Working with event 1013 for a proposal event was a great experience. It was a smooth process and the staff went above and beyond to provide us with everything we needed. I highly recommend this venue for any event you are planning.
If I could Id put more stars! :) This is one of a kind venue with unique character and charm. Last night we held a lecture/discussion with a popular Russian satirist, writer, scriptwriter and radio host - Victor Shenderovich. Unlike an auditorium, the venue has a very cozy and intimate vibe, which allowed a pleasant and positive interaction between the speaker and the audience. The high end sound system, the lights and the overall facility and staff contributed to a memorable event for everyone who attended the event. I highly recommend this venue for any event!
My fiance(now wife!) just celebrated our wedding here at Event1013 a few weeks ago. The venue is very beautiful and we loved the historical feel of the environment. During these stressful and uncertain times, Ron, Deborah and Shamica were able to make our wedding truly memorable and handled everything with professionalism. Communication from our initial stop-in all the way up through our actual wedding day was prompt and consistent. We loved that this venue is also able to give us a truly custom experience. We could select tables, table cloths, colored lighting, decorations, plating, etc and each item is priced individually and very fairly. Both Ron and Deborah proved to also be so flexible with our arrangements allowing us to come in the day before our wedding to setup initial decorations ourselves so we could put things exactly how we liked and our next day would run smoother. When paying our final invoice, they were gracious enough to even give us some items and services at no charge which was both unexpected and extremely generous. We both would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for a wedding venue or hosting a private event! Thank you Event1013!

Event1013 is a gorgeous intimate venue. There are a lot of little details throughout venue that makes it such a neat place. The venue was P-E-R-F-E-C-T for what we wanted to achieve for our Corporate Gifting Event. From the open feel to the open cubbies in the wall that we used to display our products, everything was so well thought out. We are so glad we chose event1013 for our event!
Had a VIP fashion show at the venue. We had a very good experience. The event coordinators on staff were very helpful. Denise, the supervisor, was Godsend in several ways. She connected me with local vendors that would assist in making our event great! The space was perfect for the citys historical vibe and ambiance needed for my show. It was one of the most beautiful shows I have ever produced. I really felt like a priority by the owner Deborah throughout. Ive been producing events for over 10 years, and event1013 is the only venue to send a written letter thanking me for choosing it for my venue. I never felt like just an event organizer who was just writing a check. They worked with me to problem solve. Their in-house equipment was a huge plus for convenience and quality. The bathrooms were always clean and the building is well maintained. They do what they say they will do, and I definitely recommend event1013.
We recently had our daughters Bat Mitzvah at event1013. The place has a wonderful ambiance and great management. They made the whole process so easy. Would highly recommend this venue for any occasion.
We recently hosted a company charity event at 1013. We cannot say enough about this venue. The location is great. The building is beautiful and unique. The staff is so amazing they go above and beyond to make the event perfect!
Came here today for the Yelp Family Launch party and I really loved the space. As you walk into Event 1013 there is a huge open front room framed with original brick. The back area is smaller and has brick as well and between these two spaces are gorgeous mens and womens bathrooms. Literally I want these bathrooms in my house! Raided sinks, a sitting bench, glittery counter tops, candles, palms, and huge stalls. I know it is weird to say to check out the bathroom, but check out the bathroom! You will not want to leave--really!The event itself was great! Tons of things for the kiddos to do as well as for the bigger kiddos. I love that the space allowed for several food and drink booths in the front, face painting, cupcake making, and balloon animal making in the back. I think the only thing missing from the event was a dance party or something to welcome and round up the kiddos so they couldve gotten to know each other.I think that this would be a wonderful spot for weddings, birthday parties, and graduations. I love that this spot is in downtown/historic Plano that is reviving itself and trying to grow. I hope that it brings more people to the area.
My siblings and I recently threw our parents a 50th Anniversary party.Denise, Deborah and team were absolutely incredible. Every little detail counts and they were there to guide us every step of the way (especially when we were being very indecisive).They took care of everything from the table setup to the lights and the premium audio and lighting system that they have. They really helped us make this night as special as we could have possibly make it for our parents. We feel fortunate to have found them and will definitely be using them again!
This place was amazing for our event. We hosted more than 150 people and everything just ran so smooth. The staff and the owner were very professional about their business. Would recommend this place for any kind of event you might have in the future.

