Great holiday event - The Elf on the Shelf, 2020!Well organized and executed. We probably wished a bit more for the money paid. But kids loved it and that counts a lot in the Covid times!
Elf on the Shelf, although a little pricey was an awesome experience. My daughter loved it. The lights and the elves were excellent.
Loved this place!! Saw a lot of great animals and Im glad they were rescued and well taken care of now. Will definitely be back again to have a closer encounter with the animals BUT they did raise the prices.
It was very delightful to be here at this event. This place was big and easy to find just follow the signs and it will lead you there. There were a lot of people to come out ( minus the chills) with the family to see the awesome displaces of lights. There were so many different of a creative way of lights, from animals to plants, trees and so on. There were also cultural dances and music for you to enjoy. They also sell foods there if you are hungry. The parking is $12 but there plenty of parking spaces. This is a good way to bring the kids and have walks with your family. I would be back to see it again.
I was so upset especially for the price, it is NOT worth it, try a different event. The monsters barley came on outside to scare us and we couldn’t see the screen to even get the concept of the event. I was so upset and we was only there 27 mins.
The Grand National Roadster Show at the Fairplex in Pomona,California is a real hit! Hundreds of the finest hot rods, roadsters, customs, dragsters, loads of great food and drink is available too!Family friendly, plenty of parking, a great experience ! I missed the independent operators. You know, homemade pies, some unusual chicken recipe - instead big slick food booths run by large companies with no personality.Plenty of interesting exhibits, lots of games of chance. All in all a pleasant outing.
Wonderland...especially for children. One of our best and most unused treasures in the County. Wish they would get the word out.
Havent been here in a loooooong arse time. Since I was a kid. Glad to see the big slides still around. Its a more colorful version; maybe they just painted over the old one. The food and rides are fine, but I did have a problem with the games, especially the basketball ones. From a side perspective, you can see that they bend the rims inward so its more of an oval, rather than a circle shape. This obviously makes it much harder for the shooter. What a rip. Parking is a nightmare.
It was a great fair last year, but I had just one day because I was going to Houston, TX the next day for my overseas trip to Sydney, NSW, Australia. I had a remarkable time there. This year, therell be no fair, so Ill be relieved from returning. Come 2021, I promise Ill come back.
Loved light displays. Crowd was chill. Chinese musicians were delightful playing a mix of traditional and modern . Cool stuff for kids and insta fans.
Thanks to Yelp, I scored 2 free tickets to Anime Impulse (and also Asian American Expo and Blushcon)! The cost of parking was not covered and traffic near the Fairplex was really bad, but these things did not ruin the experience. The con was mainly split between 2 buildings with an outdoor area that included eye candy on wheels. If you asked me what were my favorite parts were, Id have to say seeing all the uniquely styled cars on display and the free gaming in a building that included consoles and various arcade games! The rest of the con included many vendors, a showcase for artists, panels, signings, and many cosplayers.I have to say that this con was the perfect size and scope for a casual anime enthusiast such as myself. The well-known Anime Expo can be super crowded, costly, and a bit intimidating at that. With free admission included to the Asian American Expo next door, this Asian American most definitely had a great time this past Sunday.
Year round this is an amazing place. The Millard Sheets Museum is amazing and does so much for the community. The Farm also is a great local resource for fresh local produce and education.
Came through with the fam, great time. Come prepared to spend some money, 16oz icee with souvenir cup is $8. King taco 3 burritos + nachos $40 parking $15 or $25 for VIP - $12 for adult entry $8 for kids ages 6-12 - wristband for unlimited rides $50 - 100 tickets for $50 each game cost around 12-16 tickets each so it goes fast. Just come prepared especially if you have a family. Other than that a great time. Great event.
Big fair$50 dollars unlimited ridesfrom 10:00 am to 7:00 pma lot of rides and foodtacos, Turkey leg 3
Spectacular lights and learning of the Chinese culture
Went to the Pomona fair plea to support my school and had a great experience nice and clean with cool air conditioning and lots of shade and good food️
Went to a red bull motocross event. Had a blast. Plenty of seating
Awesome place for festivals” Chinese Lantern”
This was our first time visiting Pomona California. We happened to be out for a business convention at the same time that the L.A. County Fair was going on. as luck would have it, after the convention we had time to walk through the fairgrounds and enjoy visiting vendor booths as well as taking in all the sights and smells of a fair. What amazed me more than anything was the fact that the fairgrounds were exceptionally clean and well organized despite being surrounded by thousands of people, sometimes having a hard time even moving. A great experience overall and would recommend it for anyone who has an opportunity to visit the grounds. Tip: Try the Texas doughnuts.
