This place is awesome. The coaches help the students in a positive manner. They do follow safety guidelines. The students have a great time learning and advancing there skills

My daughter turned 3 at the end of July, at which time we decided to enroll her in gymnastics. As a professional athlete now, my primary concern was to ensure that the fundamentals were not only properly established from the first day but that my daughter not advance until she was ready. Advancing slowly and properly, as needed, is what I was looking for in a gymnastics facility. I’m a HUGE fan of setting extremely good habits with foundational skills. There’s a reason why Champions are born at WOGA - they’re obviously doing something right!WOGA starts the littles exactly like they should (establishing proper form and foundations), which makes me feel 100% confident in the coaching staff. No matter who is coaching my daughter, each individual coach has shown parallel training from the others, so I know my daughter is receiving consistent coaching.Communication: LOVE! They continuously send out reminder texts of fun events; monthly newsletters in my inbox; calls during business hours are answered by a live person; if I have a quick question after class, the coach is at the door and absolutely inviting for open dialogue and assistance; when I’ve had a more in depth conversation regarding adding a second class during the week, Mary (WOGA Director) was readily available to give feedback and be my sounding board, etc; my daughter has missed a couple lessons and when I called to see if there was any chance I could sub her in on another class, they were very accommodating.Class Structure: Again, love it! Class is started with a focus on stretching (so important to just START the habit!), followed by principle skill structure, followed by a couple exercises. The utilization of class time, importance of safety, constructive criticism and keeping things fun is 100%. My daughter BEGS me to go to gymnastics class every.single.day.Pricing: Inexpensive! Honestly, and I don’t know how competitive their rates are with their surrounding competition, but I would pay $120/mo for once weekly lessons at this age! The quality of lessons for their current rates truly make gymnastics a very affordable activity for younger children.COVID protocol: Hands down impressed! They make me feel super safe in the decision of attending a public class. They haven’t missed a beat, not once, in temp checks, hand sanitizers entering and exiting, structured seating that maintains social distancing and more.Previous reviews: I’ve read all the bad reviews and I can personally vouch for WOGA, their instructors and their staff in that they are fantastic and unbiased. I actually overheard a mom complaining the other day (which led me to give WOGA this review) that her child needed to be advancing and doing bigger things and that she was unhappy with her younger child staying in the littles area in the back of the gym during its class (which, isnt necessarily how the classes work. Yes, the Littles warm up and will work on principle skill sets in the back, but they also rotate to other places within the gym, all for extremely valid and purposeful reasons). As a pro athlete, I will be the FIRST to tell you that is EXACTLY HOW KIDS GET HURT - when they advance too soon! As a parent, when you pay for your child’s lessons, you are paying a professional in the industry to coach your child... it is crucial that you let the coaches do their job and leave the advancement of your child to the professionals. I fully trust that WOGA and its Coaches have my daughters best interest at heart. Gymnastics isn’t for every kid so its equally important that, as a parent, we are focusing on letting our children happily enjoy their classes and solely allowing themselves to determine their involvement (or lack thereof). It is completely unrealistic to expect a Dom Perignon on a Keystone budget. As soon as my daughter got her feet wet, she expressed a high level of interest in gymnastics so we gladly picked up a second weekly class and couldnt be happier! We will absolutely be a loyal client for as long as our daughter wants to do this and will continue to refer friends!

My entire family grew up going to this gym. The staff and owners genuinely care about the future of every athlete that walks through their door. From birthday parties, summer camp to toddler classes... if you have kids that you want in an athletic & positive environment then this is the gym for you!

Enrolled one of our children there. The staff was rude and dismissive. They bully certain kids and favor others. It has a very “mean girl” vibe to it. Don’t waste your money if you value your children.Edit: in response to WOGA’s replyNo thanks I already went through emailing back and forth. Y’all were dismissive, rude and Sarcastic. You can put on the cheery face on this public form and be willing to bend over backwards to resolve concerns but I know how you are behind closed doors.

Started a 3 and 4 year old in classes about a year ago and my experience has been extremely positive. I would recommend for young kids starting off without reservation. Our kids love going and coaches weve had all have great relationship with our kids (even ones theyve had just once or twice seem to remember their names and say hi, very impressive).Regarding their policy on rescheduling classes as I read other reviews on this issue - for us personally the staff has been beyond accommodating with our kids missing and rescheduling many classes. It has never been more than a 30 second phone call to get days changed. Never any hassle or nagging questions just a friendly, we got it, see you then. Note we have changed dates beyond what is acceptable in their policy and still no issue. I would think youd really have to abuse the policy beyond any reasonable metric if you have an issue on this matter based on my experience.

This place is amazing if youre looking to introduce your child to actual gymnastics. Coaches demonstrate technique and work with even the littlest ones; no child is left to just run around and play - there are plenty of less expensive places to do that! ;) Ive seen tremendous improvement in my daughters physical abilities since starting here a little over four months ago at the age of 3. The front desk staff is always friendly and accommodating. They offer seasonal camps during school breaks which are fantastic and they even have a nice sitting area for parents with free wifi.

