Had a fantastic time here watching Smoke and Mirrors a great production, this event was provided for us by Randy Wright who is one of their top donors. I was not expecting very much when i entered the building. But once we had started to mingle with the other guests and had a pre-show drink we were shown through to some intimate seating which was setup on either side if the stage, so sitting in the front row, you were basically on the stage with them .I have never really enjoyed local theatre in the past, but this production and location has changed my mind, it was very well put together and the cast were amazing, they made every scene realistic. We had a short 15 minute interval before the second part and then the show started up again. My wife and I had such a wonderful time it is well worth the money they ask for per show or even better value are the passes you can buy.All in all a great time and we will return and bring others next time, we may even pay for our own tickets

Great facilty to watch plays. Productions are different and interesting - not the usual run-of-the-mill stuff. Chairs are comfortable, concessions and tickets are reasonable, staff is outstanding! Bring a jacket, just in case.

Saw a great play, the theatre felt very intimate which can be a blessing and a curse but loved it nonetheless. It was a very warm and inviting environment. Reasonably priced too.

Saw Any Wednesday and really enjoyed it. Wine is available for a donation. Seating is first come first serve. If you are looking for Broadway style production this is not for you but the acting was good and we all enjoyed ourselves

First visit (Sep 2016) to this venue and it was a lot fun. Good excuse to get out on Thu night, eat at downtown Plano restaurant and then a live performance. Very inexpensive so donate a lot to help them keep them in production. Theater seats about 80 and you are very much up close and personal. Lots of fun shows in future. We saw Kongs Night Out; what was going in the next room from where King Kong was pulling Ann Darrow (played by Fay Wray) from the apartment room way up the sky scraper. If you saw the 1933 movie you know. UPDATE Jan 2020 Back for the fun of it. You have to hand it to the actors and all backstage that make it real to see Sherlock Holmes and the Portal of Time. You bring the imagination and they will bring the entertainment. The show takes place in three eras; 1918, 1936 and 1939 across England, Germany, Scotland and a final scene in Switzerland in about 800 square feet. Trust me it works. For our show the best laughs were for the shadow casting on the back wall.

Rover is a wonderful non-profit theatre organization that brings uncommon and forgotten theatre to the DFW and as a patron and volunteer Im always so thrilled to see what they have coming up next! Great venue and amazing owners. They do productions of course but they also do summer camp classes and an annual Valentines murder mystery dinner! When they have a new show open they do a Thursday night preview that is pay what you can (great for seniors and broke students) and first Fridays where you can enjoy some refreshments, meet the cast and crew and learn about all the cool stuff Rover has coming up! You really have to catch their next show!

The shows are great. Cast and crew do a great job of keeping your interest in the shows. BTS management... not so much. Poor attitude from owner may keep me from visiting again. Next production will need to really catch my attention.

What can be said about the Theatre Community of Rover Dramawerks? I say theatre community because of the vast difference in vision, execution, and artistic integrity from what is considered community theater. The incredible talent on stage is magnified by the dedicated crew that is behind the stage of every show that Rover produces. These performances are not so Aunt Ida can get outside her crochet circle but to see true actors and actresses put on truly professional shows that will move you. They are a vital fixture in the Plano community and add to the diverse arts programs that the city supports.

We went to opening night of Four Weddings and an Elvis and everyone should see this play! The script is hilarious, the acting was excellent and the crowd laughed throughout the entire play. I enjoy small, intimate theatre group productions vs. the major ones.

Cactus Flower - cant say enough about the performance; it was hilariously outrageously engaging and kept me chuckling all evening. Heres hoping you have a packed house every night. Loved each character - the facial expressions told even more than the dialogue! Even if you have seen the Walter Matthau/Goldie Hawn or Adam Sandler/Jennifer Aniston movies, you have to see this live performance.