We had our cheer banquet at event1013 last night and it was great! Its a beautiful space and Denise was easy to work with.
Would never work with. Rude and offensive. An academically acclaimed student group from UT Dallas attempted to book an event and was rudely and offensively dealt with by the owner when asked for a certificate of insurance as required by the international organization’s risk management policy. The owner stated it was not the venue’s responsibility for the bad behavior of the women and their families attending [a scholarship banquet] and that she would not give the women the information needed to sue her. Every venue booked in the past had no issue providing the COI. I’m not sure what this location is hiding or if it’s just a lack of professionalism.
Denise and Deborah were incredible! They made the setup process incredibly seamless and their service was impeccable! Both my clients and internal team left happy and already mentioned how theyd like to continue to use Event 1013 as a venue for any future market research sessions/workshops in the Dallas/Plano area.
Denise, Deborah, and Ron are extremely helpful, especially to out-of-towners like myself. We had a corporate presentation here, and loved the functionality of the space. Plano in general is a very cute town and place, and we will definitely be returning!
I cannot say enough good things about event1013. My nonprofit for adults with autism, Austens Autistic Adventures, recently had our spring art show fundraiser at this space.In a word, it was magical. The spacious front room is both elegant and comfortable, with gorgeous hardwood floors and soft lighting. Brick walls have evenly-spaced sconces for candles. The feel is simultaneously antique and modern, not an easy balance to achieve. Exterior windows are able to fan open, and we did so on our warm springtime-in-Texas evening. This allowed our guests to mill about outside, and for passers-by to see what was going on within (several people came in and bought some art!). A beautiful old credenza was provided to us to serve as our bar, and placed near one of the open windows.The center of the space is divided by a large screen, behind which sits a small media room. We were able to show a video of our group in action at the beginning of our event, followed by a looping slideshow of still images. A microphone was provided for me to act as MC.Behind the media room is a full-functioning kitchen, with warming ovens, refrigerator, ice machine, prep space, and sinks. We were able to prep all our appetizers and desserts without anyone seeing a bit of chaos.Bathrooms are lovely and soft lighting is very flattering. There are soft hand towels; a nice touch.Walking into the end of the space feels like youve entered a secret, romantic garden. To the left is floor-to-ceiling candle wall, with spaces for frosted pillars (which candles sit behind) . Look to your right and you will see another huge screen; you are able to feature two different media feeds or the same one both front and rear, as we did. The back wall is covered in ivy and will remind you of an English cottage.Finally, I would be remiss in not thanking the incredible staff who helped us pull this off. They will sit down with you and make sure everything you need is ready to go on your big day. A staff member will help create chart to show precisely how you want your space arranged. There are many options available to you (some at additional charges) so that you dont have to lift a finger if you dont want to.While our event was a fundraiser, I cant imagine a more perfect place for a wedding reception. But whatever you need or can think up, this is the location you want!
I had a banquet for my sorority at this venue and received SO many compliments about how beautiful the space is! The exposed brick and beautiful antique furniture gives it so much character! The staff was so helpful and kind. I am so impressed with the service! We will definitely remember this venue for future events!