Best car showsGreat historyGreat atmosphere
I attended the Los Angeles County Fair at Fairplex in September of 2019. It is a vast area with a number of attractions and buildings throughout. However, it is also relatively easy to navigate once youve made sense of the fairgrounds map. Food can be understandably pricey, but all in all, there is something there for everyone to participate in, whether you are a county native or youre just visiting.
Fun for the kids and intresting to adults as well. Great place
Wonderful upgrades, more picnic benches and more shade. Only complaint is that they need to return the FFA animals as the fair had in the past. City kids need to experience farm animals of as many types as possible! Bulls, cows, goats, pigs, piglets, so many were there in the 1970s through 2010, but now so few are left. Please bring them back! And extend the fair one more week until the end of September!
Really great fun!
Being in field marketing I have had the pleasure of working many events at the Fairplex always a good time.
I loved the 2019 L.A. County Fair so much I went once with my friend, and once with my wife!
Had a great time at the Chineese lantern festival
Very nice and friendly. Lots of fun for all events
Although the LED lights and stained glass were lovely, THE CHINESE LANTERN FESTIVAL wasnt anything like I really wouldve expected to see at a LANTERN FESTIVAL. Also, tickets and parking were very overpriced.
The fair is always fun!
Cool place to buy and sell auto parts used
Always something new to watch... thanks to all the nice hard working persons that make this happen....Thank you!!!
Soccer fields are ok. Really muddy.
Kind of pricey but me and PAPa still had fun memories I will always cherish.
Cool place with a lot of cool events
Pretty good swap meet and show
Awesome location. So happy you guys have beer!
Its huge! Its open and it has a lot of fun events. It is a great place every weekend to come and spend time with the family.
I use Google map to get to the fair plex sent me to the wrong place. Stopped and talked to one of the attendants they sent me to the wrong place. Talk to another at tendon and told them why dont they put signs that are clear that directs you will you can drop people off. Attendant didnt Care about it. So if you wanna come here just have a lot of patience with people cause youre gonna need it.
NHRA DRAGSTERS ALWAYS THE BEST!
Went with my family to the LA County Fair (09/16). It was our first time. We had loads of fun! Spent about 7 hrs at the fair. So many many things to see and do. We didnt even get to half of everything there is... reason for 4 stars, not 5 is for pricing. It is moderately expensive. Expect to pay for parking, admission, and carnival rides. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) spent almost $300 for just those 3 things. Not to mention food and overpriced water bottles ($4). You can buy a souvenir cup and get $3 refills throughout the fair (or you can just ask for free water in your cup. Just make sure it doesnt have any leftover soda because they dont rinse the cup!). Most importantly, dont forget the sunscreen!
Love it!!! the drag racing and fair are awesome!!!
Great time for all. Beautiful day
My First Harvest Festival was Great
I love the LA County Fair here.
Redbull straight rythem!
Looking forward to LA county fair 2021
Great place to have fun with the family. Lots of things to do.
The Child Development Center is exceptional. Our son spent 3 years there and he loved it, and we loved it as well. After he was done there and he tested for 1st grade at his new school, the teacher was very impressed. He was more than prepared for First grade. The CDC has a rich program with fantastic staff. Call check it out for yourself and compare with other development centers in the area. I guarantee you you will choose this one.
Spent my youth going to the fair, always excited about seeing the displays, vendors, and art exhibits. Last time I went was 2002. Went back this year, and will never go again. Shocked by the number of food vendors and pay games that have taken over the place. The entire area next to the horse track used to be vehicle displays, independent vendors, and even campers and boats. Its all food and games now. Ill stick to the San Diego Fair from now on.
Went here for warped tour and it was a good venue but poorly laid out. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean!
I was there for the LA county fair and to see the Styx show. The parking was easy(there are trams), the atmosphere was fun, and the venue was fantastic! The only tiny downer was the hired person to help people find their seats who was inconsistent with who they allowed to stand in the walking aisles. But thats hardly anything to dock points on! Great place to visit!
Large two room suite with a very comfortable firm memory foam king size bed. Well maintained. Our room was near the elevators and the sound of the elevators was noticeable at times but not really annoying. Sensitive people should request rooms far from the elevators. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Great venue and racetrack for custom car and hot rod shows also at the same location Los Angeles county Fair, AAA Motorsports track, boat shows, RV shows, home and garden shows
The LA Fairplex has been a site of great fun for me over the course of 9 years. You dont really need to participate in anything there to have a good time. Since it has many rides and attractions during the late summer, I suggest you go. Its a relatively kid-friendly place, and everybody is welcome.
Really fun place. Great food. I just wish they had more animals to see.
