dining room and kitchen complete with butlers pantry. The second floor houses a room they use for changing exhibits (on this occasion there was clothing worn by the Seminole nation), a childs room, and a bedroom with a wedding dress. The wood used in the house has been completely restored and it smells so good, like a natural pine air freshener. There are two gazebos on the grounds and the house makes a lovely back drop for the weddings held there. Also every October the Womens Rotary Club of Pompano hosts a haunted house. My daughter volunteered this year doing make up for them and its always a popular event. There arent too many historical gems in Pompano so this house is a real treasure. Its definitely worth a visit, even more so when they hold an event.