Wow. What an amazing venue in all aspects. We held a viewing party here for political election season, and I was amazed at the versatility of this venue, and its capacity to function for weddings, but also for corporate and professional-style events, as was the case with our event. The room was the perfect vibe - sophisticated and clean - while also maintaining its uniqueness. Dont be fooled by copy-cat venues in the area. What sets event1013 apart is their staffs passion and attention to EVERY detail! This shows in the finishes of the building, but also in the care they take to ensure that every event is perfect. When our event looked understaffed, the owners (I repeat: THE OWNERS!) cared so much that they were helping our team bus tables. They stayed on site and were so connected through the planning process, and really made the whole night a dream. If I was a bride or corporate planner - I would never think twice about choosing this amazing venue. Deborah and Ron are stellar owners, and their team will not let you down! Thank you event1013!
Affordable Vintage LocationEveryone at the location is very nice and responsive to emails! They have o problem answering tons of questions or letting you make last minute changes! The living garden is perfect for an outdoor feeling weeding without working about the weather! The location is a must see and very affordable!

Fantastic venue. Great food. This is a great place to hold an event, penally comfortable for 100-125, not sure.Had a brunch there, catered perfectly and the projector and sound system worked workout issue.

This place has been absolutely amazing to my fiancé and I! We have held our annual Hermoso Mundo art exhibition for two consecutive years now, and we could not be any happier with the location. We had the pleasure of hosting a baby shower here for the co-op owner for Whitney London Events in September 2018 on a Friday evening! Such a beautiful venue, great staff ! We would definitely recommend our clients to have a wedding or party at this venue due to the versatility of the space and allowance of open vendors. We look forward to working with them again!
Very nice venue for decent sized group in a nice location, but parking is a bit tough. Be prepared to walk a little bit, but its not bad.
There was little communication between venue and participates. The event venue was hot and lack seating. The event was poorly laid out with little vision. I would not trust my special day to a place like this.
Great space, wonderful ambiance, and an attentive, friendly, and professional staff that quickly responded to every last-minute thing we thought of. I would highly recommend.

Everyone at event1013 was so helpful leading up to our event! The venue is beautiful and really didnt need much decoration, but can also be a blank slate for any style. Denise and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend for any wedding or special event!

What a great place to hold our first one day Christmas market! Great atmosphere, holiday music provided, assistance with the large media screen, and flexibility on the refreshments we served. The hardwood floors and rustic brick walls added so much atmosphere. Since we could open the full length windows in front, we had many walk-in customers! We’ll be back!
We held a concert here. During our time the staff was friendly, everything went well technologically, and the space was incredible pleasant and spacious. Highly recommended. Also the acoustics are great.
I have been to events here and also rented it myself. The staff are great and very professional. There is a large main room.in the front and an additional smaller room in the back. We usually host jazz concerts here for the vibe. Its in a trendy part of Plano.
We hosted our company shareholder event at event1013 and had an excellent experience. The owner and staff were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the process - from helping us plan to providing support on the day of the event. We had many compliments from our guests!
I have attended several different types of events here. Each one has been such fun, and yet different, as the atmosphere of event1013 is easily molded into what you want it to be! The brick walls and wood floor are warming; the modern garden wall is romantic and charming. The staff is very helpful.
I had my wedding here on March 11th 2018 and I can honestly say everything about this venue is AMAZING! The staff is absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful with planning! We had our ceremony and reception here and it was beautiful. The venue has an awesome list of vendors they recommed that really made planning everything so much easier. They also have an amazing bridal suite behind the venue that offered plenty of room for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in! I highly recommend this venue for any event!!

Was a great venue for my brothers rehersal dinner the day before his wedding. His guests were staying at the Cambria near the shops at legacy though so their drive to the hotel was a little long.
This place is amazing! I had my wedding here just a couple of weeks ago and the staff did everything in their power to make every detail as wonderful as possible. Denise really took the time and the effort to make things run as smooth as possible. 10/10 would marry here again!