The 2018 L.A. County Fair was amazing my kids had a wonderful time. But very expensive. Everything there is overpriced. The only problem I encountered were these 2 miserable humans that were working the rides, one of them was at the bumper car rides, this girl had an ugly attitude, there was a little gate for kids with a fun pass, she was to lazy to open the gate and just sat there looking miserable... I encountered something similar at another ride and again attitude and laziness.. Other than that this place is super fun.
It was Super fun oh the food oh my God!! It was amazing they had everything and anything you would want to eat!!! Love it very much!!!
Nice walk through, different events happening through out the year! Kid friendly...nice experience!
Awesome place, food was AMAZING!
The Jurassic Quest exhibits well really well done. As with everything of this sort, the prices were way too expensive.
Lantern festival is beautiful. Hint: get tickets on Goldstar or Groupon. Also, not much to choose from in way of food. The selection that is available is pricey, like a fair.
Went for the Chinese lantern festival, great family outing but way overpriced for the area they had availbe but my girls loved it
Latern festival was great. A visual feast
Love Farm events . Wishing for more. Always have a great time.
Went to the Animanga festival. In building C.Had lunch at pinks hot dogs.Excellent!
The drag races are always good fun bring your wallet though
Loved the fair. Just wish the food wasnt so expensive
Fairplex is the home of L.A. County Fair in city of Pomona. It is more than just county fair, since the fair only last like 5 weeks. The rest of the year, they held many smaller events. Usually only use couple of the exhibit hall.Parking is range from $10-15 depend on the event, theres really no other way get around. The bus doesnt really go here and really force you to use their paid parking lot.Theres no street parking anyway in the area. This place is a bit out of dated, and could just some remodel. It does stay its true theme of County Fair in all year around. Not many known this, this was one of the location that possible Disneyland might be build. But because of the weather and kinda too far from most city that pull the plan off the table.
Great place for exhibition
Less crowded than the OC fair. Good food and drinks as well.
Love the animals and the food! The parking, not so much.
Great fair. Tower of Power and War were fantastic.
Fast amd resonable service
Fairplex, formerly known as the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds prior to 1984, has been the home of the L.A. County Fair since 1922. It is located in the city of Pomona, California. The L.A. County Fair is now held during the month of September, but the facility is used year-round to host a variety of educational, commercial, and entertainment such as trade and consumer shows, conventions, and sporting events.
Very fun during the La County fair I recommend it for everyone who can make it there. They have a nice fireworks show during 4th of July watch it from my porch 2 minutes away
Been here for a few events and its been good. Its a bit run down in some of the buildings, but good overall. The LA fair is usually here every year.
My boyfriend and I went for the Winternationals at the Fairplex this weekend and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it is set up to host a big crowd. The most awesome thing was the clean bathrooms that were kept up throughout the whole event. I even saw an attendant there to keep things tidy. It never felt like they didnt have enough space or facilities for the large amount of people. And the races were super fun to watch!
I went to the LA country fair and it was nice but packed
The LA Fair has changed for the better.
This is home to many great events like the Los Angeles County Fair, the NHRA, and other smaller cultural events. Parking staff is helpful and so are all the help desks. Come with money since there will be food you will want!
Dog show had fun
Pretty fun place to check out a festival or sporting event. I attended the Day of the Dead festival and the grounds were laid out well with both indoor and outdoor stages. Beers werent too bad at about $8 but you had to stay within special beer garden areas to drink. Most notably, the traffic and car situation to get into this place is a mess. After you pay, stay to the right and try to get into a parking lot as quickly as possible before they wind you half a mile away from where youre trying to go. Parking is a mess here but it really is a great location to throw a show without neighbors complaining.
I really dont have no friends and I want to hangout with fifth harmony and friends
It was a great experience. My son had a blast
LA Cookie Convention & Sweets
Lots of expensive food choices ;-)
It was cool a lot of nice people and a awesome night to party! Lol
Came here last week for the reptile show. Bought a few bugs.
Annual Cheers wine tasting was a wonderful event.
Very moisture, I love it so much
Yesterday I went to fairplex because we went on a Field trip my experience was awesome there had lots of fun
The fairplex is where the Pomona fair is held. Its a great time for famiies to walk around eat and enjoy rides. There are a variety of vendors for shopping- random items which is great for those things that you never thought you needed and would add to your life. They have a great wine section and wine tasting.
Great venue for concerts and festivals!
Worst fireworks ever...horrible sound... website said 30 min fireworks show 915 to 945...ended at 929!!! 130 dollars for that. Very extremely disappointed.
I just got here and the line is out the door. A lot of people have their faeces painted & I can hear chainsaws. So excited.
A little old and run down but great event spot
Fun place. Nice fairgrounds. Pretty area.