I was reading these reviews and I wanted to write a review from the child’s perspective. When I first started going here I was 10 years old. At first I knew how to do forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels and, round offs. I had been going there for 1 1/2 years. Now I know how to do forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels and, round offs. None of the lower level coaches are experienced and they favorite certain kids. There are many nights I have fallen asleep crying thinking about how a four year old (paying more) is prioritized and, can do back and front handsprings, back and front tucks and, back walkovers. She’s 4!! I no longer go here and will be looking for another gym.

We’ve had a fantastic experience with WOGA. My daughter started taking rec classes when she was 3 years old and have now been at WOGA for almost 15 years. Couldn’t be happier with the coaches and their commitment to success for each gymnast whether on team or just having fun in rec classes or the various camps.

UPDATED: 1/23/2018 My daughter is now 5 and she is still with this center. Everything is still awesome and my daughter enjoys every moment she has with the class. She has not skipped any classes since the first day she started here. She can do a lot more tricks now. She is definitely stronger and more confident now. Thanks all the trainers and staffs for the dedication you put in this place.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------My 4 yrd old daughter is on her 3rd month here. She could not speak English but the instructor and the Recreational Director Mary have been working with us to make sure she could follow. I was so much appreciated the dedication and the patience the staffs had to provide my daughter the best training. My daughter has always been so excited after each session. I do not know how I can provide any negative feedback to this center. Thanks WOGA.

My daughter was there for the summer camp I took her because she always wanted to be in gymnastics . She had a lot of fun and thats all that matters. I would like to put her in a full-time gymnastics class but she definitely will not be going back to this one. First of all I saw in one of the coaches physically pull a girl by her arm and push her which is very unacceptable and I told the staff about it . Then my daughter told me on her last day that one of the coaches are very silly because he likes to tickle them Which is really weird and very scary . Overall she had a good time but I fear if she were to stay she would get hurt In many different ways.

I have LOVED having my three kids at WOGA. It is evident to me that the spirit of excellence trickles all the way down to the toddler classes. They have worked with us so generously to find times that work for all of my kids at one time. I have been to other gyms, and I am so impressed with the skills my children are learning. Every drill has recognizable benefit for future skills. My kids are constantly moving. I can see improvement literally every week. The instructors are knowledgeable. I can see them offering corrections to my children when they need better technique and they continually praise good effort. My kids cant wait to get there, and want to go more often...all good signs of great coaching and atmosphere. Heres what my kiddos have to say about WOGA:Elijah (3): Good!Boaz (5): SO AWESOMELY GOOD!Velvet (7): AMAZING! I use a lot of effort and I want to win medals. We love WOGA!

My daughter got a fever whole week and WOGA only can reschedule 1 class/ month. It’s very unreasonable! If next time she get fever whole week again she can’t miss the class and other kids might get sick because of the stupid policy!!! They only care the policy but not kids!

Best gym ever. I havent even been for a year and you can see my improvement, they offer the xcel program for late bloomers so age dosnt matter. My coach gives us the attention we need as well. They have had a dozen Olympians and 2 winners. This really is the best gym ever

This place is the worst. The instructors were rude and disorganized. It seems like all they care about is making a little extra cash. My daughter was insulted and yelled at. The person managing the email communications was rude, and sarcastic. We told them we were leaving and because we didnt do it in writing by the first they charged us for an entire month of services we never received. (even though we told them prior to the first). When I brought this to their attention they became rude and sarcastic. I ended up paying for the month just so I didnt have to deal with those truly despicable people. My daughter hated going there. From the way she talked I got the distinct impression they were bullying her. Gives me the creeps just thinking about that place. Id rather slit my wrist and do pushups in acid than take my child back to that environment.

My kids are 6 (boy) and 4 (girl) and have been coming here for almost 2 years. I have mixed feelings about this place. There is no doubt that it has produced some awesome gymnasts but I feel it isnt the place for an average or normal child who is wanting to learn some gymnastics skill. I got my kids enrolled here because they are little and have lots of energy. They love doing cart wheels, forward rolls, somersaults... So I thot it would be perfect to have this as a Saturday morning activity where they can dissipate their energy. The environment is nice. The equipment is fine too. Though I have seen some places that have indoor zip lines which I thot was pretty awesome. The staff leave much to be desired. They do not provide much feedback about the childs progress. In the last 1.5 years I was never approached by any instructor with any kind of feedback about how they felt my kids were doing or what they need to be working on. Every time I approached them with the concern that I dont feel they are able to master a certain skill as I observe, it was met with a generic reply of they are doing fine, which was frustrating sometimes as I was putting in time, energy and money into this but I wasnt able to see the desired results. My kids were pretty seriously injured twice in the last year and it wasnt reported to me which was again very upsetting because the left half of my sons face was bruise badly and no one had the courtesy to approach me with that information. Infact one of them was very rude when I complained that no one told me about this incident. I still kept my cool and we still kept coming here because its super close to where I live but I feel that as other moms have said, it feels like you are paying for the training of the higher level, older kids. If your child is awesome, Id definitely recommend this place but if he or she is average, you are better off taking them to some indoor play place than here as little effort is put into improving the weaker kids than is placed into polishing the already skilled children. Hope this helps. Today is our last class at this facility.

My daughter was attending this Woga in Plano for 5 years. We recently moved further North and she is in Frisco. Both campuses are amazing. The waiting areas are comfortable as well. We love Woga. Its great to have 2 locations with drop off activities, so that I can show houses as a Realtor throughout the Metroplex.