The staff was very helpful and the onsite mangager the night of the event was charming and helped us pull off a super fun, successful evening.The location is very central and my clients raved about the evening. I would DEFINITELY recommend the venue for events, weddings, receptions, parties, meetings-anyplace you want a successful event in a wonderful venue!
Had my EP Release concert there. Was absolutely sold out. Everyone loved this venue. From my staff, to my fans, and my friends. We used Event1013 the past 2 years for our company holiday party. We love the venue. It isnt a typical event space which is why we love it. The rental cost is extremely reasonableas well. My only suggestion is I would prefer they either charges bit morein rental or offer to pay an additional fee to have them clean up for us rather than cleaning up ourselves. But it is a beautiful venue.

We had a fabulous experience hosting our 2017 corporate kick off party at event1013. The staff is wonderful, and Melissa did a great job hosting our event. The location is both historic and has the cool, urban vibe that we were looking for. We enjoyed our catered dinner, the sound system/video wall for our corporate video and the DJs music videos when we were dancing later in the evening. All in all, it was a huge success and we highly recommend event1013 for any type of event!!
This space is very cool, flexible and centrally located in Plano. We used it for my daughters 16th birthday party. The staff was really great to work with. They helped us transform the space into a hip looking disco vibe. We are now looking at this same space for a business function which is a statement of its flexibility.

Our organization had a 3 hour staff training on a few weeks ago at Event 1013 and had a wonderful experience. They accommodated our staff of 45 very comfortably and the staff there was very attentive, happy and willing to assist with any requests we had. The venue is very clean and stylish with lots of space for a large group and is very multi-functional. I would highly recommend this venue for whatever the occasion may be!

Extremely awful experience. One of the staff members was very rude to me in every occasion on the phone. She even hung up on me!! I was simply trying to clarify an issue, but she simply stated I dont want to talk to you any more about this.I quickly advised a friend that was considering this venue to look elsewhere...Do yourself a favor and find a business that is worth supporting.
Beautiful event venue. Everything is a la cart so you only pay for what you use with plenty of options for upgrades. Friendly and responsive staff. All the guests enjoyed the atmosphere.
Event1013 is absolutely beautiful. From the minute we walked in we knew this was the place we would get married. Very rustic and urban all at the same time! The bare brick walls and wood flooring is so awesome, you do not need any extras to make it perfect!We were extremely excited that this venue allowed us to self cater and bring our own alcohol. (2 items that are usually really expensive when having a wedding!) The price of the facility was a little higher than others, but since we could save on the catering and alcohol, made that price tag part okay.From the beginning all of the staff were extremely welcoming and were all about us on our day. Melissa was extremely helpful and super genuine. After speaking with so many vendors it was always delight to speak to or email her. Melissa was a great event manager for the night of the wedding. She jumped in to help lace up the wedding dress when bridemaids fingers turned into thumbs, she gently nudged us along to get the cake cut before it melted (sitting out for 5 hours- oops), she also helped my mom with suggestions along the night to help the wedding move smoothly. Melissa also checked in with myself, the groom and my mother several times to make sure the night was going okay- such a super sweet touch! Without her help Im sure tons would have been forgotten. She is an absolute gem and Event1013 looks even better with her working and managing events.Even after our event we can still look back and say everything went well and we were so lucky to have Melissa, with top notch customer service, there to help us along the way. Thanks Event1013 for an unforgettable evening!!!!

I recently got married at event1013 and feel absolutely blessed to have found this little gem. My husband had actually taken me to an event there prior to his proposal and I fell in love with it.The atmosphere is very romantic which keeps things personal. The venue can hold up to 198 I believe which was great for us because we had a small wedding.The staff is absolutely wonderful, it doesnt matter who you end up working with and they will literally help you until youre about to walk down to your love!They have great pricing and allow you to rent items. There are no approved caterers which is nice and allows you to be able to bring your own food if you wish.I would definitely look into this venue again for any other big events.

I had my 12yr old daughters runway show at event1013 and it was a total success. The venue was just right and the staff Deborah, Melissa, and Lacey were wonderful with making sure we were satisfied with our experience there.
